[Speaker 3] Hi, I'm back. Anyone still around. Yes, again. Yeah. [Speaker 1] All right. Only one person or two, three. All right, good. Thank you. Thank you for turning on your video it feels less lonely. It feels less lonely this way. Ah, Valentine to. All right, good. Angelica courts. All right. Oh, that's sharp. All right. Okay, let's start. Okay for today diamond mining. In fact, I, I believe all of you must have heard very often about them reminding so I don't want to bore you with a theory again. In fact, I'm thinking to go into my real apps. The good, the ones that I think are good and the ones that I think are bad. So by showing you both the those that I think are good and those that I think are bad. At least you know how we should do it right. But before I show you, I would like to sort of give some idea and direction. Okay. I think all of us are pretty familiar with the way guess you might go, writes the life tools in DCI manuals. He, he will make it in such a way that it is easy to understand, and easy to apply. So, it has to be easy to understand it has to be easy to apply it in our life and of course that Lee, it has to be useful. Right. So to me, understand. Easy to understand easy to apply them useful. These are very important. If the life tool is not useful then of course, people will not people will not want to learn, people will not want to learn and use it in life. So yes, it has to be useful right. And what do I do. Normally, is that when Jason Michael is teaching. I will constantly ask myself, I will constantly ask myself, why do I have to learn this. And how can I use this in my life. So, that is my thought process. Of course, when it is my own book, it is very difficult because I need to understand what gives you Michael is talking about. I have to focus on the content, but when it is other people's books. Let's say it is a words book, or if it is a Stanley's book. You know, so when it is other people's book, I will have more time to think, why do I learn all this and how can I use them in my life. And a lot of time, especially when we are teaching, or especially when Jason Michael is teaching the ideas will just come. And, yeah, and I think, and then I will have to quickly write down the idea. And then when I need to do the life tool. It will be easier. Yeah, so we went to get you Michael is teaching is translating us ourself ask myself, why do I learn this. And how can I apply this in my life. And surprisingly, I think maybe we can call it Lama's effect idea will just come idea will just come. And those are precious, because when ideas come. When the teacher is teaching those are really precious. Sometimes I would even say that those are even more precious than if you were to think on your own about how to create the life tool. So these are just a few tips that I would like to share. Okay, now let's start from. Oh yeah, one more thing that we can use to do this is from the homework questions. If you notice, well I mean today my homework questions are pretty. I mean because it's a biography is a story. So, it might not be that is firing to create a life to. Okay, so today for today's homework, I really don't have any idea how to apply it in life. But maybe we can just take a look. Term 15 here it is. Well, I mean, we can have some idea from the homework questions. Yeah, but maybe the idea might not be really that inspiring. Right. So, let's say for example, what did master was about to do to make sure that the teachings of the victors can last a long time. Right. So, how can. How can we apply this in our life. I guess one way to think about this is that if we want something to last a long time. Right. Maybe we can get some hint from master was about to last a long time can be related to let's say if we have a products, for example, right. If we have a factory producing some products. And of course we want the products to last a long time. Right. So, and then let's look at how, what, how master was about to be right. So he actually arranged for people to do very elaborate offerings to the Sangha communities wherever they are located. Now, why we need to understand why he did this right. Why did he get the people to do offerings, and not just normal ordinary offerings but very elaborate offerings to the Sangha communities. When we talk about business. When we talk about our business. Right, let's say, these few days I've been watching videos on China, about the use of technology in China. Yesterday I watched about Alibaba, and then today I watched about this JD.com. Richard Liu, I don't know, China, people from China, you might know him right, JD.com. And they are big, they are very big. The sales volume is very big and they have been doing for quite a while. So here, when we see master Vasubandhu put a focus on Sangha communities. The reason is because the teachings, only the, or rather I would say the focus is on the Sangha communities to continue the teachings. So the first thing is that we need to have a strong Sangha communities to do the teaching. And then for the teaching to last a long time, we need to have Sangha communities that will last a long time. And for Sangha communities to last a long time, we need the people to do offering. And then to really value the teachings, then it has to be very elaborate offerings, right? So if we look at this now, when we talk about products, when we talk about Alibaba or JD.com, how can we make sure, how do the bosses, Jack Ma or Richard Liu, how do they make sure that they can last long, right? So first of all, they need to know which component that will help them to last long, right? And in terms of teachings, it's the Sangha communities. In terms of business, who would they be? If your business is ordinary business, meaning that you have shops, you have physical products, then the community that will be able to help you to last long will be your distributors, for example. Your network, your sales network, right? [Speaker 3] The sales network. [Speaker 1] In fact, I realized Alibaba is a platform for people to do the products, the e-commerce platform. JD.com to me seems to be like a distribution, right? So JD.com or even the Alibaba, they have a very strong distribution logistic system. So that means first we need to identify the community that will support. So if you are doing a business, then of course the logistic will be important. And then another keyword is here, wherever they are located. So when you talk about logistic, we'll talk about warehouse. And when you talk about warehouse, you need to put them at the strategic locations, right? Okay, so we have these two components. Now, what kind of offerings we can do to, we can give, we can offer to our warehouses? That means we need to provide those people offering the warehouse a good, in the terms of commercial world, it will be the salary. And it has to be a good salary, you know, because they are the one helping you to run the business. So if we were to take this story alone, then we know that those people that will support us, support our business, we need to take care of them. In fact, besides distribution, we can also think of the employees, the stakeholders, the people working for us, and also the suppliers, for example, right? So if we really understand this sentence properly, we really need to take care of our suppliers, our employees, the stakeholders. And not just ordinary offering, it has to be very elaborate salaries or even good money for the suppliers. Yeah, even for this life tool, I would even say that we pay our suppliers better than our competitors, right? Only when our suppliers or even our employees, you know, we should pay our employees maybe better than the market. Because our business can only run when we have good employees, when we have good suppliers. So if I were to look at this sentence alone, I will create the life tool, emphasizing that we take care of the communities that are supporting our business, right? So I mentioned about the distribution, I mentioned about employees, I mentioned about suppliers, but these communities can be many other things. So if I were to take this and write my real apps on my life tool, that is my approach. Okay, so this is one example. Actually, I would say writing life tool is not too difficult. If we know what we want to do, in CSP term, the China soft power term, they call it cultural mining, right? Which is just like diamond mining. So we want to dig out all the gems, all the wisdom gems from the literature, right? Okay, so I think you can use the same thing for all the other questions. This can be challenging, okay? This can be challenging, but if we understand the background of these questions, right? You see, Master Vasubandhu is giving us example that we need to do sort of something like Dharma festival. We need to have a good attendance, right? So in our business, we might want to do sort of like the sales festival, you know? And then he gave us examples about three months. We can use a similar approach too. And of course, the more the merrier, right? So these are just examples from my homework. Okay, now I would like to show you an example of my past life tools. But before that, any questions? [Speaker 3] No questions, okay. Let me show you my past examples. [Speaker 1] In two terms ago, I wrote these three real apps. And I think they are not too bad because I spent a lot of time writing it, right? So for example, okay, four requirements for good real apps for a good life tool is that it has to have a catchy name. So try to create an interesting name you can think of. And then you need to have a nice picture. Okay, because the title is Two Sets of Coins, so I choose this coin, this picture of a coin. [Speaker 3] I don't know, I like a big picture, but somehow this is a bit too big, right? [Speaker 1] Okay, and then you need to explain about this life tool and how to use them. And then you need to tell people how to use it. And finally, the ancient source, right? So let's go to the ancient source directly before we develop the life tool. In fact, this life tool was created simply with just this one line, right? Di yu na di jung, di ke na di ke, right? So if this is here, that happens, right? So just this simple sentence. And I was just thinking that, hey, this can be applied to the topic of two sets of a coin, right? And I link them to the tangible and intangible. Tangible and intangible of the issues that we are facing in life, right? So I just add on tangible things related to our senses. Intangible ones relate to those in our mind, right? But of course, because there are two sets of a coin, the approach to resolve the issue is very similar. So you see how I bring people? I actually bring people to the idea that, hey, there are two possible causes from tangible and intangible. I bring them to two possible causes. And during this topic, if you remember two terms ago, the Master Vasubandhu used the example of a sprout. So he was talking about the sequential occurrence, the seed and then the sprout. And then we also talk about the immediate occurrence. The seed, the sprout and the shadow. You remember from two terms ago, right? The seed, when the seed produces a sprout, they are sequential occurrence. Seed appears, seed exists first before the sprout. Sequential, one after the other. And then when the sprout comes, immediately there is a shadow. Sprout and shadow will come together. So this is what we call immediate occurrence. Now, how do I link this to how we use the life tool is that using the immediate occurrence, we can identify the inherent cause, meaning that the cause that is already there. And I give an example. Using tangible product in a manufacturing setting. Tangible means something that we can identify easily. Inherent means it's already there from the beginning. So immediate occurrence means it is already there. So in terms of manufacturing, because it's already there, it is causing a problem. So when we talk about inherent cause, I relate that to the raw materials before the production. And here, I would like to focus. I would like to, in my example, I say that, hey, this should be the IQC, the incoming quality control, to make sure that the raw materials are good. I wouldn't say perfect, but good. At least they are not defective. Now, on the other hand, the other side is the sequential occurrence, one after the other. So in the similar example of a factory, sequential occurrence, we can relate that to the production. Production means during the production, the materials are all good. But during the production, maybe because it is manual, there are certain errors. And how do we control, how do we manage those is by the quality control. So my example is using the production. There is what we call the IQC, which is the incoming quality control. And then the QC, which is the supposed to be outgoing quality control. And then I give an example. Yes, we can expand this idea to other areas of life. And we always need to consider two sides to things, especially to issues and challenges, which can be divided into inherent, which is already embedded. And the other one is the result done to the subject. So inherent means it's already in there. Result means one after the other. So this is one example that I prepared two terms ago. Well, actually, if I sit down, I can write even more. But, well, I mean, all of us always don't have enough time. OK, the next one, save the sinking fun. So you see, I always like to think of what we call, there is this tool in English called alliteration, meaning that you use the same word. I wanted to find another S, but I couldn't, but at least save the sinking fun. F and S sounds a bit similar, right? So, OK, let's look at the ancient source first. This is also interesting. So Master Vasubandhu, in the book Explanation of the First Principle and the Division of Dependence and Connection, is talking about destruction of a cause is not something that has to depend on the result coming out. Meaning the destruction of an entity lasting instant by instant doesn't depend on outside conditions. Now, just by reading this alone, does anyone, can anyone guess in DCI, which life tool is this in DCI? [Speaker 3] Can anyone guess? [Speaker 1] So the destruction of a cause is not something that has to depend on the result coming out. The destruction of an entity lasting instant by instant doesn't depend on outside conditions. [Speaker 3] I think if I tell you the life tool, you will be, oh, anybody wants to guess? Oh, quiet. Uta, you think of anything? [Speaker 1] OK. OK, well, this is, OK, in DCI, this is actually in level five. Baby in the Vault. Oh, you see, it's the idea, right? Destruction of a cause. The baby, the death of a baby is not something that has to depend on the baby getting old. The destruction, the death of a baby, which is an entity lasting instant by instant, doesn't depend on outside conditions. That's why we put the baby in the vault, right? Well, I mean, yes, this, I can easily link this to the baby in the vault. But I decided to create my own life tool, which I call Save the Sinking Fund. Why do I use this name is, did I have, oh yeah, OK, I have an explanation here. In Singapore, when you buy a house, well, I mean, if you buy a house, it's your own problem, right? But if you buy an apartment or condominium, right? Apartment means there is a complex. Or if you buy a house in the complex, unless you're talking about an independent house, meaning that your house is independent. But a lot of time when you buy a house or apartment, it is part of a bigger complex, right? Now, when you buy a house in the complex, there is what we call the management committee. Management committee will look into the common properties, right? Let's say you have a common swimming pool. For some estate in Indonesia, they have a common golf course, for example. Common tennis court, you know, it's impossible for every house to have a tennis court, to have a swimming pool. Oh yeah, swimming pool is possible, but golf course, tennis court, you know, it's impossible for every house to have one. Normally the whole complex will have a common facility. We call it common facility, right? The recreation, the function room, you know, the gym. So, and all the units, all the houses will contribute monthly. But besides that, the management committee is also responsible for the repair of the common property. Let's say in apartment, for example, if the lift is broken, it's the management committee, the MC, it's the MC's responsibility to repair. And where do they get the money from, right? They can't be sending for repair and then they start to collect money one by one. Hey Angelica, you need to pay $1,000. Uta, you need to pay $1,000, you know. It's too slow. So what we do is that every month we need to pay money, right? And what is even best is that in Singapore, they also factor in what they call the sinking fund. They call it sinking fund, right? Sinking fund is the money they foresee that they will need to replace the common property in, I forgot the term, maybe in 20 years. So in 20 years when you need to replace the whole swimming pool, in 20 years when you need to change the whole tennis court, in 20 years when you need to redo the golf course, for example. So that is what they call the sinking fund. And then they divide into 20 years and then they divide into 12 months. That's the money that every house, every unit needs to pay. So I'm using this idea because things will die. Things will be destroyed after a certain period, regardless of how we take care of them. Maybe Uta cannot say, yeah, I take care of my house very well. I go to swim, I use my tennis court, I take care of the court very well. I will not destroy the court. But we don't know. Some other people may just use the facility recklessly, causing issue, spoil the facility. So everybody needs to pay. So based on this idea, even if let's say Uta is taking care of the facility very well, but because of the sun, because of the rain, the facility will break, will fall out. In fact, I just saw my neighbor, the estate has been around for six years. And then they used to have a very beautiful wooden platform, wooden roof, wooden chairs. Very beautiful, very nice. But lately I saw because of the rain, because of the sun, all the woods got rotten. So it's kind of ugly. So this is really the case. Like the baby in the fall. So I just use this idea. And then I thought of the house fund. And I created the title. And then I just wrote some explanation. Yeah. So the first paragraph is the explanation. The second paragraph, I went into application in accounting, for example. So I pointed out here that in accounting, we need to take care of the asset depreciation. Yeah, I think if you are running your own company, typically when we talk about computer, for example, you will depreciate a computer with three years. So meaning that every three years you can buy a new computer. So you will divide the cost by three years, by 12 months. So let's say you buy a computer, your MacBook Pro. The cost is $3,600. So you divide that by 36. It means that every month you need to set aside $100 as part of the depreciation. And after three years, you will have enough money to buy a new computer, new MacBook Pro. So I use this example in my sinking fund. So yeah, these are some of the examples that I use for this one. So these are examples that I think is pretty good. Now, let me show you bad example. But before that, any questions? No questions. Okay, kind of lonely talking alone. [Speaker 2] I would like to discuss a little bit. [Speaker 1] Okay, thank you. [Speaker 2] When I was listening to you and at the beginning, at the first thing you told us, I got the idea of sustainable or corporate social responsibility. This picture appeared to me. So actually, this life tool would be very interesting to people who own a company. And nowadays, they are responsible to take care of the corporate social responsibility. About their, what do you call it? Yeah, CSR. The suppliers and the, I call it followers, the stakeholders. [Speaker 1] Stakeholders, yeah. [Speaker 2] This came up to me. And the second example you'd said about the two coins, in my mind, it appeared an ice cone. What? Ice cream, a cone of ice cream. Oh, ice cream cone. Because the suppliers will give you the good ingredients. And you will see the result of the ice cream from the buyers, from the customers, if they come back and if they buy it. As an example. Is this correct? [Speaker 1] Well, yes, I think in terms of creating a life tool, there is no right and no wrong answer. You know, we can, it depends on our creativity. Now, let me, let me ask you. Geshe Michael, I mean, if you really look into the ancient source, and then if you come to MixedNuts translation, you will realize that Geshe Michael is using a lot of MixedNuts source for the life tool. And when you found them, you will feel very excited, you know. Maybe let me disable all the spotlight. I just don't feel comfortable spotlighting myself. Okay. If you want to see everybody, you can go to gallery. So, for example, the other day I was reading the, I was reading the, well, okay. When in level 11, level 11, time management, oh, sorry, level 12, level 12, great teacher, the art of great teacher, right? Life tool 11. We talk about how to receive and how to give great, or how to give and how to receive great teacher. Remember? Yeah, 12 ways to receive, oh, sorry, 12 ways to give and 12 ways to receive, right? If you remember about this, the ancient source mentioned about the 12 ways, 12 ways, 12 division of the sutra, 12 divisions of the sutra. 12 kinds, 12 kinds of texts in the sutra, right? And what happened is that when I was reading the Golden Key by Word, right? And I also found this in his book. I think he's Fearless Blade, right? Fearless Blade, the author of Word's book is Fearless Blade. And Fearless Blade actually used these 12 in another context. So instead of 12 divisions of sutra, Fearless Blade used it in, I forgot, I think he used it to explain the mind-only principle, you know? And you know what struck my mind? First Buddha taught the 12 ways of sutra division. And then that was 2,500 years ago. Today Geshe Michael uses it for DCF 12 on how to give and how to receive gratitude. And apparently, 1,000 years ago, hold on, Fearless Blade was like 500 years ago. 500 years ago, Fearless Blade, is that 500? Yeah, I think 500 years ago, Fearless Blade was doing diamond mining too, you know? So Fearless Blade took Buddha's 12 divisions of the sutra for something else to explain about the mind-only, you see? So what I can say is that when I saw that, I was so excited. I said, oh my goodness, this diamond mining is not our monopoly, you know? In fact, the masters have been using this technique. So I think, yeah, if you can get hold of this golden key, I think Geshe-la gave Buddha, Geshe-la gave us in Sedona, you know, you remember? I forgot which level, Geshe Michael printed the golden key and gave it to us. I think Angelica, you have that too, you know? Every one of us, we receive one book. That is the golden key, you know? So yeah, read it, read it. I mean, it's very difficult, but it's very exciting, especially when you can link this fact to how the masters were using the ancient scripture for their diamond mining. You know, it really almost blew my mind. I said, oh my goodness, they're also doing it. So, yeah, what I like... It's okay, no worry, Yuta. Looking at your face is enough. In fact, I'm looking at Olga. Olga is translating, so looking at her reminds me that I need to speak more slowly. Looking at Isabel, you know, they are still breathing well. So I know that I shouldn't speak too fast. What I like is that, you see, I like to guess, especially when there's a new manual. Oh yeah, advanced level one is coming. If you haven't registered, you better register. The manual, because I'm translating, I look at the manual. It's very exciting. So every time Geshe-la has a new life tool, before looking at the ancient source, I always like to guess. Where is this coming from? You know, I always like to guess. So it's kind of fun, especially when your guess is correct. You know, you feel, oh yeah, I guess right. So, yeah, do that. For some of you who have not attended certain levels, when you don't have manuals for certain levels, when you attend the first time, do it. You know, try to guess. Try to guess. Or even, you know, for me, I started with DCI. So I learned all the life tools from DCI. And then when I started learning ACI, you know, it's very exciting. Oh, this is the source of this life tool. Oh, this is the source of that life tool. And you see, when you have all these ideas in your mind, and when you can link them together, you will remember them, and then you can, and hopefully you can use them well. You know, a lot of people ask you, how come you remember ACI, which level, which class, DCI, which level, which level, which life tool? It's because I link them all together. I link them all together. And it's kind of exciting, especially when you're teaching, and then you can tell people, oh, this is from which level, this is from which life tool. People will look at you, oh, you are so smart. Okay. I mean, this is just some tips and jokes, yeah. Okay, so, yeah, that's about all. Oh, yeah, I want to show you a bad example. Let me show you my bad example. Okay, this is a bad example. Don't follow what I did. [Speaker 3] Don't follow what I did. Let me see. Oh, yeah, this is bad. [Speaker 1] Okay, they are bad, but I still want to show you because I kind of like the idea. Okay. Oh, this is term 12. Oh, okay, let me see. Oh, yeah, that was, oh, okay. [Speaker 3] Okay, let me share my screen. [Speaker 1] I call this memory matters. You see, I like to make the title interesting, yeah. Okay, let's go to the ancient source first, right. So, this is from the biography of Master Vasubandhu. We talk about, this is, if you remember, one, two, three, three times ago. So, from Nepal before coming back to India, Master Vasubandhu actually asked people to rewrite the manuscript because he wants to, he wanted to bring them back, right. He wanted to bring them back to India. So, he actually got people to rewrite the manuscripts and then he got, and then some thieves stole them, steal them, stole them, right. And then he did it again, got stolen again. He did it again and stolen again, total three times. And finally, he told himself, okay, I don't have any more money left. I will just have to go India with nothing, with no book. But all these dharmas are in my mind already, right. Nobody will be able to steal from me as I have them all in my head. So, this gave me inspiration to write this life tool called Memory Matters, meaning that try to put everything into our memory if we can. And, oh yeah, I forgot to talk about the picture. So, try to find interesting pictures to show this. I think Geshe Michael is an expert. All his pictures are very, very interesting, right. So, I just thought that, okay, I want to inspire people to, okay, you need to remember what you need to remember. Nowadays, internet is so convenient. Anything you don't know, you can go to Google or Baidu or whatever, and then you can get your answer. So, here, I just said, okay, there are many benefits in memorizing facts. When we need to recall them quickly, when we don't have access to internet or our notes, sometimes when you don't have internet, when the router is spoiled, when the Wi-Fi is not working, or when your notes is left at home, or when you are preparing, when you are doing presentation, or you are doing Q&A. So, it's good if you have all the information in your mind, you can quickly do. So, why do I say this is bad? Because this is too short. This is too short. Try to write more. I'm telling myself, try to write more. If I have more time, I will write more. Okay, explain what is this, and then how you apply it, and example, at least these three things. Explain what the life tool is, and then tell people how to use it, and finally give example. Okay, so these three things. All right, next one. Ingenious indirect instructions. Okay, I got it. I don't know. I just like this. We call it alliteration, right? Alliteration, I don't know. I think this is a difficult English. Okay, what it means is that you repeat the same character. So, this is I, I, I. Okay, let's go to the ancient source, all right? So, oh yeah, this is talking about Master Vasubandhu putting down the practitioners and the teaching of Mahayana, and then when his older brother heard about it, you know, he wanted to help the younger brother, and Master Asanga didn't criticize the brother, but try to stop him using the skillful means. So, he sent his two disciples to recite these two sutras to Master Vasubandhu. Sutra, the Ten Bodhisattva Levels and the teaching taught by the Bodhisattva Never-Ending Wisdom, right? So, the two disciples went to meet the younger brother and recited to him. When he heard the words that evening, he said that from the point of view of causes, the teachings were pretty cool, but he still couldn't get the result because to him, the result was a huge void. By the next morning, somehow after he cooked it overnight, he understood that the methods and outcomes were both unbelievable, meaning it's amazing. And then because of this, he realized that he was putting down and made a mistake due to the fault of his tongue, and then this is the story. He offered to cut his tongue using a razor blade. And then the two students stopped him and then asked him to find the brother, right? So, I got inspired about this one and I gave this life tool called Ingenious Indirect Instructions. Indirect, meaning that you don't have to tell people, hey Angelica, you have to fly to South Africa tomorrow. I'm sorry to use that example or whatever, you know. You just hint to people. You just hint to people. So I'm writing here in giving instructions. It is not always, I mean, it is also good to consider to do it indirectly. Sometimes the effect can be much more powerful than the direct method, yeah? But due to a ego, due to ego, direct method might not be accepted by some people, but indirect method will allow each individual to reflect on the merit of following the instructions, calling all parties to feel comfortable, yeah? So, yeah, so I think this is, well, that's why this is a bad life tool. Why? Because it's too short, okay? At least three components, right? What is this life tool? How to use? And examples, yeah? So when we talk about what is this life tool, we want to talk about the benefit. We want to talk about the, why we want to learn it, right? How it can help us. And then secondly, we talk about the, about how to use it. And then finally example, right? Okay, last example, if you don't have any questions. Okay, complete and concise instructions. Angelica, you will like this picture. Okay, let's go to the ancient source. So, so this is, this is cut from the book, yeah? What kind of disciple is this teaching made for? Right? So two kinds of disciples. The people who have the view of existence of self and those who don't realize the fault of the will or the problems of samsara. Okay, because this sentence is a bit difficult, I added more information, yeah? I added more information. Oh, I got this Geshe Michael book. Okay, this is, okay. This is actually from the top, right? So if he is going to teach about how things are not themselves, why did he use the term only a mountain of pain when he said that he meant to say even this mountain of pain has nothing about it, which is itself or belong to itself, right? So we are talking about the emptiness of pain. Oh, okay. I need this, sorry. I need this, okay? And then, and then I added, I've told you why the Buddha give this teaching, which is mainly to help people understand that nothing is itself. There are other sutras that say people with great learning, whether they are Aryas or listeners, they see correctly with their wisdom how things occur in dependence and how things are occurring and how occur in dependence, right? [Speaker 3] Okay, this is very long. My goodness. [Speaker 1] Okay, forget about it. This is too long. Okay, let me tell you. So basically this is talking about when we want to give instruction, it has to be complete and concise. So, oh yeah, you know, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, all these eight points, I took it from the text that I stopped reading to you. [Speaker 3] Let me show you the text. Oh, this is so long. I'm sorry. [Speaker 1] Did I open the correct file? Yeah, I opened the correct file. Wow. This is a bad example. Okay, don't follow me. The answer is so long. Anyway, I forgot. Okay, so basically there are eight points pointed out here about giving instructions and I adapt them into the live tool, right? So when you want to give exam, when you want to give instructions, you need to have all these eight points. First, identify target audience. Second, introduce the attitude of learning. Third, inform the audience the importance to read the details and not to miss the content and misunderstand the meaning. Fourth, give the reasons of why it is written. Fifth, start with an overview. Six, go into the details. Seven, use grammar case to differentiate different part of the instructions. And finally, use metaphors as examples. Yeah, so this is basically how to give instructions and all these were actually given in the text. Okay. Okay, so this is just some examples. Okay, this is a bad example because the ancient source is too long until I also forgot myself. All right, that's about all. Any questions? [Speaker 3] Oh, sorry. Oh, I'm sorry, Olga. [Speaker 1] So yeah, I think that's about all. Any questions before we end the sessions? Yeah, Ella. Conscious life tool, but it's so long. So I think writing life tool to me is kind of fun. [Speaker 3] You know, it's kind of fun. [Speaker 1] And yeah, another Ella, correct? Ella from, I think, New York, right? And Ella from Shenzhen. Yeah. So I think it's kind of fun. I think it's good because it keeps me awake when listening to Geshe Michael teaching on other books because I always challenge myself, how can I use this in life? And then what kind of life tool I can write from here? And in fact, Geshe Michael mentioned it many times. If you master the art of writing life tool, you will become a good teacher and you will not have lack of things to teach. You will always have things to teach, right, as a teacher or even as a leader. OK, so that's all from me. And I hope it's useful. I hope you like it. And thank you very much for supporting Mixed Nuts. All right, so that's all. Have a good day for you in the Western world and have a good evening. Please go to sleep for those of you in the Eastern world. OK, so thank you very much. I enjoyed the session. I hope you enjoyed it, too. And see you again. Bye bye. Thank you again. It was amazing. Thank you, Octavio.
