[Speaker 1]
We reached class number seven of ACI Foundation Course number two, okay? Which is what we're doing teacher training for here. If we don't finish all ten classes because the old man tell too many stories, then Tim's going to figure out a way for the senior teachers to teach you the last class I'm sorry.

And I don't think I can teach without stories, okay? I'm sorry. Okay, homework number seven.

It's about Gagya. Say Gagya. So, I'll tell you a story.

Don't tell Tim, okay? So, me and John Brady, we are friends because we have similar air-conditioning, and we are working together for 30 years or something, and John's coming tonight, right?

[Speaker 2]
Tomorrow?

[Speaker 1]
Okay, tomorrow. And some of the Guadalajara group are doing this, they're continuing their advanced courses, secret courses tomorrow, and I can't talk about it, but I think we should give them a hand for me to do that. And I get to teach the first class of it tomorrow.

Where's the human dictionary? Nyalway Nyaljor. Nyalway Nyaljor.

Nyalway Nyaljor. Or you can say Nyikyi Nyaljor. Sleep yoga.

Yeah, I'm going to teach sleep yoga. I'm an expert. Okay, I'm supposed to be wasting your time with this story about Gagya.

So, sometimes I call John, let's go have dinner together and talk about our air-conditioning problem, and we will go ... I'll say, I like to impress people with my money, as you may have noticed. So, I tell John, don't worry, we're going to Cucina Rustica.

This is the most expensive restaurant in the big city of Sedona. Did you say big city? Yeah, okay.

Then, I say don't worry John, I'm paying you know, and I will get my credit card ready, put it in my pocket, then I take a shower, dress for the ... it's a bit fancy restaurant right? You've been there.

Then we have a big dinner. We eat as much as possible. Then I say, okay I'm ready John, I can pay.

I call the waiter, give me the check. I make a big ... you know.

So, I kind of impress John, you know. Then they give me the check. Then I check my pocket.

Oh my god, I changed my pants. John knows this trick, truco? I'm like, oh John look, I forgot my credit card.

Before I took the shower, I put it in the other pants. Then he knows this habit I have, my memory always fails just before the expensive dinner. Then he's always like, okay Geshe-la, I have a credit card, you know.

I'm like, don't worry I will pay next time, you know. Now, that's a kind of emptiness. In my pocket, there's emptiness.

Okay? What's missing? Credit card, okay?

So, when you say what's missing, in Buddhism that has a special name. Say Gag-ja. Gag-ja.

Gag-ja.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
So, we don't even try to translate it when we teach the class. There's a few words that you guys should probably learn in a foreign language, because the idea is so new, maybe it's better it has a new name for your students, okay? Like Nirvana, okay?

Like, we don't try to translate. We don't say, try to reach blowing out, okay? We just use the old language, you know.

So, try to learn the word gag-ja. And this is where we learn it in the ACI courses. What's missing when we talk about emptiness?

What's missing? What's not there? You want to go deeper?

Okay. Now, can you find that thing I'm going to talk about? No, it's too slow, forget it, it takes too long.

The credit card which I put in my pocket, before I took the shower, it was the worst credit card in America. It's called Discover, Discover. Anyone can get a Discover card, because the interest rate is like a hundred percent every ten minutes.

So, it's a terrible credit card. Usually poor people use it, then they get a big debt, and then their kids have to pay it. And, okay, this is my insurance policy, the very good restaurants won't accept it.

So, the credit card that I didn't have in my pocket, is not a real credit card, and it doesn't work anyway at that restaurant. Understand? The husband who's not in the kitchen, didn't exist anywhere.

The credit card I forgot to bring to dinner with JB, don't exist anyway. So, now we have a very complete emptiness of pocket. Something's missing.

[Speaker 2]
What?

[Speaker 1]
A fake credit card, that you can't use anyway, even if you didn't change your pants. Understand? The thing that emptiness is empty of, was never there anyway.

Okay? Gag ja. Gag ja.

Don't exist. Doesn't exist. Now there's a famous debate, if we don't want to finish the homeworks, let's tell John Brady stories then.

Then let's go to the monastery, talk about monastery stories. Question in the debate, in the monastery. If gag ja doesn't exist, can you think of a gag ja?

Yeah, no problem. You just did, you just thought about my discover card. So, you can think about a gag ja.

You can imagine a gag ja. Okay, I'll give you one more quick example, okay Tim? Is there an elephant in this room?

No. Is there a purple elephant that's 20 meters high with two heads in this room? Dos cabezas.

So, I gave two examples just now. First time I said, is there an elephant in this room? Then I said, is there an elephant which is 20 meters high, purple, and has two heads?

Which of those two elephants is a better example for gag ja? The second one. Why?

I love your word. Her word is great. She said, in fact I'm going to change my presentation.

She didn't say Geshe-la it's ontologically impossible, she just said impossible. So, gag ja's are impossible, but when I asked you if there was an elephant 20 meters high, purple with two heads in this room, with confidence you said no. Why?

You closed your eyes, you imagined it. So, you can imagine gag ja. You can imagine a husband in the kitchen who is ...

nah, I didn't do anything. One more time. He said he's going to give up the restaurant business.

Already three people asked him to make a I didn't do anything video. Okay, by the way, I love your coffee too. It's lucky Tara Cafe is not in your town.

They will have some tough competition. Alright, I also invested in your cafe this morning. Did you get it?

I didn't get anything. Jigme? Jigme?

What, what? Oh, she has it. Jigme lo tiene.

Okay, free investment. $1,000. Okay, just just charge it on the discover card Jigme.

No, if I'm going to try to open a coffee shop I need some steam right? So, that's real steam, that's natural, natural good steam. Okay?

Okay. Alright, so now you know gag ja. Okay, you want to go deeper?

Then don't worry, I'm going to give you a second break okay? And maybe a third break, because this is a four-hour class. I also need a break.

Okay, Tim. Okay, so there's two husbands in the kitchen. One exists through cause and effect.

If you want to make things complicated you can call it dependent origination. Okay? Which means, one husband in the kitchen exists yelling at me because I yelled at my kids last week.

This husband you can call cause and effect husband. Dependent origination husband. Does he exist?

Yeah, he exists. Is he real? Yeah, he's real.

Okay, the other one don't exist. Yeah. Since he got married to Inez, this got better and better.

I don't know why. Okay, so there's two husbands in the kitchen. One is dependent origination husband.

Who comes from the seed I planted when I yelled at my kids. That one's real. Here's something sexy, okay?

Something, the test if something is real, is can you change it by using the four steps? Can you change it by using the four steps? If you can, that thing is real.

Okay? So, there's no problem in your life which is real, that you cannot solve by just use the four steps. Cool?

If you have a problem which you cannot fix with the four steps, it's a yes, yes, yes.

[Speaker 2]
It don't exist. It doesn't exist.

[Speaker 1]
Okay, alright, got it? Alright, so there's two husbands. Now, you want to go deeper?

Okay, don't forget you agreed to go deeper. There's two perfections of wisdom. Okay?

One is to understand emptiness with bodhichitta feeling. Okay? That's bolo bolomido.

That's prajnaparamita, okay? Okay. But, for a hundred dollars, everybody's like ...

it's better than cold-pressed coffee. His cold-pressed coffee, he don't sell it in a cup, he's $100 is very similar. Ready?

Here's a $100 question. You ready Xiaoping? Okay.

Just $100, okay? Okay, now what was the question? Oh, there's two perfections of wisdom.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
One of them is to think about emptiness because you want to save all people in the universe. The other one is one of the five great subjects in the Geshe course. $100 to the person who can tell me what school of Buddhism is perfection of wisdom in the Geshe course?

Wait, I don't ever call the name because the people get angry at me. Where's Pachi? Okay Pachi, it's your thing.

No. Now, I'll clarify. There are four great schools of ancient Buddhism.

These are not the four schools of Tibet. Okay? Kagyu, Sakya, Nyingpa, Nyingmapa, Gelugpa.

These, I'm not talking about that. Those are new, those are only 1,000 years old. The ancient schools, there are four, and they connect to the subjects of the Geshe course.

I just signed certificates for teacher training number one. I guess we're going to give them out, right? Tim, any of those people, don't raise their hand right now, just tear it up right now.

We covered it in the ... okay, Pachi. Okay, okay.

Wait. Translate. Higher Middle Way?

No, no higher Middle Way. Consequence school of Middle Way. Consequence school of Middle Way.

Yeah, you are wrong, and you can't guess two times. Oh, oh I'm sorry, she's guessing. She's saying the lower Middle, lower school of the Middle Way.

Which is called what? Okay, I translated it right.

[Speaker 2]
Consequence school.

[Speaker 1]
There's some corruption going on here. Okay, one more time, one more time, let's go Mark. It's the lower Middle Way school, but what's the name of the lower?

The Sanskrit name? That's the higher school, Consequence is the higher school. By the way, we say to make it easy, we say two groups in the higher school.

Two groups, we call them groups just to make it clear. The higher group in the Middle Way school is called Consequence. What's the lower school?

It's the independent, yeah independent school. Hundred dollars? It was a slow hundred dollars.

Slow hundred dollars. Alright, so actually ACI course two is lower group of the higher school. What group is ACI course number one?

Higher Middle Way. Higher Middle Way. What group is the Lam Rim we've been studying for the last nine years?

Yeah, good. Higher Middle Way. What group is the secret teachings that are going to start tomorrow in Guadalajara, because they are the first ACI group to reach that so far?

Higher Middle Way.

[Speaker 2]
Okay.

[Speaker 1]
Why? Because the goal of the secret teachings is to become an angel yourself in this lifetime. If you were a normal person coming this way, then you cannot become an angel in this life.

Impossible. But, if you're coming from seeds, then this can change to beautiful light and live forever. If the skin, this mortal lousy Geshe-la's ...

okay, in the monastery in my secret name, not secret, everybody knows, is ... every monk has a bad nickname. Like, my friend one night in a debate, he mentioned Momo by accident.

It's like Krispy Kreme. And for 20 years people call him Krispy Kreme. Why did I talk about that?

Oh, yeah, this skin is not very nice, okay? I'd rather have a light. Immortal light.

Okay? If I'm ... if the higher Middle Way school is correct, then this coming 100% from me.

100%. Then we can do secret teaching. Then we can try to change in one life, okay?

And the structure of the secret teaching is MAS KHUL. MAS KHUL? MAS CHI LA.

Okay? Structure. Two steps.

Two stages. Creation stage. Try to meet real angels.

Second stage. Completion stage. Learn from them how to become them.

Okay? So, those are the ... I just taught you the whole structure of the secret teaching, but it's not going to work unless it is the higher group of the Middle Way school.

Because only the higher group say that this come 100% from me. Okay? And ACI course two.

Bolo Bolo Mido. Prajnaparamita. Prajnaparamita.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
It's not the highest Middle Way school. And we see that, especially when they teach Gaksha. Okay?

Because Gaksha means ... yeah, okay? Impossible thing.

So, you ready? I'm taking you to the next homework question very slowly. Okay?

In any school, in any school, the Gaksha means the opposite of dependent origination. What's dependent origination of the husband in the kitchen? He's coming from the seed I planted last week when I yelled at my kids.

Okay? But, in the lower Middle Way, in fact what makes them lower Middle Way, they have a different idea about Gaksha. And that's your next homework question.

Okay? So, they say ... ready?

And by the way, all the schools of Buddhism come from your own mind. All the mistakes of the lower schools of Buddhism come from you. Who taught the lower schools of Buddhism?

Buddha did, because he knows you're going to make the same mistakes as the lower school. So, here's the lower school. Come on you guys.

Pen don't come 100% from your mind. Husband don't come 100% from seeds that you yelled at your kids last week. They criticize the higher Middle Way.

Look, even Geshe-la, when you teach the pen, yesterday in the Nagarjuna class, different pen right? You keep talking about CHON NI GLIN NI. GLIN NI?

GLIN NI. CHON NI GLIN NI. Okay?

It means black and long. Okay? Yesterday in the Nagarjuna class, you keep talking about, oh there's a black and a long.

Then the karma seed open, and the small pen picture go to the black and the long. And the word go-er goes to Peter when the leg is a different angle. So, it's not true 100% coming from you.

Because the black and the long was there before the seed opened. Okay? So, what can we say about this black and long?

I didn't do anything. It's just a black and long. Then the seed open, and it make a pen.

Okay? I didn't make the red color and the round ... in the kitchen.

I just made what come out of the red and the round. The red and the round was in the kitchen before I came home. Then my seed open, and the red and the round start to say, you're stupid!

You're stupid! I made the words, you're stupid, by yelling at my kids. I made the content, but I didn't create the content provider.

There was a husband in the kitchen before I got home. There was a glini choni, black and long, before my seed opened. Which school is that?

Lower, middle, way. Okay? Lower, middle, way.

Okay? What's the higher middle way answer to them for $100? About the black and long, and about the red and round.

Pachi's the man. Is Pachi here? You decide.

This is how Pachi become everybody's friend. Don't give to her, she's human dictionary. But he's not even close to me.

No, okay, I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I'm kidding.

[Speaker 2]
Okay. Okay, I think that the higher school says that the things exist because you give them a name.

[Speaker 1]
Wait, wait, I didn't catch it. Say again?

[Speaker 2]
Okay, the black and the long exist because you give them a name.

[Speaker 1]
I'll give you 50 bucks for that. Either you don't understand completely, or you understand very deeply.

[Speaker 2]
The second one of course!

[Speaker 1]
Explain to me what given name means. We'll see if you get the other $50. Okay, my question is, who made the black and the long?

[Speaker 2]
Well, they're coming from your seeds, and when they come ...

[Speaker 1]
That's good, now you're up to 75. Yeah, that's all, that's all. Okay?

Let's do 100. Let's make it 100. Okay?

Okay? So, I'll repeat, okay? And this is very deep, okay?

I hold up black and long, seed opens in your mind, and pen picture is glued onto this black and long. Then, if I ask you, who made the black and long? Your mind is like a microscope, okay?

When I ask you who made the pen, the microscope setting is going down as far as pen. And you say correctly, oh, pen come from me. Pen picture come from me.

Then, in the next minute, if I ask you, who made the black and the long? Different setting, down, down, down. Then, you are not looking at pen anymore.

You are focusing on black and long. Okay? And then, that black and long is coming from your seeds, black and long seeds.

Maybe you gave somebody an old churro in your past life, and when the seed opens, it's still long, but black. Understand? Okay?

So, higher school, higher middle way, the black and long also come from me. When I take the focus down to the black and long. You can also say it a different way, okay?

The raw data for the pen also come from you, okay? But, different seeds. The raw data came from old churro giving.

The pen came from sharing communication. Okay, got it? Now, let's go deeper, and then I promise you a break.

This is a ... I don't know, Xiaoping, can I afford it? Let's do it, I might die this afternoon.

$300. Okay? $300.

Stanley suddenly woke up, he's like ... You guys have to learn to sit closer to Pachi. Okay, okay.

Buenos dias.

[Speaker 2]
Adios.

[Speaker 1]
What was the question? Oh yeah, ready? Let me get it straight on my own.

Okay, yeah, what's the Gaksha? And by the way, you have to tell me exactly correct. I'm not giving you $300, and I'm not giving you $100, and then another $50, and ...

Wait, I didn't finish the question. In the lower ... okay, in the higher middle way, the Gaksha is anything that does not come 100% from your seeds.

Now, someone give me, for $300, someone give me the Gaksha in the lower middle way school. Two things are happening right now. Someone's going to make $300, and if you give a correct answer right away, we can all go pee-pee.

So, the second part is more important. Okay, up to Pachi. Up to Pachi.

Oh, don't give ... oh, he's going to get it. Okay, so, I think Pachi has to go pee-pee.

If you give it to Jerome, he's going to answer correctly. Wait, wait, you got to kiss the microphone. Just the ACI teacher.

[Speaker 2]
So, they would say that the pen itself would be a projection, but the basis upon which you're projecting it does exist.

[Speaker 1]
Great. Okay, I'll say, I'll say what he said. In the lower middle way, wait, you're not quite done.

In the lower middle way, the real pen, okay, what's the real husband in the higher middle way? Who come 100% from me, from my seeds? Okay, what's the real pen in the lower middle way?

Kiss the microphone. The black and long which was there already, 50%. This is 50%.

Then, I came in the room, my seeds opened, and create pen from the black and the long. So, the lower middle way school can be called the 50-50 school. Watch, watch.

They meet here. Here's the pen, here's my seeds, and I say, hey can you just do some work? I don't have to do everything, okay?

Can you just be black and long by yourself? Okay, I can do. Si, si.

Then 50% come here. Then my pen seed open, and they meet in the middle, okay? He does 50% of the work, I do 50% of the work.

Therefore, something which is dependent origination, yeah, in the lower middle way school, something which is really real, has to be 50-50, okay? I didn't make the black and the long. My husband was in the kitchen before I came home, okay?

I just interpret him, okay? So, actually the answer you gave me was about 150, you were 50-50, okay? What you described to me, was dependent origination in the lower middle way school.

Now, someone ... I said the basis was there, I said the basis was there in your projection. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

Andriana did a good thing this morning. Why Geshe-la has so much energy? After no sleep, she promised me pancakes for lunch, okay?

I didn't have pancake this week, okay? Why am I talking about that? You gave me dependent origination, but I asked for the Gagya, so just flip the pancake.

[Speaker 2]
The Gagya is the long and black that couldn't come from anywhere other than your own sense.

[Speaker 1]
Good, nice, okay? Gagya is of any pen, or any husband in the universe, which is not 50-50. Half come this way, half come this way.

Everything else is a discover credit card. It looks real, but it's not. Got it?

You okay? I'll say it one more time. In the higher middle way school, 100% of the pen comes from my seed, including the black and long, the raw data.

In the higher middle way, the husband who was in the kitchen before he started yelling, it also comes from me. In the lower middle way, the real pen is the 50-50 pen. Half come this way.

The black and the long, and then half come from me. The pen. Pen picture.

Okay? Got it? So, in the lower middle way, reality is 50-50.

There's stuff, colors, shapes, sounds from the stage, then your mind interprets. Your mind organized everything. Okay?

Some people hear nice music, some people say no, it was lousy music. Okay? But in the higher school, 100% come from you.

You are not interpreting the world. You are also creating the raw data which you are interpreting. You want to go deeper just before pee pee?

It's just one minute. Okay? It's just one minute.

I should give a thousand dollars but I don't have any more money. Let me say it correctly. According to the lower middle way school, the higher middle way school version of reality is the GACCHA.

Anyone who say the pen come 100% from you, is a lower school. Okay? When you are a lower school, the higher school looks lower.

Understand? What's the GACCHA in the lower middle way? Yeah, higher middle way, good!

Who said that? Who said that? Man, you deserve money but I don't have any.

Okay, take a break. Alright, so everybody heard this word maya, maya. Illusion, you know?

And then Buddhism sometimes say everything is illusion. Everything is maya. Then I really honestly don't know why, but the Buddha's mother also called maya.

Her name is maya. So, the word illusion is very important. And you know Buddhism started two and a half thousand years ago.

It went to many many countries, like just the people in this room. If you go back to your home place and you explain what I said this morning, or especially if you explain the Nagarjuna class, we're going to create 100 new schools of Buddhism. Some of them will be correct.

Understand what I mean? And some of them will be really crazy.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
So, one of the most crazy schools that came by accident, by accident, the person went for PB in the middle of the explanation. Then when they taught it at their home, it got really confused. So, that person who went PB during the talk, especially Nagarjuna, they went home, somebody asked them what's illusion?

And they said your husband is illusion. I remember Geshe-la said, your husband don't even exist. Therefore, if you want to buy some new clothes and don't tell him, it's okay.

He don't even exist. He's illusion. Okay?

So, that's what illusion doesn't mean. For a hundred dollars, we're going to discuss illusion in the higher middle way, and we're going to discuss illusion in the lower middle way for a hundred dollars. You ready Pachi?

Somebody tell me what's illusion in the higher middle way? Where's the illusion in the kitchen? It's Pachi, it's on Pachi.

[Speaker 2]
The illusion in the kitchen is thinking that your husband comes from its own time. The I didn't do anything husband.

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, okay. I'll give you a hundred. This is from Hector actually.

Okay, listen. Definition of illusion. It looks one way, but it's not that way.

In English we have a word discrepancy. So, the way it looks and the way it is, don't match. They're not the same.

Like someone gave me a cup of, you know, some brown liquid. Then I'm thinking, oh you know this is Tara excellent cappuccino, you know. Okay, again I'm an investor okay, I'm just telling you.

So, my expectation is a rich delicious taste. Then I'm talking to somebody, you know, and I'm drinking it's chai. Okay, so there's a discrepancy between what I expect and what I experience.

By the way, it's not actually chai, but I'm just giving you an example. They don't match. It's almost like the definition of a blind date.

Okay, your friends, you're looking for a partner, and your friend says, oh man I got this boy for you. Handsome, strong, intelligent, compassionate. Aisha's like, you're describing Anatole.

Then, you know, you go to the person's house, you knock on the door for the date, and you open the ... he opened the door and he's like ... Then you're like, it's the guy here, you know?

Yeah, that's me. Then you're like, wow, that was an illusion. You know, what my friend told me and what I see in the door don't match, you know?

Okay? So, that was a pretty good answer. Alexa's version of illusion.

I'm expecting a husband who decided to yell at me, but then I go to the Primavera five-day, six-day program, and I find out he's coming from me. So, what I expected and what is real, they're not the same, they don't match. That's the definition of maya, illusion.

Okay? What maya doesn't mean. Oh, I go home, I open the kitchen door, suddenly I go into the void.

The room is moving like that, you know? My husband is flirting. Nothing's real.

Okay? Forget that one. That's not maya.

Okay? The worst maya. Oh, my husband don't exist.

Now I can kiss the cute guy at work. Okay, that's the immorality maya. Oh, nothing matters.

Everything's an illusion. I can kiss every handsome, every guapa at work. Guapo?

Guapo. Okay, good. Now, I still have $100 left, and in English we say it's burning a hole in my pocket.

I gotta get rid of this thing. I gotta reach emptiness. Okay, vacuidad.

So, here we go. I'm going to teach a kind of illusion, which is the lower middle ways illusion. There's going to be three parts in this illusion, and who can tell me all three correctly makes $100.

Then my plane will be very light, and it will fly better. Okay, so here we go. And, you know, I went to India when I was 19 I think.

20, 20. It was hard, really really hard. I got sick a whole time, like permanent diarrhea.

Then me and my friend, I went with a ... I was in a band with another guy. We decided to go to India, you know.

We will study music in India. Then one day we decided, let's go see Tibet, Tibet. And, we just keep taking bus, bus, bus, bus up the mountains, you know.

Those bus ride is like 10 hours, and you only go 20 kilometers, you know. And, it's all on the ... very dangerous on these cliffs, you know, up the Himalaya.

And, you can see many of the buses before that fell down. Everyone died. And, you're like, Om Mani Padme Hum.

So, then we made a big mistake. At the bus station, we ate pakora, deep-fried dessert or something like that. Like churro, like churro.

But, they didn't change the oil for six years, okay. So, we eat the pakora, you know. Then we get on the 10-hour bus ride, and we're like, you know, super diarrhea.

Then, they stop like every two hours or something. The men pee-pee and poo-poo on this side of the bus, and the women pee-pee and poo-poo on that side of the bus, on the ground, on the ground, okay. Then after like 50 kilometers, we ran out of toilet paper.

So, you know, I'm out in the field, and I'm like, I'll just use this leaf from this plant, you know. I'm like, pick the leaf. Then I find out it has a small spine on the border.

Oh man, I suffered so much. Then finally, we reach a small village. But, by the way, when we reached the border of Tibet, the army grabbed us and forced us to go back.

But, the last, I think, I think the last day, we came to a small village. They don't have TV. They don't have electricity.

So, they have walking entertainers. They walk from village to village. They will do like juggling, you know, or they will sing some songs.

Then, sometimes you meet a magician, and they are actually pretty cool. So, they have a ... it's called du, du.

Du means a small stick like this, and they will hold up the stick. All the village people know, oh he's a magician, he has a du. He has a du.

So, people will come pretty fast. The little kids come first. They know what's a du, you know.

This is entertainment in this small village. So, everyone go around the magician, and I saw one. They're amazing.

I saw it with the spike leaf butt. I'm like ... I'm watching, but not too comfortable.

And he's talking, he has a du, you know. Then he has a small bag, cloth bag, and he pour out some powder, and he goes like, like that. In your tradition, abracadabra, the same ...

that's the original meaning of mantra. Magic word, abracadabra. Then he throw the du on the ground.

The powder touch all the people. Maybe it's cocaine, I don't know. Then it touch everybody.

Then he throw the du on the ground, and you can see a wild elephant. Then everybody's like ... then everybody runs away, you know.

And then they come back, they're scared, but the elephant's like ... and slowly everybody comes back, and they're like, wow. It's an illusion, it's a real illusion.

Then it makes a lot of noise, everyone's screaming, you know. So, more people come, and they're like, what's going on? What's going on?

And everybody's like, oh it's an elephant, be careful. It was a du, now it's an elephant. You know, they're like ...

it's just a stick on the ground, because they didn't get the cocaine. So, they came later, okay? And they're confused, they ask those people, oh, there's just a stick on the ground.

It's just a du on the ground, it's not an elephant. Okay? So, we got three people in this story, and I saw it, and it's pretty real, it seemed pretty real.

Okay? So, number one, we have the magician, okay? And what's his relationship to the elephant?

Number two, we have the people who got the cocaine blessing. Now, someone's going to cut that out and put it on the internet. So, we have the people who see the elephant.

Then, we have the people who come later, and they're like, it's just a stick. Okay, for a hundred dollars. Okay, listening?

One of those three people, okay? Magician, spectator, and late comer. Magician, spectator, and late comer.

One of them is like the person who never saw emptiness directly. One of them is like a bodhisattva, who did see emptiness directly before, but now it's the next day, and what they see is not ... they're not seeing emptiness directly.

One of those three, is in the direct perception of emptiness now. But, pero, they are not a Buddha. Okay?

So, non-Buddha, who's in the direct perception of emptiness. Now, so I gave you three people in the magic show. Magician, cocaine blessed spectator, and the late comer.

Person who never saw emptiness at all. People who saw it, but they're not seeing it now. And, person who's in the ...

what did I say? In the direct perception of emptiness now. Right?

For $100, give me the connections. Pachi, you got a lot of choice. Where's Pachi?

Oh, I thought you just took off with the money.

[Speaker 2]
Okay.

[Speaker 1]
Okay, go slow, go slow. Okay? And by the way, it has to be perfect.

I'm not giving $33 or anything like that. And if you don't get it correct, somebody else can try. Go slow, relax, it's a lot of money.

The magician is the one who already perceives emptiness. Wait, does the magician see the illusion? She says, yes, well, he doesn't see it directly, but he understands what is going on.

Okay, that's the next one. I heard cocaine. She said, the one that are in the illusion of the cocaine, and they are in the direct perception of the emptiness, she said.

Okay, okay. They are the ones who had the experience, but they don't know yet exactly what's going on. Okay, somebody else, somebody else, let's go.

But, thank you for trying. The first part was very good. Okay, let's go, let's go.

Okay, go slow, take it easy. You're going to make more money. Okay.

If you give super explanation, I'll throw in another $20 that I got from hustle.

[Speaker 2]
Okay, so, the magician is the one that already saw emptiness, but at the moment he's not seeing it, but he understands the process of seeing it.

[Speaker 1]
So, that's what he's throwing out, the dust. Okay, let's repeat. So, for example, a bodhisattva that saw emptiness directly yesterday, today, it can still appear to them that my husband, he called me stupid, I didn't do anything.

It can still, they can still think like that. I'm sorry, the husband can still appear this way, but they don't believe it. The magician sees the elephant, but they know it's fake.

Why do they see the elephant? Yeah, when they threw the cocaine some came, some came this way. Really, really, okay.

Okay, second one. So far you got $33.

[Speaker 2]
Okay, so, the common people who have never perceived emptiness and think that the elephant is real are the people who are watching the show.

[Speaker 1]
I'm sorry, I missed that word. In English again? You want to say English?

Why don't you say it in English? Oh, okay. So, what she said.

What she said is like, the people who haven't perceived emptiness directly yet, and they don't know what's going on, they think the elephant is real, are the generalized spectators. Who got the cocaine or didn't get the cocaine?

[Speaker 2]
Yeah, who got the cocaine.

[Speaker 1]
Okay, good. Okay, yeah, you're up to $66. Okay, $67.

[Speaker 2]
And then the one who has seen emptiness and understands what's going on is the last person who came in to the show, or to see what was going on, and saw the stick on the floor.

[Speaker 1]
Can you say again please?

[Speaker 2]
The person who knows that it's, I mean, who has seen the emptiness and understands what's going on is the last person who came, the one that didn't get the powder.

[Speaker 1]
Wait, your third choice, your third choice of people, is the person who is right now seeing emptiness directly. Okay. So, say, tell me that way.

[Speaker 2]
Yes, the last person who came in and didn't get the cocaine powder and saw the stick on the floor.

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, they are like the person ... who is seeing emptiness at the moment. Who is seeing emptiness right now.

They don't see any illusion. Okay, now, we're not finished with you. So, we had the definition of illusion in the Higher Middle Way School.

Illusion means discrepancy. The way it appears and the way it really is don't match. In the Higher Middle Way School, the husband actually coming from mine yelled at the kids yesterday, but it looks like the husband decided to yell at me, and it don't match.

That's the illusion in the kitchen for the Higher Middle Way School. I'll say it again. In the Higher Middle Way School, in the kitchen, what doesn't match, it looks like the husband was hungry, he was tired, he had a bad day at work, and that's why he's yelling at me.

But, actually, he comes from my seed from yelling at the kids yesterday. So, the way he appears, oh, he's yelling, he's yelling because he's hungry, he's tired. The appearance and the reality, he's coming from your seeds from yelling at the kids yesterday, they don't match.

That not matching is the Higher School illusion. So, if you want this extra $20 from Mr. Hustle, I want to know in the Lower School, Lower Middle Way, what's the illusion? What don't match?

Now, when you tell me the answer, this is the format, you have to go like this, it looks like ... blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah Forget the village.

Go forget the village. If, if, if your friend is upset with their husband, if your friend, if your friend is having a fight with their husband, and they say, you say, well, why are you so upset? You know, I open the door, you start to call me, you start to call me stupid.

Now listen, okay? If you are lower way, middle way person, let's first, let's do higher middle way person. I'm helping you.

I expect ten. If you're a higher middle way school, and your friend is upset at his husband, and you say, oh my husband is yelling at me. Listen, it's just an illusion.

It's not real. It looks like ... now here comes the important word, I'm giving you a clue.

It looks like he come 100% from his side. But actually, he come 100% from your side. So, it's illusion.

Now, if I only went to ACI course two, and I didn't go to ACI course one, and my friend come to me, my husband is fighting with me. Oh, you're having a fight with your husband? Yeah, yeah.

Listen, it's just illusion.

[Speaker 2]
It's 50% coming from him and 50% coming from me.

[Speaker 1]
Yay! Okay, good, relax. Now you're rich.

You're rich and I'm very light. Okay, yeah, listen, you know, it's an illusion. I mean, it's true he was tired, and he didn't have enough dinner, and he had a bad day at work.

You know, that's true. That's what was in the kitchen when you got home. But, you know, 50% of the problem come from you.

I know you have this bad habit, you're yelling at your kids. So, I would say your marriage problem. It's not ...

it's an illusion if you think it's a hundred percent coming from your husband. That's an illusion. 50% coming from you.

Okay, so try to fix the 50%. Okay, understand? That's a lower middle way.

Let's go to the higher middle way. I don't know what's going on, my husband is always ... No, listen, I'll tell you what's going on.

You know, some marriage counselor, they will tell you, you know, 50% coming, his problem, 50% your problem. Some marriage counselor will say that. But, they are lower middle way.

I'm a higher middle way marriage counselor. It's 100% your fault. But, don't feel bad.

Okay, why? Yeah, you have 100% power to fix it. Okay, okay, if the lower middle way school is right, it's a 50% chance of divorce.

If the higher middle way school is right, it's a 0% chance of divorce. And understand? Okay.

Ah, we finished one homework question. Dang. Oh no, we finished the whole homework.

Team!

[Speaker 2]
Yay!

[Speaker 1]
Class is done!
