Okay, we're going to do some lam rim until about 8.30, and then we're going to do some real app presentation session. So, I'm going to continue with the book. We're at 268A, 268A, YIDMON, Y-I-D-S-M-O-N.

Okay, Denaje Tsongkapa Chamber. So, he quotes Tsongkapa. He's starting the 15th day of the teaching.

And he's quoting Tsongkapa. DE LTAR GONG PA'I KHOR BA'I PHUN TSOG LA YID MON DGE GCIG TZAM YANG MI SKYE ZHING YIN TSEG KUN DU THAG PA DANG NYON NA CHUNG NA NGAN CIG DE TSE NGAN CUNG BSKYED PA LA How do we know we have the right attitude about life? When we can recognize samsara.

Then, samsara means a circle, right? What's the circle in the two husbands in the kitchen? We yell at our kids.

We make a bad seed. Next week, we come home. Husband says bad thing to us.

Then we answer the husband. We plant a new bad seed. Next week, the kids are bad.

This means samsara. This is suffering. You can break it with the pen.

Oh, husband come from me. Then I won't say bad word back to him. I want to break this cycle.

Okay, so then when we walk around the world, when we go to Bangkok tomorrow, you're going to see the airport. Everybody there is traveling somewhere. Why are they traveling somewhere?

They want something. So you will see in the airport maybe hundreds of people from many different countries. Then you have to ...

When you're in the airport, don't waste your time. Especially if there's a long line at the airline. You can do samsara meditation.

Standing in the line. Sometimes you have half hour, 45 minutes. You can do samsara meditation.

Everybody in this room, everybody in this airport, they came to the airport because they want something. Then it's human nature. When you want something, let's say I want a mala.

Human nature, training for 50,000 years. If I want a rosary, watch. I talk to my arm.

You go over there. What? You go over there.

Why? I want the mala. Okay, let's get the mala.

Then it's a most basic human nature. I will reach for the mala, and I will take it, and I will bring it close to my body. Then I got a mala.

This is human nature. 50,000 years. Now, when I do this, am I making new seeds, or am I using old seeds?

Well, using old seeds mainly. When I ... Now, that samsara, in the airport, everybody wants to go somewhere to get something, to bring it to myself.

In this system, don't be seed burner, be seed maker. Don't be seed burner. I love this rosary.

I want more. Okay?

[Speaker 2]
Understand?

[Speaker 1]
It's the most basic human thing. It seems stupid. Oh, I pay money to come to Thailand, Geshe-la go like this.

It seems foolish to teach me this. But it's the most deep thing. When human being want something, we ...

and we bring to me. Now, after you came to this retreat, if you like the rosary, give to somebody else. Make a new seed.

Make a new seed. It's very difficult. It's so simple, it's difficult.

Okay. ,KHO LA GZHAN GYIS BSTAN SANG PO BRTAB DANG, ,ZI ZHUG DGOS DI SOGS CHAD PA NA, ,DI DANG BRJED MI LTA PA YIN, Then, he says the teacher also, when the teacher gets up on the seat, oh, everybody is nice to Geshe-la. Everybody gives flower to Geshe-la.

Everybody gives a red envelope to Geshe-la. Thank you for red envelope. But the teacher's side, we have to think, it will finish.

I will also finish. This retreat will finish. Everything's moving.

So, the teacher has to take the medicine during the class. Okay? I also will change.

I also will leave. So, when you teach, remember who you are. You are lucky to teach, but you won't live forever.

You will also pass. ,DI DANG BRJED MI LTA PA YIN, ,DI DANG BRJED SDUG BSNGAL BA'I YIN YANG DU, ,YIN BYUNG RNAMS PA'I MI NUS PA ZHIG, ,SNGA MA NAS YOD CHOS GSUNGS PA BZHIN, So, it's good when you teach to remember. My friend, I think it was Aldo.

Aldo from Mexico. I don't know if you remember. I remember.

[Speaker 2]
Where are you?

[Speaker 1]
You gave a teaching. I was there. He said, when you see your friends and you go to the movie together, then when the movie finish and you go home, Aldo said, I remember, say goodbye to them as if it's the last time you will see them in your life.

Because maybe it will be. Okay? Then, I thought it was very sweet.

It's a couple of years ago. I still remember. When you say goodbye to someone, do with love, because maybe you won't see them again in this life.

This is the first song I played in one year. In the guitar. I couldn't play for one year.

Why? Last Christmas, we played in our place with our good friends. The drummer, three days later, he went to the restaurant next to our college.

Thai restaurant. He's eating dinner with my other student. They are a couple.

He died. Like that. He's young.

He's a normal person. I was in Beijing. I got a phone call, two o'clock in the morning.

Geshe-la, Geshe-la. What? My husband dying next to me right now.

What? He's dying right now in the restaurant. Is he dead?

No, but I think he's just breathing a little bit. Ambulance is coming. What should I do?

You know, say some prayer. Then five minutes later, he died. He died while I'm on the telephone.

We couldn't play for one year. Every time we play, we remember him. Okay?

So, when you meet your friends, when you go home tomorrow, say goodbye with a lot of love. We don't know if we can meet again. Okay?

So, sweet. Not depressed, okay? But a happy sweet.

Be sweet. We have to be sweet with each other. We don't know if we see each other.

Okay. ,DE NA NGAN BCUG GI SANGS PA, ,NAM DAG GCIG RGYUD LA SKYES THAB PHYIR PA, ,KHAL PHYIR DE RANG, ,DRE DE NYON DU NYER BA'I TSOR BA, ,SANGS RGYAS DGOS PA'ANG YIN, ,DE BA LA BYANG SEMS, ,DE BA LA SNYING RJE, ,DE BA LA MA SHES NA, ,MRIM SHES MNGON DU DRUG DGOS, ,SANGS RGYAS DGOS PA'ANG YIN, ,DE BA LA So, this idea when you're at the airport, you know, you see your friend for the last time. Maybe they will die.

Then this is a kind of love for one other person. But in the airport, tomorrow, several thousand people will say goodbye to several thousand people. Then think about it.

Don't just love the person from this retreat that you say goodbye. But make a prayer for everybody in the airport. Many husbands are saying goodbye to their wife.

I will see you next week. But we don't know if they will see them next week. Many people are saying goodbye to their parents.

Parents are going on a vacation. Many parents died on vacation. So, think about the whole airport.

You can use the time. It feels like a waste of time to stand in the line to wait, right? But a Buddhist person, we love traffic jams.

We love long lines at the airport. We can do meditation. Actually, you are very lucky.

You can think, Buddha made a traffic jam for me. Buddha made a long line for me. So, I can have love for all the people in the airport who are saying goodbye to people they love.

And maybe they won't meet again. If you want to make the... If the line is very slow, it means if you are very lucky, you can make the meditation deeper.

This Lama said here, you can make the meditation deeper. Each of the husbands saying goodbye to their wife in this airport today, each family saying goodbye to their mother and father today at the airport, every child in the hand of every mother in this airport, in the past life, they have been my mom. Okay.

You know, we are having so many beautiful performances. We had a lot of... We just had a Mexico performance.

The Russian performance was awesome. Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine. It was amazing.

And then the Singapore, Malaysia. Then the Germans were pretty good. Especially the meditator German.

Okay. It looks like we are different people. Oh, where is this one from?

What country is this one from? You can guess. Oh, this one from, I think Malaysia.

This one from Indonesia. This one from Russia. Okay.

But all of them have been your mother. Not one time. A million times.

There's a joke in the jing. Each person in this room cleaned your poo-poo many times. When you were a baby.

And each man and woman in this room gave you milk from the chest. It feels a little strange. Play rock and roll with Stanley.

And then said, thank you for feeding me milk. Thank you for feeding me milk. But it's true.

Okay. So when you're at the airport, maybe somebody will push you. Maybe somebody will go in front of you.

Then feel happy. Oh, my mom came to the airport. My mom in front of me.

Go ahead, mom. Maybe you will be in the airport until the next day. Okay.

Okay. ,KHOR BA'I SDUG BSNGAL RANG BSTAN DU BSGOMS PA'I NGAN CING DANG, ,SKYE BA CHEN PO'I SKABS NGAN CING BSGOMS PA MED THABS MED, ,LHAG PA SKYE BA SDUG BSNGAL NGAN CING DI LAM GYI TSOR ZHIG STE, ,DE'I RGYUD LA SKYE PA'I NA GSUNGS PA'I NGE BA CI BYAS THAR PA'I RGYUR DROR ZHING, If you think like that, then standing in the line to check in your luggage, you are making seed to become a Buddha. So don't think you can only practice at your house in your meditation cushion.

Sometimes you can have a better meditation in the airport while you're waiting. Then you don't waste your time. If you are irritated, how many people here?

Why can't the airline hire more workers? You can feel irritated at the airport. It's okay, it's correct.

Or, you can plant the seed for Buddhahood standing in the luggage line. So you decide. Okay?

I think this one is very powerful. Probably you can remember tomorrow. Okay?

In the line. It's kind of a strange feeling, you know? Every ugly guy is your mom, gave you a meal, and you're like, okay.

Then in the line at the airport, you are making seed from your Buddhahood. Okay? Okay.

... So, most people, when they do good thing to other person, it's a cause for samsara. Okay?

They are not making... There's a... we call it dirty good seed and a pure good seed.

And a pure good seed. Okay? So there's two kinds of seeds.

Bad seed and a good seed. Inside the good seed, there's a good good seed and there's a bad good seed. The bad good seed keep you in samsara.

So what's the difference? Three hundred dollars. Three hundred dollars.

Wait, what'd you say? Almost. That's a hundred dollar answer.

Three hundred. What makes a good good seed and what makes a bad good seed? Three hundred dollars.

[Speaker 2]
Chintzong, Chintzong.

[Speaker 1]
Where's Chintzong?

[Speaker 2]
The good good seed is... Okay. I mean, I try to answer the bad good seed first.

The bad good seed is I plant this good seed for myself. For my... I want to get something, then I plant this seed.

I plant this good seed just to get the things that I want. The good good seed is I'm doing this, I'm planting this good seed, but I'm doing this to get things for myself so that I can be the living example for everybody so everybody know how to do the good thing to get the things they want then they can create the perfect world.

[Speaker 1]
That's a better answer than the answer I was thinking. Okay. So, I agree.

Three hundred dollars for you. Her good good seed is better than my good good seed. Okay, thank you.

Okay, I'm going to repeat what she said. Even if you understand the pen, okay, there's two ways you can make good seeds. Okay, so I have, I don't know, I have rosary.

Then I like them. They are very good for hitting your husband. I mean, to do the prayer.

Okay. And I like to have a rosary. Then I can think her bad good seed.

If I give this rosary to Xiaoping, I will get ten. I will get ten. Okay, so she said this is a bad good seed.

You're just thinking about yourself. You understand the pen. You understand to plant the seed.

But your goal is just for yourself. Now, take the rosary. I want ten.

Okay, I want ten. And I hope other people will follow my example. Watch.

Bad good seed. Good good seed. I want to be virus.

I want to be like the guy in Oslo who didn't kiss all the girls in the restaurant. Okay? I want to be example for other people.

Then this system will spread because of my example. Both are good karma. Okay, Xiaoping, I want to give this.

I hope you enjoy. You will get ten rosaries, but they have a number, limit, limit, ten. Only ten.

Okay, in this system, not enough. In this system, ten times not enough. here's a good good seed.

I will give her rosary because I want. And I pray people will watch me. Oh, he's giving rosary.

Then he got many rosary. He's helping other person make money. He got a lot of money.

I will also try. I will also help the old lady in the nursing home because he got a nice partner. And the other people watch you.

Wow, he very successful. Maybe I will try. Okay, we call infinite karma, infinite karma.

Why? Fan copy fan, fan copy fan, fan copy fan, fan copy fan, no limit, no limit. Okay, that karma never finish.

Keeps growing. Forever. It will go around the world many times.

People will copy other people. People will use the seed because you are successful. Two ways to teach.

You should use the four steps. First way. Second way.

Look at my girlfriend. She's cool. You also want?

Go to the nursing home. Okay? Then that's a better teaching.

Show other people your happiness. Show other people your success. Practice yourself.

Then people will... Then you become teacher. Automatic teacher.

Of course. People will copy you because you are successful. You have lots of money.

You have beautiful family. You're healthy when you are 65 years old. Okay?

Then of course people will follow you. And that's a good, good karma. Your answer is better than my answer.

I thank you. We're going to do a Finnish mandala, Jasmine. And then we're going to have our real app.

So we have Vasana from Taiwan. Vasana? Vasana?

Vasara? Vasara? No?

I think she's in the line at the airport. Oh, here she comes. She's getting exercise also.

Sorry. Okay. Wait, wait.

One minute. Catch breath. Okay.

[Speaker 2]
Okay? Yes.

[Speaker 1]
Okay. Let's go. Okay.

Okay. Let's go.
