[Speaker 2] Let's meditate. [Speaker 1] I like the way Jina did the cover. Where's Jina? I don't know. You can do all your death meditations without opening the book, and I encourage you to do it. It's a really good idea. Just, you know, when you're waiting for class to start or something, you can try to remember what each picture means. Okay? Okay? So, you don't even—it might be more interesting to just leave the book like that. You know, I turn the cover so I can see it, and just put it near your meditation cushion and try to remember what's each one. Okay? Okay, you ready? [Speaker 2] Let's meditate. [Speaker 1] We could go straight to our breath. [Speaker 2] Let's do 30 breaths to bring the mind down. [Speaker 1] And the next death meditation is to think about the things you use in your life. [Speaker 2] Refrigerator. [Speaker 1] Car. Clothes. You know? And even things like a doctor or your dentist. Then in this world, the things you use to stay alive—doctors, medicine, food, house, a car—many of them can kill you also. So, many people have been killed when their house fell down. Many people have died in a car accident. [Speaker 2] Many people died putting on their seatbelt. [Speaker 1] Many people died talking on the phone and not watching the road. Many, many people die every year—killed by accident by the doctors. [Speaker 2] I have a friend whose mother was killed by a dentist. [Speaker 1] So, we're going to do a cheerful five-minute meditation about all the things in your house and the things that you use, and think about how they can also kill you. And tomorrow, for the WeChat assignment, I would like you to send us a message about three things in your house or things you use that might be the thing that kills you in this life. [Speaker 2] Okay, five-minute meditation. Three deep breaths. [Speaker 1] Take a stretch.
