My name is Fernanda Jimenez and I have the great honor of being your host this time. My role is to support the production of the next event coming soon in Mexico City, so I hope to see you all there. Today we are beginning the class with the Wheel of Life, a class that offers deep wisdom and practical tools to transform your life.

Our teacher is Sugeng Shi, and he has a lot of experience in this book. He will help us with insight that will help us to use it in our lives, to improve in our professional life, in our relationships, in our lifestyle, health, so I know that you're going to love what's coming ahead. So help me to welcome with joy and gratitude our teacher Sugeng.

Hey everybody, welcome to Xuanzang's Tower. I'm just saying hi. I think Diamond Mountain is going to, or our hosts in this ACI event are going to make some announcements.

Okay, hello, stop talking Singapore. Okay, first I have to do advertising, okay. Do you know I don't get a commission?

I just do this all the time. Okay, go. Oh, there's a project called Sky Harvest, and I'm going to explain to you what they do, okay.

You can see the stupa, and maybe you see those handsome and beautiful people standing under the stupa. Maybe you recognize them. It's a great, it's a great, great picture by Gina Rivera.

Thank you, as usual. And the highway, you came here from Tucson, that highway used to be a railroad a long time ago, old railroad train, and they used to pick up cows and take them to Chicago and kill them before refrigerators, because that way, the cow was very popular food, because you kill it when it gets to Chicago, and you don't need refrigerator, you know. Why people put so many spices on meat is because usually it's spoiled by the time you buy it in that time.

So all this French cooking, blah, blah, is just to disguise the dead meat, which already is rotten, seriously. So anyway, this was a big cattle growing area, and the train goes through here on the highway, the same roadbed is the highway, now it's highway 10 from Tucson. Why I'm saying that, the railroad needed wood, they needed to put wood in the railroad, so this diamond mountain used to have, covered by oak trees, we call live oak, live oak means they don't lose their leaves in the wintertime, and they take about, I don't know, 100 years to grow something, and very beautiful.

When I did my three-year retreat, we were in a live oak forest in the desert, and it's very beautiful. So they cut every single tree, they didn't, there's like one, if you walk behind the lama house, there's one left. So they did this gift for us.

We are also doing this gift for the next generation with the oil, we are using it up, and I don't know what they will have. I bet they could burn our garbage. Anyway, so anyway, we have a dream to to replant the trees and bring the trees back, and it's a long-term dream, it's a couple, it will take two or three generations to finish, and I raised a hundred and ten thousand dollars about five years ago, something, I don't remember, and I want to just tell you what we did, okay, and we did spend the money, okay, I got a new car, no, just kidding, just kidding, okay. So you see here what happened to the, that mountain, by the way, that's one of the mountains where the Dunhuang West Caves will be. Up on the upper right, you see a sort of a sharp point, that's a stone, that part is all stone, very good place to drill a cave, okay, so, so, but there's no trees there, they're all cut down.

So we raised a hundred ten thousand dollars, maybe some of you online were, were there, maybe you helped, and I, I feel responsible to tell you what happened with your money, okay, that's my job, like the stupa from Malaysia, okay, there's the stupa, okay, and that's how we spent the money, and that stupa is made from a marble which was carved from a mountain, this, under this mountain on the left is marble, and it goes down 800 meters, and it's very, very amazing marble, it's beautiful, it's, there's only one or two places in the United States, by coincidence, it's under Diamond Mountain's neighbor, okay, and so we've been building the stupas and using this marble, the marble goes to Portugal to a laser company and comes back as a stupa, and then they put it together, okay, they did a great job. So anyway, there's what it looks like now, next picture, the, the hundred thousand dollars, we hired people, we, we had many, many, many volunteers, we had many, many workers, they cooked themselves at Diamond Mountain, and they froze themselves at Diamond Mountain, and they made Water Catchment Dam, so this is a rock dam, it's made from the local rocks, so we don't make cement, we don't, cement requires a lot of pollution, making cement is one of the highest sources of pollution in the world, so we use our own rock and we make dams, dam slows down the water when it rains, and then the rain water sinks into the ground, and then trees will grow, you see, so before you plant trees, you have to plant water, so we have a big, big project to catch the water with dams and make the water table higher, so the trees will survive, okay, next picture, there's another rock dam that, you'll see them if you walk around, you can see them, okay, that's your hundred thousand dollars, okay, it's not a new car, all right, next, there's another rock dam, Cat Air Horn Venerable Cutting worked very hard with this team, and they did a really good job, okay, next picture, oh yeah, so you can see how the rain, no, last picture, you can see how the rain water slows down, no, last picture, yeah, and it slows down and it sinks into the ground, and then trees will grow, next picture, this is some of the team, we had several teams, and it's very hard work to carry rocks in this weather, in the sunlight here, in fact, the prisoners in Arizona used to do this work, so the prisoners at Diamond Mountain, they do this work, okay, next picture, we have a wonderful thing, we got a donation from Bowie, Arizona, the local town, and a nun who did two three-year retreats here, she passed away, she owned this building, and she donated it to Sky Harvest, and they fixed it up, and it looks so nice, okay, yay, this is a thing called a seed ball, you take a local mud, and you wrap seeds in it, and you make a ball like that, and it's very, very fun, I use them in my garden, and you stand on the front door, and you throw them, and then they just survive, they survive, the mud breaks down, you put some good stuff in the mud, and then the flowers grow, and it's a very, very fantastic way to grow more flowers, so we're going to start with, you can't start with trees, trees depend on other plants, so we'll start with flowers, and special grasses, and things like that, so these guys are making seed balls, okay, next picture, there's the seed ball team, okay, their kitchen here is vegetarian, it's not spaghetti meatball, okay, next picture, look, the flowers are growing, okay, now listen, you people from Germany, I met somebody from Hamburg this afternoon, we don't have these big, sexy, beautiful flowers, okay, we have desert flowers, and they are small, and more beautiful, okay, so that's, for the desert, this is really, really great progress, and that's how we use the money, okay, next, part of this project is to, when you have trees, when you have more flowers, when you have more bushes, the animals will come back, and if you're in the retreat valley this morning, and you heard, it was not Rob Haggerty, it was a turkey, and you can recognize the, there's two kinds of turkeys, one escaped from the turkey farm, they have red neck, and then the natural turkey who grew up here, the wild turkey has a blue neck, okay, blue head, and we had, they came back, they came back, because of the hard work of Kat and these guys, okay, and we never had them before, I've been here for 20, 22 years, we never had one, now they're coming back, so we're having progress, okay, but it will take a long time more, and it will take money, so we had a cool idea, Janice and Alex Roland, I don't know whose idea it was, I'll take credit, which is what I usually do, but where I said, can you go to the marble quarry, and get some marble, and try to make rosary, try to make a mala, try to find somebody in China, or someplace who can make beads from diamond mountain marble, and that's it, okay, and it took like, I don't know, three years, we had many, many failures, okay, the diamond mountain marble, and the five houses people are very hard-headed, so the, apparently the stone is extremely hard, and the guy, the first guy we hired, he quit, he said, your marble's too hard, probably your people have hard heads, something, so anyway, we made them, I'm gonna, I asked them to get me a couple hundred to give away as gifts to my students and friends, but right now, they're, if you can, if you would like to donate a thousand dollars to their project, and they'll give you one of these guys, and it's a special way to carry diamond mountain with you, okay, if I'm you, I will wait a little while, get cheaper, okay, okay, but if you have any, if you have, if it's comfortable for you, buy one, they ran out of the money, now we have to start again, and it's going to take, it'll take 30, 40 years to plant all the trees, okay, we're just starting, limited edition, you can say I got the first one, okay, all right, let's go to Master Vasubandhu, whose is this, Ron? Master Sugeng is going to introduce his book, he's a translator from Singapore, Indonesia, and go, this is a book about the will of life, wait, his mic is, this is, it's on, okay, you can hear me, so this is a book about the will of life, and it's the second book on the topic, the first book was, it's available, if you want to read, you can join the good night book club, and you will receive the book in paperback, so if you have not joined the good night book club, you can approach Lindsay here, yay, and hopefully she has the book for you to take now, by the way, if you join the good, I, I send out a daily newsletter, every day, with sexy photos, guess who was in yesterday's photos, you guys, if you didn't, you didn't get a commission, I'm sorry, but I send out every day, you know, what we're working on, and every day I send out fresh translations, and so if you join up, you'll get that every day from grandpa, okay, yeah, and those are very precious information every day, so I hope to see everybody in the mailing list, and so we have completed this book, and now we're on the second book, on the same topic, and it's getting, it's getting very, very fun now, especially because the author is Master Vasubandhu, Master Vasubandhu, and he used, he is a very serious guy in the Abhidhamma kosha, but now coming into the, oh, do I have to speak slowly, yeah, okay, there's other translators, okay, so when we come to this second book, we can feel that Master Vasubandhu is very excited, I guess, because this is his area, which is mine only, and he was like challenging every aspect of the will of life that we have, we have, we thought that we have known, so he was actually drilling in very, very deeply into all topics, and I find it very fascinating that we can get to go much, much deeper, so now we are on the transition between second, third, and fourth link, and third link is about consciousness, and because he's a mind-only person, his, this chapter is especially long, it's longer than the rest, and there are a lot of discussions that we are having now, including the topic about, if you have taken part in the Arya Nagarjuna's teaching on emptiness, you might, you will remember we talked about the cause and effect, and we need both to ascertain that cause, something causes another thing, right, but when the result appears, the cause might have gone away, so how do we, how can we, how will we know that that is the cause, and we are in this area now, we are in this topic now, and the answer is kind of interesting, that we are going to cover in the homework of today. Ew, homework. Okay, so I think I thought I was finished with homework in high school.

This is exciting, I hope. All right, so there are a few questions that I pick up, and I think can be a good review. So, according to Master Vasubandhu, why do we still see people who are blind, deaf, etc?

So, the topic on, we are talking about the fresh karma, creating consciousness, and then triggering consciousness on as the third link, and then consciousness triggers the fourth link, which is the body and mind. So, if that is the case, where is the broken piece that we still see people who are incomplete, blind, deaf, etc? So, does anybody remember why some people cannot see?

Why some people cannot hear? Why? See it.

But in this school? In this school, yeah. Remember, we are in the wheel of life, which is the mind only.

No, I think we put it under the lower middle way. Right, so how should you, how will you answer this question? So, how will the consciousness, consciousness as link number three, is triggered by link number two?

And this should give you that clue. What is link number two? Fresh karma.

Yeah, so yeah, let's take a look. By the way, fresh karma is like the seed ball when you throw it. But it takes time for the plant to come out.

That's link number ten. Link number two is fresh karma. So, yeah, the answer is that because not all six consciousness cross to the next link, not all the six consciousness in link number three cross to link number four.

And this is because the raw karma from the second link will create the corresponding details for link number three. So, the answer is seeds, but this is how we explain in the wheel of life context. So, does that mean the seed is defective?

It's not about the seeds is defective, but the seeds are incomplete, I would say. Okay. Yeah, the conditions, the details are incomplete.

Okay. Yeah. The next one.

By the way, lower middle way school would say that what you're seeing does exist down there from its own side. From its own side, they would say that. Yeah, and we use the term 50-50, if you remember.

Yeah. Yeah. Okay, what was the reason given by Master Vasubandhu about results that can still come from all karmas done in the past and disappear?

So, this is the result caused by the result caused by the cause which has already disappeared when this result appeared. Jacqueline. How can a cause which has disappeared make a result?

[Speaker 3]
You said that old karmas are like smeared in the mind stream the same way, like if you leave incense in a bag and you take the incense out, the bag still smells.

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, you are jumping to the next one, but that's valid. That's correct. So, basically what you're saying is that, and I like, so basically the answer is that your position of that karma is gone, but the fact that it is, but the fact of it is established.

And do you remember what joke Geshe Michael gave when we came to this part? I think I can offer a hundred dollars. Wait, the joke must be complete.

Are you talking Singapore dollars? US dollars. My boss is here.

No, no, no. It has to be the same joke that Geshe Michael cracked at this point of time. So, it's not about the joke, the dog farting thing.

Anything else? Tim? No, not about the sushi.

What did the sushi say to the bee? I give you a clue. Wasabi.

I give you a clue. I give you a clue. You want clue?

It's related to death. Ew. It's related to death.

Nobody remember? Death. Harry.

He changed his name to Harry Potter. Oh, Harry Potter.

[Speaker 3]
He just went up to the head. Jimi Hendrix didn't die. He just went up to teach the Buddha.

[Speaker 1]
It's incorrect, but I think I can still give you $50.

[Speaker 3]
$50.

[Speaker 1]
Okay. Okay, cancel. Oh, okay.

Wynn Pham. Last one. Okay.

After that, I'll cancel the bet. All right. Ms. Wynn, come on, come on.

[Speaker 3]
I remember that seat open carry sales.

[Speaker 1]
No. Okay. Cancel the bet.

So, Geshe Michael cracked the joke. He said that if you want to be permanent, you read here, the karma is gone, but the fact of the karma which has gone is as a bliss. So, if you want to be permanent, if you want to be remembered forever, you just have to die, and the fact that you die is permanent.

I'm sorry. It's a cool joke, but I remember that. Okay.

If Geshe Michael said it, it must be good. Anyway, let's continue. Okay.

Okay. What was the reason provided by the conqueror for the fact that once people committed... Oh, but this is...

Jacqueline has answered this. So, basically, we are talking about the smearing. Okay.

So, all right. And then...

[Speaker 3]
Oh, yeah. Wait.

[Speaker 1]
What's the classical example, Sugeng? Oh, yeah.

[Speaker 3]
We have it here.

[Speaker 1]
Of how karma seed smears on the mind. Or we talk about... Metaphor from Word's book.

That we had... Press on the back? That we had...

Incense in a cloth bag. Then, when you put incense in a cloth bag, and then you take the incense out, the smell stays in the cloth bag, and that's how seeds are smeared on the mind. Okay.

Same verb in the ancient language. The smell smears on the cloth.

[Speaker 3]
Okay.

[Speaker 1]
All right. Some vocabulary. Oh, the specifics, right?

The details. Establish. Did he see the homework before?

He's an expert. Yeah. This is related to our topic yesterday, right?

How would you say it in Sanskrit? A-si-ma.

[Speaker 3]
Si-ma.

[Speaker 1]
No. A-si-ma. A-si-ma.

A-si-ma. Yeah. A-si-ma.

All right. A-si-ma. A-si-ma.

A-si-ma. All right. Let me move on to the student's translation.

By the way, okay, here's the... what section we're on, okay? We are studying the Wheel of Life.

It has 12 links. Link number two is fresh karma. Link number three is your mind as it's about to enter your mom.

Okay. And then the question is, how can that karma help your mind to go into your mom's womb? That's the question.

Because most people say when you see a pizza, then consciousness arises. You see what I mean? Most people say, scientists say, when the object...

when you hold up the object, that triggers a consciousness in the person's mind. And they say consciousness comes from the appearance of the object, okay? Then a lot of Buddhists also say that.

And the Wheel of Life people say, no, no, no. That consciousness comes from raw karma in your mind. Okay, so actually when you see a pizza, the awareness of the pizza was not created by the pizza.

It was coming from a seed in your mind. That's the Wheel of Life. That's the link two to link three.

That connection is this theory that the reason you see a pizza is not because someone brought a pizza into the room, which people don't do enough. It's because you have a seed in your mind, and that triggered the consciousness. You see what I mean?

So the Wheel of Life contradicts what most people think. Okay, cool. All right, let's go.

Okay, we're still on your... yeah, go ahead. DE YOD PA YANG LAS KYIS DRE BU MA CIN PA CIN PA'I PHYIR YOD PA YIN NO ZHES BSTAN TE Yeah, DE YOD PA means what, Sugeng?

There is an indication. Yeah, that thing is there. That thing is there.

Then LAS KYIS DRE BU? The result of karma. Yeah, MA CIN.

CIN is the past tense of gave. It has not given? Yeah, it hasn't given it.

And because of that, YOD PA YIN NO. It is still there. There is a fact.

There is a fact. Yeah, okay. All right, cool.

Let me see the translation. It is indicating the fact that karmic seed is something that exists because it has not yet issued its karmic result. Okay.

We were having some discussion about where does this quotation come from, and who says it? Yeah, and I have to say, okay, for you new people, Sugeng translated a difficult book on the Wheel of Life, which has never been translated, and he finished it, and you can get it, and it's a beautiful book. It's an important book.

Then we found an old book, 2,000 years old, and it's a deeper presentation of the Wheel of Life, but it was missing, so there's no explanation, there's no commentary, there's no second copy. There's one copy, and the manuscript is very old, 2,000 years old. What does Geshe-la do usually at this point?

Go to the database. One Dr. Prela with a short assault of the Dr. Meier's affairs at the Rottenbad and everyviennenswisslokur, a witch being doing neanderthal is the floor. What language?

Old English. English.

[Speaker 3]
Oh, really?

[Speaker 1]
No, only 500 years old. Now, five times older, four times older. That language is very difficult, so we don't have, we are attempting the impossible.

We're trying to translate something which was missing for 2,000 years, and there's no way to check anything because it's the only copy. It's very cool, very fun. Okay, all right, cool.

So, do we know or we just leave it there for now? Oh, and what Sugeng is saying is that it sounds like a quotation from another book. This is a quotation from a book that existed when?

2,000 years ago. And we are missing, like the Sanskrit, we are missing, Aisha tries to find it. We're missing 90% of the Sanskrit, so we're missing these books.

It's hard to find them. We have a database, we have searchable database, we have AI for 37 years, but sometimes it's just gone. Why do they call Nagarjuna Nagarjuna?

Yeah, he knows how to talk to dragons. Naga means dragon, and dragons like to keep precious things, like books. So, he's called Nagarjuna because he was the, he could negotiate very well with the Nagas, and he brought many books back, but we're still missing most of them.

He's asking me, can we look for it? You can look for it, and you might find something and you might not. If you can, it's really helpful.

Okay, next. ,DE LAS SBYUNG BA'I DRE BU MIN PA NUS PA MA BYAS PA NYID YIN PAS PHYIR RO, Yeah. ,DE LAS SBYUNG, past tense.

Because of... Which came from it. Which came from it.

Yeah, DRE BU, DRE BU. Other result. Yeah, MIN PA.

The ripening.

[Speaker 3]
Ripening.

[Speaker 1]
NUS PA Power. Good. MA BYAS PA NYID It cannot?

Yeah, it hasn't acted at all. NYID Okay. It hasn't, the seed hasn't ripened at all yet.

A result has not cooked forth. The ancient word for MIN PA in Sanskrit, PA BYAS TE, which comes from... Well, there's a...

What's the Spanish word for kitchen? Cocina. Yeah, PAK VE.

The root is PAK VE, and it means, it came into cocina. Okay. All right.

It means the karma has to cocina. Okay, seriously, same root, same root. Same word.

[Speaker 3]
From MIN PA?

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, yeah.

[Speaker 3]
Oh.

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, PA BYAS TE, PAK VA, which became cocina, which became cook also, which became cuisine in French.

[Speaker 3]
Should I get somebody to do it?

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, make them suffer. You, you. Oh, that's a good move.

Venerable Rinchen Hau.

[Speaker 3]
Where are we starting?

[Speaker 1]
Here, the top line.

[Speaker 3]
Yeah. Dina, where? Bring it down.

Okay. DEY TA MA YIN NE DEY DEY PA.

[Speaker 1]
Is that correct? DENG DE PA. DENG DE PA NYIN BAR.

Good. Yeah, he's got like three prenasals in a row. DENG DE PA, NYIN DU PA, NYIN DU BAR.

Okay. Makes it all present tense. So, something is DEPA.

Something is? DENG DE PA. Is it gone in this case, Keshela?

Something is gone? You could say it has already passed. It's already gone into the past.

Okay. This verb is very famous in the word, NYANG NGAN LAS DER PA. Gone to nirvana.

Gone to nirvana. DEPA NYIN. MA YIN DE DEPA NYIN YIN BAR.

DU PA MIN GYUR. If there isn't some trace of the seed, karmic seed, how can it open? Okay.

How can it open? And this is a very, very deep argument. Okay.

Can a seed exist at the same time as the tree? Yes or no? Cannot.

It turns into the tree. As soon as the tree is there, the seed is gone. Therefore, can they touch each other?

No, because they're in different times. One is in 1900, one is in 2000, right? There's a time gap.

Therefore, how can that seed be connected to that tree if they never touch each other? And why don't all seeds cause that tree? Because it also doesn't touch every other seed in the universe.

So if a seed that doesn't touch the tree could create the tree, then all seeds in the universe should create the same tree because they also don't touch it. It's crazy. Okay.

Only Nagarjuna figured it out. Okay. And we're talking not about seeds and trees.

We're talking about the next, I was almost said asshole, that you meet, coming from the seed in your mind. How's that possible? By the time he's there, the seed is gone.

Okay. That's the question we're asking here. That's what we're dealing with.

It's very beautiful. If your goal is to prevent those people, stop those people, those particular kinds of trees, you understand? That come from below.

If you want to stop them in your life, you guys learn to examine how can they grow. All right. Who's going to read the next one?

Mindy?

[Speaker 2]
DIN NAM PAR TEN LA, can you help me with that one?

[Speaker 1]
APA. APA NI PHYI NAS BYA'O Nice. Her pronunciation is quite good.

She and Sugeng have the same, his pronunciation is the best of all the translators I have to say. TEN LA BAPA or TEN LA APA, same thing. TEN LA BAPA?

Establish? Yeah, establish it. PHYI NAS, but the seed can be called a seed, only PHYI.

Only later on? Only later on. Only when you see the tree, can you use the word seed.

Only when you see the tree, can you say, ah, that thing in the weird little ball was a seed. PHYI NAS means from later. BYA'O is something you have to do.

You have to establish that a seed is a seed from the future, looking back. You have to go to the later and look backwards and say, OK, now we can call it a seed. We talked about it yesterday.

That's dependent origination in two directions. Nick usually is kind of quiet, but when there's $100 involved, and he's got to support that kid, you know, so. OK, all right.

OK, that's it. OK, good job. Let's see.

I got to go find this text. All right, I got the right text? Yes.

Do I have to share? Do I have to share, you guys? OK, who's going to read this again?

I think I'm on Zoom, you guys. OK, yep. OK, nice.

Nice pronunciation. He's got a good seed. I don't know where the seed came from.

OK, DU BYED refers to which link? Second link. Second link, fresh karma.

OK, the seed in the seed ball, before it gets wet. OK. Ken?

Condition? Yeah, that's the condition. SNYING MTSAMS SBYOR BA Crossover?

Yeah, make the crossing from past life into the next life. OK, make the crossing from this life into the next life. It's interesting that that includes the word in Sanskrit.

SEMA OK, the seed is going to the SEMA. OK, NYING MTSAMS SBYOR is a very beautiful word. It means rebirth, but the word means to cross, the heart crosses the border, crossing into a new life.

OK, MTSAMS SBYOR BA'I RNAM PAR BSHAD PA The consciousness? Yeah, consciousness. RIG PA Lucky?

Yeah, by the way, it's misspelled. It should be RIGS PA, which means logic. We should fix it while we're there.

This manuscript is so old, it has a lot of problems with it. Maybe we can find one in Dunhuang. By the way, Rosa was brave and she went to China two weeks ago, and she sold those rings and she donated $30,000 to John Brady.

To save the books at Dunhuang, to save the books in China. Very cool. PHRAD CANG PHANG OK, RGYAL BA YIN NO Contradicting?

Yeah, how can you say that a fresh karma has given birth to a consciousness, which after the crossing into a new life. OK, the karma is from the past life, right? The consciousness is in the next life.

How can you say that the seed that you collected in this life caused your mind to go into the next life? How can you say that? Why does he say that?

Because until something goes into the next life, there's no tree. Then how can you call it a karmic seed? You can't call it a seed until it makes something.

Otherwise, it's just a weird little ball. OK, got it? So this is the conclusion of this quote.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. And he says it doesn't make sense. It doesn't make sense to say that what pushes your mind into the next life is a karma.

It doesn't make sense. This is still us, right? Who it is, is the question.

I think it's the other guy. Yeah, I'm not sure. And now we have a new guy.

Who's going to read? Nice, nice reading. Yay!

She and her husband Bill went to study in Asia, and they did a good job. So again, gak chik nare. Somebody else?

Yeah, gak chik nare means, literally it means one mouth shows up. It means somebody's going to say something controversial. He says, if the...

By the way, there's two LES here. And when you teach someone else West Chinese language, it's very useful to find these places where you can illustrate the two different meanings of the same sound. OK, so here it's what?

The first one is the karma, which has passed. Yeah, and the second one, LES? From the karma.

Oh, from the karma. Yeah, so say, say, say, LES LES GCIG RTEN NA TSOG BSKYED. Yeah, everything comes from karma.

LES LES OK, it's the same word. It's the same sound. OK, here it's...

So suppose the karma has already passed into the past. OK, LES LES. SKYE BA MA YIN You can't have SKYE BA.

You can't produce? Yeah, if the seed is gone, how can you have a tree? If the seed went away already, how can you have a tree?

If a seed that went away already could make a tree, then everything would turn into a tree. Because there's lots of old seeds that disappeared already. If a disappeared seed can create a tree, then we wouldn't have to fundraise for Diamond Mountain.

Understand? OK? All right.

SKYE BA MA YIN TE Doesn't work like that. We're talking about a RGYUN. We're talking about a RGYUN.

Flow? Yeah, flow. RGYUN is the sister word of RGYUD.

Oh, mainstream. Which means stream or flow. And the Sanskrit of RGYUD is tantra.

Or you can say tantra. And so the ancient word for Diamond Way means lineage, secret lineage. RGYUN RNAM PAR BZHAG NAS You establish that there's a flow.

Flow between what? From the second link to the third link? Yeah, or the seed and the tree.

Who made the flow between the seed and the tree? Yeah, you have to imagine it. RNAM PAR BZHAG NAS So if there is a flow, it means one thing comes earlier and one thing comes later, right?

Like a stream. There's the higher part of the stream and the lower part of the stream. So when you have a flow, what happened to the earlier part of the stream?

It already went down to feed the flowers. You see what I mean? Right?

When you have a flow, the first part of the flow is usually gone. Because you're standing and looking at the second part of the flow. You're looking at the stream, right?

So he says, by the time the consciousness is ready to cross into the next line, the duje has gone. The fresh karma has stopped. Yeah, the fresh karma is gone.

It has stopped. If there's a flow from past life to future life, from this life to future life, then the fresh karma has to be gone by the time you're reborn, right? But then it can't touch the rebirth.

And if they don't touch, then pizza also causes future life. Because they also don't touch. See?

Then everything that doesn't touch would cause a future life. Got it? Very interesting question.

DE DANG RJES SU THUN PA'I DE DANG RJES SU THUN means like connected to, like pizza's not connected to your next life, but your karma is connected to your next life. Okay? RJES SU THUN PA'I RJES BU The result?

Result. GCIG One? Yeah, one result is PHANG.

PHANG PA Yeah, it's thrown into the future. This is the word that's used for throwing spears, shooting arrows, projected into the future. Yeah, okay.

PHANG PHANG NAS SA BON KYI RGYUN It's a stream of... It's a seed stream. Okay.

The idea of a stream is questionable because by the time the second half of the stream is there, the first half of the stream is gone. So you'd have to cut the first part of the... You'd have to split the stream in half.

The first half is not there. The second half is here. Then what happens?

You have to cut the second half into two halves because there's the earlier part of the second half and the later part of the second half. Right? Then you got to cut that.

Then you have to cut that. Then you have to cut that. And finally you don't find anything.

And that's GONG ZHING. What you find is GONG ZHING. Okay.

Emptiness. Okay. Cool.

All right. Next. ZHING HUI.

[Speaker 2]
Cool.

[Speaker 1]
PHYI RIM GYIS means in steps, later and later steps. PHYI with an S means later and later. In later and later steps.

Consciousness. Okay. Is born from the seed.

Okay. SABOD YANG SREG GI ZHING LA Or the consciousness plants the SABOD. Okay.

Of a YANG ZI. ZI means possible. ZI means possible.

ZI PAS KHOR LO means Wheel of Life. But YANG ZI has a different meaning. Next life.

And sometimes if there's a high Lama, you can call them DRUG KU. Or you can call them YANG ZI. And if you call them YANG ZI, they're like, Ooh, you speak real Tibetan.

You know. It means reincarnation. YANG ZI.

ZHING. Low tone. ZHING.

ZHING high tone means wood. ZHING low tone means field. ZHING ZHING ZHING LA SKYES PA CHE What the seed plants grows in the field of the next life.

Second life. Okay. The karma that's planted in the life before grows in the field of the next life.

Okay. Like that. Who's next?

I think we can help again. It was too short. Yeah, it was too short.

The whole book is too short. You should recite the whole thing. Whoa Yeah.

What's the thinking here? It means, what's the, what's the, you know, what are people thinking here? BDAG GIS MA LTOGS NA If you don't talk, with an S, realize?

Yeah, if you don't understand the thinking here, okay? If you don't understand how it works, okay? CI.

How is it? CI means how is it? What's the famous debate term?

CI PHYIR. CI PHYIR. CI PHYIR.

It means, wow! CI. SEMS PA'I RGYUN.

The stream of the thought? Yeah, the stream of the mind, okay? NAM PAR BZHAG NAS.

We say, NAM PAR BZHAG means we say. We say there's a stream of the mind. From what to what?

From past life to future life. We say there is a stream. BZHAG NAS.

But does the DU BYED RGAGS, the first karma has stopped? Yeah, when the stream reaches the next life, isn't the karma finished by then? Yes.

Right? Yes. So how can there be a stream in the next life?

There's nothing to support it, okay? DU BYED. Then RGAGS means?

R. Yeah, RGAGS. It can mean a question or it can mean R.

It is suffix dependent. It is suffix dependent. If the word before it end with G, it has to be RGAGS.

If the word before it end in R, it has to be RAM. Like that, okay? RGAGS.

Is it that the fresh karma stops or? BAG CHAGS KYI RGYEN. The flow of the seeds?

Yeah, the flow of the seed is planted in the SEMS GYI RGYEN. In the mind stream? Yeah.

Wow. That's weird. There's a stream of the mind from past life to future life, and then there's a stream in the stream of the seed going from the past life to the future life.

There has to be a mind flowing from the end of your life to the start of your next life, and that means all the seeds in your mind have to have their own little river flowing from this life to the next life. Okay, cool. Who's next?

VENERABLE KHA. I have to get closer to see. Uh-oh.

I have to really get close. Thank you.

[Speaker 3]
Wow.

[Speaker 1]
PHYIS NYE means, this NYE is short. Without the S it means close. With the S it means problem.

Okay, so PHYIS NYE. What's the problem here? Yeah, what's the problem?

You've got a SEMS PA'I RGYUN and I don't want you to say Sugeng in the translation of SEMS GYI RGYUN. Don't translate SEMS GYI RGYUN. It says SEMS PA'I RGYUN.

SEMS PA means to turn your attention to something. Okay? That's the definition of karma.

It's called movement of the mind. Movement of the mind. SEMS means mind.

SEMS PA means movement of the mind. Anytime your mind moves a quarter inch, one millimeter, anytime your mind moves that much, that is karma. That's root karma.

Then that triggers your hand to do something, or it triggers this troublemaker. Okay? But behind both of them is a movement of the mind.

Like this much, boop, boop. It's all those boops that make a big boop. Okay.

RGYUN KYANG. So he's talking about the flow of the movement of the mind, which means the flow of karma. It's very subtle.

What is raw karma? Wrong karma is thought. It's the movement of thought.

Anytime you think for more than one sixty-fifth of a second, that's karma. SEMS PA'I RGYUN YIN NA. It's LUNG MA BSTAN.

LUNG DU MA BSTAN. It's neutral? Karmically neutral.

Okay? He's talking about a flow of the mind, which is karmically... he's talking about a movement of the mind, thinking of something, but it's karmically neutral.

You're not thinking to hurt somebody. You're not thinking to help somebody. Okay?

SEMS PA'I RGYUN KYANG DE YOG TU BYUNG. What's OG mean? Below.

There's a heaven called OG MIN. Below nothing. It means highest one.

Highest heaven is called not below. So OG means below. OG, but in time, it means...

After. It means below the present moment, and it means later. So sometimes below means later.

If you're talking about a stream of consciousness, it's probably later. OG TU BYUNG, future tense. It will occur.

It will occur. Your future tense. There will be a flow of the...

there will be a neutral form of movement of the mind after that. Now, here's a big question. Hang in there.

I know it's hard, but hang in there. There's a rule about karma. Okay?

There's a rule about karma. When something comes out of karma, when something comes from karma, when it is Pachyate, when it has cooked out of karma, that thing has to be karmically neutral. It is not a good deed, and it is not a bad deed.

Okay? In the classic scriptures, something that came from karma is karmically neutral. Has to be.

Okay? It just cooked. It just cooked out.

It doesn't involve intention. Nobody said, nobody said, I'm going to go to the hell realms because I killed somebody. It's just a fact of life.

It's a truth. It's a universal truth. It's neutral.

It's not a good deed, and it's not a bad deed. Okay? So in most schools, the result of karma is karmically neutral.

It's not good. It's not bad. Okay?

So the positive negative is determined by the intention.

[Speaker 3]
Yeah. Yeah.

[Speaker 1]
You can say that. Yeah. It's very interesting.

So he says, this guy says, if there is a flow of mind, then the second half of the flow should be? Karmically neutral. It's karma, because it's semba, which means movement of the mind, because it's the second half of the flow of the mind.

But, if it's the second half, it's a result, and results are always neutral. Karmically neutral. Cool.

Like you can go to the hell realms from killing somebody, but karmically, they are neutral. Okay? The result is neutral.

The result wasn't thinking something bad. Okay? Got it?

It's very interesting. Okay? The floor is karmically neutral, because you created it.

Okay? So if there's a second half of the flow, it should be karmically neutral. Okay?

DE'I OG TU, after the first part, the rest should be karmically neutral. DBYUNG BA RGYUR, JI LTAR NA DE'I KHYEN GYIS, then how can you say, due to that khyen? Due to that condition?

Yeah. NYING MTSAMS SBYOR. Crossing over?

There's a consciousness on the other side. Okay. How can you say the consciousness at the end of your life is creating what happens after your death?

Because the consciousness at the end of your life was a karmic result of the consciousness at the earlier part of your life. Therefore, it's not active karma. Therefore, it cannot cause you to cross into a new life.

Therefore, the Wheel of Life is wrong. There's no connection between link two and link three. Okay?

I'll say it again. If link two is a neutral thing, then it can't create anything. Okay?

It won't create anything. It's not karma. If link two is part of a flow, later flow, then it's karmically neutral, and it cannot create a future result of a new life.

Cannot. That's the argument here. Okay?

It's very interesting. It's very cool. Very subtle.

NYING MTSAMS SBYOR would say, NAM PAR BSHAD PA'I YIN PAR RIG PAR GYUR. Okay? Okay, next one.

It's up? What do you mean? We just started.

[Speaker 3]
Can I continue?

[Speaker 1]
Just that Mexican guy is going to be mad. I don't know. Let's do one more sentence and see if he starts yelling.

Okay. Venerable Chönzong, please, reading the next line. Yeah, then how can you talk about sinim?

Okay, where is sinim? Sinim's name means good karma. Okay, and it was good karma that she came here, and I'd like to thank her for coming.

You are well named. Anyway, then how can there be good karma in the flow of the mind from this life to the next life? Because it's a result, and results cannot be fresh karma.

They cannot be karma. They are neutral. They cannot make a good birth or a bad birth, because they're neutral.

Results are neutral. Tables, floors, sky, and the mind at the end of life is a result. It's not thinking.

It's not doing anything. How can you say it flows? Now, in the old television days, they'd say, Ellie, tune in next time, and you'll find out the answer to Sugeng's question.

Now, Sugeng, after each first hour of translation class, then the translator will lead a 15-minute discussion. People were saying, those are nice classes, but you can't use them in your real life. So we made a special 15-minute period.

Then the translator is on the spot. The translator has to lead a discussion where people say, oh, I can use that immediately in my life. It's not a useless old book, okay?

And then Grandpa goes and watches. Thank you, Grandpa. Okay.

So ladies and gentlemen, that was the presentation from the Classic House. Now, let's hear from the representative from the Mountain House.

[Speaker 2]
Hi, everybody. Usually after the class, we try to apply those principles from these ancient books. So I have an idea, Sugeng.

Yeah, please. So here what they, I know it's a little bit difficult for some of you who are new to follow what's going on here, but actually what they discuss is like how things that we, I mean, it's true that the seed produces the tree, right? We can observe it.

Yeah, I'm planting bad seeds by speaking fast.

[Speaker 1]
I'm a translator myself, so I will slow down.

[Speaker 2]
So basically it's true that the seed produces the tree, right? But if you look in the depths, like they cannot touch each other, right? But then how it happens?

And it happens because of the seeds, right? The seed ripens, and we have a seed, the mental seed ripens, and we have a seed, and then another seed ripens, we have a small sprout, then another seed ripens, we have a big sprout, then a tree, et cetera. And it is all connected by our seeds.

So my application is actually no stress, I don't know, no stress environment.

[Speaker 1]
If you understand that there is no connection, really, between the seed and the sprout, then you should have no stress in your life.

[Speaker 2]
Really, because whatever you say, it should not produce any bad result.

[Speaker 1]
You can be honest. Because whatever will happen, happens because of something in your past. Something else, right?

Yeah.

[Speaker 2]
So, and I have a tendency to think that this, how do we call it, bead comes from this bead, and this bead comes from this bead, and this bead comes from this bead, right? But actually, somebody did a very nice job with the white lotus mala.

[Speaker 1]
Somebody in the past. So this is my application. Oh, I got it.

Thank you. Let me, that is the language from the mountain house. Let me clarify in classical language.

So what Ina is saying is that if my wife, if I feel that my wife is making me feeling stressed, right, because there is no direct connection, my wife giving me stress and me feeling stress, we are not connected. So it is impossible. Instead, the stress that I'm feeling must have come from the time when I give somebody else stress.

Can I say that? Therefore, therefore, choose the classic house. It's easier to understand.

I'm sorry. I'm just, I'm just being cheeky, okay? I'm just being naughty.

Okay, another mountain man, mountain woman. I don't know. I mean, since he raised her hand.

The mountain house needs a little bit of help of the classic house.

[Speaker 2]
If I want to go into retreat and think and meditate on that class, can you please recap for me this thing that every result is neutral karma? I don't know if I'm too tired, but I have not understood it. Please give me a hint that I can go into retreat with that, with a little bit help of the classic house.

Thank you.

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, this is a very good question. And I was surprised when I first heard about it from Geshe Michael. And how can this, how can the result of the seed be neutral?

You know, and Geshe Michael told me, this is our school's position. I say, okay, I will swallow it. But did you hear I clarified with Geshe Michael just now?

So he said that it is neutral until we give our intention to. So the result is neutral until we give the intention. So if I see something, if I think that something negative is coming, I guess the best bet is to quickly watch my intention.

If I guess that some seeds will ripen and will give me bad results, then I think the best bet is to quickly watch my intention. And hopefully that can help to sort of neutralize. In classic house term, we call it four powers, by the way.

Any representative? Yes, Brian, which house are you representing? Classics.

My question is, well, I know it's not a Q&A, but do all schools hold this position of the result being neutral? And if so, that means that if I get a rage attack out of nowhere, I'm not planting bad seeds? Okay, so there are two questions.

The first question, are all schools hold the same position? I don't know. Okay, I only know my school.

Maybe I need to learn more. And then the second question is that if I am having a rage, and what is the question? Okay, a rage attack, and then?

Or am I planting negative seeds, right? Yeah, I don't know. I would like to think that since it is a result of my seeds, and I if I don't put any bad intention to that, probably I'm not planting bad seeds.

Anybody wants to debate me? Okay, Sarah has something to say.

[Speaker 2]
But I thought that a result was also a seed. Like I thought as you plant a result, or sorry, as a result ripens, it is also at the same time the seed for the next. The next result, like I thought that's how we got into the next life.

[Speaker 1]
So is that what you're saying?

[Speaker 2]
Yeah, I how does the flow happen if my result isn't also planting a seed? Is there just where does other seeds come from?

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, I think this is very valid. And I have been thinking about this too, you know. And I guess if I can stop my negativity of the results, I think I can stop the domino effect.

I mean, let's say, let's say if my wife is shouting at me, right? I'm sorry, I just like to use my wife because because he's so cute. Let's say if my wife shout at me now, at that moment, what is my reaction?

If I reply back by shouting, then I'm planting negative seeds. But if at that moment, I keep quiet and reflect on the possibility that I must have shouted at somebody else, maybe a week ago. And this is the result then.

And if I really keep quiet and maybe not irritate her further, I guess I don't plant negative seeds. If I what? Breathe?

Then at that moment, very important for me to think that I must have continued to irritate somebody else. That's why she continued to irritate me. But guys, I tell you, this is easy to say, but difficult to practice.

You need to look at my heart. How many scars in here? No, it's scars of love, by the way.

I mean, we are married for close to 30 years. Are you from the staircase house? Yeah.

Are you Samadhi House? Samadhi House. Oh, yes, please.

Okay. Hello, world from Samadhi House. So in the past couple of days, we've been studying different practices and we're trying to plant the seeds to have the future Buddhahood.

But based on the class... Can you speak more slowly? Slowly.

Okay. So in the past few days, we've been trying to learn practices and to plant the seeds for our future Buddhahood. But based on the class today, there could not be...

Maybe there's not a correlation between the seeds I planted now and the future Buddhahood that I have. Then I think there should be another seed for that to secure the future Buddhahood while we're doing the practice. And I think it could be the understanding of the emptiness of this action.

Like while we're sitting on the toilet in the bathroom stall, while I'm inviting my future, I don't know, Buddhahood. I like this question. You know why?

The fact that the result of our seeds are neutral, it's very important for us to put in the right intention so that it will become something good that will lead to our future Buddhahood.

[Speaker 3]
Intention. Understanding.

[Speaker 1]
I like it. Thank you. Okay.

I think exactly on the dot I will invite... Where's Juan? Thank you.

Okay. Thank you very much. We have only 15 minutes and we're going to use them quickly.

And I just want to thank the translators because this, I honestly think this is the maximum test. Thank you so much. If you can hold and be alive after Pitrual News, it means you're the best.

So thank you very much. Quick, please, news. We just want to congratulate our dear friends, Cristina Kacica and Brian Mendoza because they survived one more year.

Happy birthday. And also we want to send regards because you know the Sedona College of International Management is having this new program. It's very cool.

It's called Sedona College of International Management, translators, teacher empowering program. Now they are doing their training over a month. Next picture is just quickly, quickly, super quickly.

It's crazy. Like, yeah, we send regards that way. Not so quickly.

Yeah. Just to say thank you for being part of it. You're helping the world and we appreciate it so much.

And I think it's great that now they have the chance to do it. I rejoice in you having enough time to do what you want and need. And then DSU wants to invite everyone to watch a very cool class they record with Geshe Michael.

It's about understanding and resolving conflicts. They're going to share the class on next Tuesday, April 29th. You can follow the QR code or ask later, maybe Shalpin or me, people who may have this Edmond Dinara.

We share the link, but if you can catch it now, it's a recording of a very good class that Geshe Michael taught. Understanding and resolving conflicts sounds like something super helpful to have. OK, next picture, please.

It's about the teacher training. That's these five houses foundation courses is doing. If you want to become a teacher and you have done the correct procedure, you can apply for it.

Talk to Tim Lowenhaupt. But it's about to start on May. So you can be a certified teacher as well.

And just a reminder that we have an upcoming Gbox. Paulina is here. She's hiding.

Do you want to stand up? And I'm sorry, she and Ward. Where is Ward?

I saw Ward. Oh, yeah, yeah. They are both going to be teaching the Gbox soon.

Soon. They are really good teachers. Yeah, I have listened to them both.

So I think they can actually have a chance to really have a very good class. No, just kidding. Of course they will.

And I want to invite also Ward and Kat, because they have a very exciting news about things that are happening here in Diamond Mountain. So, you know, because really time is so precious and people are needing more and more. I'm going to have to do an experiment.

I'm going to put a timer and we're going to have we're going to have four minutes to talk about your great project. Two things. Yeah.

It's next picture, please. First, Ward, because it's happening first on time. But they are both working in synergy because after this event, just maybe show quickly the poster and come back to this one.

Just. Yeah. The next one.

Quickly. Yeah. No, that one.

Yeah.

[Speaker 3]
So.

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, I'm under pressure every year. Less hair, man. I'm telling you.

I get it. I get it. I get it.

It must be a good sign. We are doing something. All right.

So what are you planning to do on September? First, September, the previous place. That's when you're going to be here and you're going to set up people for the next event that Kat is going to talk about.

OK. Thank you, Juan. So this upcoming September here at Diamond Mountain, me and a colleague and friend of mine, Chilan, are going to have a retreat about nature.

And so he's going to be teaching about connecting with the land and the energies of the land somewhat from a native perspective. He's also a Chinese medicine practitioner. He's quite good.

And he'll be sharing that. And then I'll be teaching from a Buddhist perspective about nature, which is there is none. And just talking about how we can connect with that within ourselves and how taking care of the land is such a great way to plant good seeds, to see, you know, have our realizations come come true and have our dreams come true because we all share the land.

So therefore, if we take care of the land, we are taking care of everybody. That was a very famous idea in the 70s, like connect with nature. I hear there were good times.

And then what are you going to have after that? I see you're going to have something with the creatures of the night. Sounds interesting.

What is this about?

[Speaker 2]
Diamond Mountain is very excited to be planting a bat garden up by the stupa number one. And we've recently discovered an endangered bat species here in this area, the Mexican long nose bat. And they depend on the agave nectar for their food.

[Speaker 3]
So we're going to plant 160 agaves and make a beautiful natural fence with materials found locally on the site. Volunteers will come and stay for free at Diamond Mountain and we'll feed them vegetarian food and we'll work in the garden in the mornings when it's cool.

[Speaker 2]
And then in the afternoons, we'll have some speakers talking about creatures of the night. Now, this is in concert with Diamond Mountain's recent approval of a Dark Sky International lodging designation.

[Speaker 3]
And Diamond Mountain has retrofitted all of the exterior lighting to support the creatures of the night in their pollination efforts. It's amazing how many moths and other insects and the bats in particular depend on a dark night sky to do their work to pollinate.

[Speaker 1]
So everybody can come if they want. Should they just follow the QR code?

[Speaker 2]
Follow the QR code. Stay September 22nd to 27th. It'll be great.

[Speaker 1]
And we will have you again soon. Today was crowded, but it's good that really we can talk about these things. If you want to connect with nature and enjoy the Mexican bat nectar party, come to Diamond Mountain.

All right. Now we have to talk about another very cool project of Diamond Mountain. For that, we have Stanley Chen, who's going to show you a wonderful video.

Thank you. Thank you, Kat. We'll talk more.

Don't think we won't. Yeah. Please take table if you can start showing the video.

Because you guys just came back from China. The Gobi Desert. Very, very cool.

So while we watch the video, I was wanting to hear from you, Stanley, a little bit of your own experience. How do you feel about the whole project? Because I bet sometimes we talk about your old days.

You talk to me like when I was your age. I used to, you know, you tell me good advices on how we used to be. And I just wonder a little bit of how's your inner life when you get involved in such amazing and meaningful projects that are really shaping the world.

Okay. Like what you can see here is day one of our four-day program in Dunhuang. And Dunhuang is like, I don't know, like an international place for different people to talk to each other.

Like travelers along the ancient Silk Road would travel through Dunhuang. Artists, scientists, people, educators, they mix ideas in Dunhuang. And that's one reason why Dunhuang is so beautiful.

So we did this forum here in this beautiful hotel in Dunhuang. You can see the sands in Dunhuang are a little bit different from the rocks in Diamond Mountain. It's all like softer sands.

And then there are some artists, entrepreneurs talking about how the Dunhuang ideas can help the world basically. That's the spirit of Dunhuang West. And then we did a three-day retreat, innovation retreat for business innovation and creativity in the same spot.

And what's the plan here in Diamond Mountain? Geshe-la has mentioned this idea of carving some caves. And then at dinner, sorry, at lunch, we were talking with some friends like, what are the caves gonna be for?

Can you sleep in the caves? Can you meditate in the caves? What is it for?

Yeah, I think right now, if you look at, if you have a chance to go to visit Dunhuang, there are about over 700 caves. And it's now it's just like a museum. You can't really do your practice there.

So we want to bring the art of retreat. Like it's a living thing back to the world. And the first stop is Diamond Mountain because it's a great retreat center.

I think we plan to build three caves here and it will be like a real retreat cave where people can do long retreats. Like a room, like a luxury room. Yeah, I think so.

I think so. I hope I can do one sometime. Yes, definitely.

Yeah. Very, very cool. So what's the next step?

Maybe to, I don't know, contact a drilling company? Right now we are working closely with Sunam and a Tucson architecture company. It's called Line and Space.

He came last time. Okay. Yeah, he had to present the plan.

Right now we are starting very soon the feasibility test to see if we can really dig a cave there and see if it's really stable to hold three caves there. That's the next step. Very, very cool.

Thank you. And I hope we can keep continue talking and sharing the progress. Yeah.

So really appreciate your time and your willingness to share with us the video, your experience. Yeah. Thank you.

Congratulations.

[Speaker 3]
Thank you.

[Speaker 1]
Thank you as well. Finally, we want to connect with, maybe many of you know that this event is having simultaneous event happening in Malaysia. For that, we want to connect with our friends.

It's like the Malaysian cousins there having a party. And actually I think, yes, Jasmine is there. We want to talk a little bit with you, Jasmine, and tell us how it's going.

Yes. How much fun are you having? Yes.

Thank you. Thank you, Juan. This is Jasmine Yao from Guangzhou, China.

Now me and over 100 Asia classmates and U.S. teachers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, we're starting five houses courses offline here. We say we are the Asia branch event. Now I'm very happy to meet all of you here.

It's really my honor to introduce you the latest project that launched in five houses and in Asia branch event. I want to give you three reasons why you should come to Kuala Lumpur. If you don't want to fly like 20 to 30 hours to the U.S., then why not come to Kuala Lumpur? Firstly, here we have a very safe and comfortable environment, and we have students and teachers face to face. We can study together, we discuss, we debate, and very important that we can practice this wisdom together. And now, and secondly, because we are ready for the real diamond way teaching like after one and a half years.

So we need to do the foundation study, like five house, like the classic house study. So I'm honored to invite our teachers from St. Jules, from New York, teacher Hector, teachers Freer to support us this part. And later on in the new coming project, we will keep this moving on because foundation is so important for the higher study.

So when can people register Jasmine for the next event in Mexico City? Sorry, no, I mean simultaneous.

[Speaker 2]
Yes.

[Speaker 1]
While they are in Mexico City, when can they register for the event you're doing? Yes, I encourage people if they can fly to Mexico. I like the Mexico and Guadalajara.

Me too. I start my first Asia classical study in Guadalajara. I like there.

I have a beautiful memory. So anybody who wants to fly there, yes, that's great. And we would like to share the link so people can register to your event as well.

Yes, we hope we can talk with you again very, very soon. This time was crazy, Jasmine. You can imagine so many people want spots and it's difficult to come, but they don't.

But we are so happy and honored to be able to be part of this big community. We're going to go to the next class with Tim Lowenhaupt and Geshe Michael Roach. Thank you.

Thank you. Thank you. Please, for the people who want to have a foundation study and also want to go to the open the diamond door of this DW study.

Come to our Asia branch event. Please contact us. Scan the QR code.

Thank you, Juan. Sharon's going to come great.
