[Говорящий 1]
I see that we have some people here joining us today. Looking forward to class with Mr. Seiji Arao first. And then Marina looks shocked about that.

Uh-oh.

[Говорящий 2]
We're all surprised. It's okay. It's good.

[Говорящий 1]
Hopefully Seiji isn't surprised. Hey, all. Had a little mishap.

I woke up and forgot that Japan is one hour later. But now I'm good. One hour later than Rimrock?

Because the time zone is in the center of the earth. Oh, oh, oh. We were in China yesterday.

Right, right. Good thing is not the other way around. They connected one hour earlier.

Yeah, that would have been rough. How are you guys? Good, good.

Nice to see you. Do you have a kitchenette in your hotel room? No, it's like a cabin for coffee, which I bought you and Ben some nice geishas.

That's what I like to hear. We're talking. Cool.

So I've never done a team shuanshan, so what do we usually do here? Well, if you have a homework ready, we'll start with that. And then we'll just jump into the text together, basically.

Hmm. Okay. That's the current process.

I think you'll really like my translation, Nick. I'll probably like it, yeah. At least I'll think a smart person.

Awesome. All right. So last class was during DSU in Sedona.

Mm-hmm. Sorry. So do you guys remember, why does our author encourage us not to rely on this fleeting life?

Because whether the... Oh, sorry. Somebody's talking.

No, I think that was you, Nick. Whether we like stuff or not, it's all going away. Right.

Yes. The text was calling because we cannot rely on this life, the Lord of Death never rests. Oops.

Oh, okay. That's not what I said, but that's awesome. Well, pretty much.

I mean, we're going to lose. Let's do that. Yeah.

All right. Second question. Then our Master Shantideva goes into a metaphor saying our life is like a dream.

What does he mean in this particular context? Does anyone remember?

[Говорящий 3]
The people you like and the people you don't like, they're all like a dream because years later you won't even remember them.

[Говорящий 1]
What do we mean when we say years later?

[Говорящий 3]
Like all that you did for them, even if you hurt people to protect your family or the people you love or people that you hate and all the hurt you made them, all of that, it is like a dream. Cool, cool, cool.

[Говорящий 1]
Awesome. Yay, Oscar. Well done.

Yeah, exactly that. And whoever were all the friends or enemies will become a memory. We will not be able to see or remember referring, of course, to after we passed.

All those memories are completely gone. How does Master Shantideva contrast the relationship between liking and disliking people and the seeds we plant? I think half of the answer was already given by Oscar.

I think that's a clue.

[Говорящий 3]
Well, we only take to the next life the seeds we planted. So even if we hurt people, it is better not to hurt people because we will bring with us those bad seeds to the next life.

[Говорящий 1]
Yep, yep. For me, yeah. Yes, Oscar, you got it.

I was just saying, all right, Oscar. Yeah. Yeah.

So for me, this was particularly shocking because I don't know, it's like all that is really, truly, completely gone. I don't remember anything from the past, but for sure, I think the seeds. All right.

Master Shantideva urges us to think on this short life, we'll have many people and things we like and dislike. Because of that, we have planted bad seeds to fight our enemies or defend our loved ones. All things will eventually die.

However, the seeds will always be standing in front of us. Okay. Three vocabulary words, easy.

Sanskrit words. Anyone remember? Is that like in front of you?

Hmm. Close. Relay.

[Говорящий 2]
That's me.

[Говорящий 1]
I'm that. Yeah, exactly.

[Говорящий 2]
Sleep or dream.

[Говорящий 1]
Yay. Awesome. Yeah.

All right. Okay. So this is my translation.

Well, Nick's translation. What do you think, Nick? I think it's okay.

I think it's probably not 100% right, but I did it quickly. But I think it's close. Let's see.

Why don't you read it and then we'll work on it together. Okay. Okay.

Nice reading. Well, I can talk about it a little bit since I worked on it a little bit today. First of all, the first line, detar, is kind of like thus or and so.

And dak is usually, in this case, I believe it's I. Lobur is a word that came up in my text, which means an English word that I had never heard before, adventitious, which means something comes and goes. But it also can mean suddenly, which makes...

What? Oh, no. I just said, oh, yes.

Oh, sorry. I'm hearing some kind of echo. So I don't know.

It must be me. And then there's a she at the end, which is like, says or said, or it's like a quotation mark, which I don't understand why it's here. So maybe someone else will have an idea why the she is there.

Because it's not like a commentary. It's not like the verse says, like, that is the verse. Right.

Oh, yeah. Yep. Yep.

So I just said, thus we can say. And then the first line, daki tok parmak yor pe, I didn't realize. Daki means by me.

Daki, when you have a gi, G-I-S, the S makes it instrumental. So that particular grammatical construction means by me. Tok parmak means I'm not realizing or didn't realize.

So I think so far that I suddenly, without even realizing it, Timok chak dang she dang. Anyone?

[Говорящий 2]
It's desire and anger.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah. Dik pa nam pa tu ma je. I think I got it there.

Seiji, do you remember these words? Dik pa? Negative D.

Yeah, good. Negative. Nam pa.

I don't even think I wrote that here. I just, well, I just, my eyes glossed over it. I'm glazed over it.

Passed over it. Dik pa nam pa tu ma je. Usually it means like an aspect, I think, with this spelling, right?

[Говорящий 2]
We have the Sanskrit here?

[Говорящий 1]
Yes. Oh, helpful. It also means type or kind.

Yeah, right. Yeah. Many types of negative bad deeds, I guess, because it's nam pa tu ma.

Yeah. Caused me to do many, all kinds of negative things.

[Говорящий 2]
Is it missing, Seiji, or can we copy it and put it nearby just to look at it side by side?

[Говорящий 1]
I believe that, oh, I have the old version of Gish Michael's text. Give me one second. It's easy.

Oh, I'm sorry. Wow, now look what we've done. Does he have the Sanskrit in his?

Give me one second. With the detar, did you look at the last verse? The detar usually means what I just talked about.

No, Seiji only ever sends me the verses. Sometimes I'll ask him to send me what was previous, but I didn't have time for all that today. If you guys want to see the inner workings of Seiji's classes, this is what happens.

He sends me stuff. Sometimes I have time to be like, dude, I have no idea what this says. You have to show me what came before.

And then if he gets back to me in time, but today I didn't even, you know, all the four of us whose faces you can see right now are dads. So, you know, sometimes we got to stay up late to get this stuff done. We should do a MixNuts behind the scenes mockumentary.

Unplugged. I can be like, this is final tap. I just look at the version that Gish Michael sent Ben and I don't know why the Sanskrit is not there.

Maybe that's something I can do with someone's help.

[Говорящий 2]
No problem. No problem. I don't mean to waste your time.

It's great. This is great.

[Говорящий 1]
Well, I believe, yeah, for whatever reason, I don't know why. Sometimes I do this when I'm translating, but I just totally forgot that the Nampa was there or didn't even look at it. But it should probably say many or all kinds of like word set.

I think that's a good way to say it. Duma is more like many or numerous. So, you can say like many types of negative deeds.

[Говорящий 2]
Occasionally says like multifarious. I saw suffix.

[Говорящий 1]
Well, that wouldn't suffix be if it was a pluralizer.

[Говорящий 2]
Yeah. Yeah.

[Говорящий 1]
In this case, I think then it's Nampa Duma, like many types of.

[Говорящий 2]
Oh, yeah, yeah.

[Говорящий 1]
Well, the Duma Che usually is like, well, there's, I was gonna say, yeah, totally.

[Говорящий 2]
The Duma Che with an owl on the do can also mean unproduced. Totally. But in this case.

It could be a little tricky there, but I think that the lack of an owl would, yeah, obviously be a vote in the many types of.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah, I think so, because there has to be a verb there. Or there should be a verb like ending the verse, like I do bad stuff. Yeah.

Isn't this Che the future tense? Is it? I don't know.

But I think in this case, it's pretty clearly saying I did them or I'm doing them because, look, there's an instrumental. There's an instrumental here. Oh, you guys can't see my cursor.

But there's an instrumental after the second line and after the third line. It's past. I just checked.

It's past tense. Yeah. I did them.

Yeah. Thank you. You don't have to take personal responsibility for doing them.

But. No, I did them. Did anybody have any questions or thoughts about this verse?

I'd love to if people want to, you know, especially relating to the Tibetan and trying to understand why. Well, in the continuation, just for continuity here, could we see the verse before? That's a good question.

There you go. There's talking about the seeds that stay in front of you. Yeah.

OK. I stand behind my thinking. I mean, so.

All right. That's right. All right.

Cool. All right. So next one, please.

Cool. So, let's see, nyen ten, day or night? Nyen is day, ten is night.

Dpa is like, I think it's related to like, do like, you know, like in colloquial Tibetan, when you say like, is or like sits. So, I think it's rest. Yung, mey par, tsen di, as I think is what's being referred to here, this life, tsen di, in this life.

Tak tu, tak tu, gu, gu, gu sheng. I think I remember now, gu means disappearing or something. Doesn't gu mean to put forward, like, good?

I think it's related to that, but I think it's, I think it means.

[Говорящий 2]
Like, loss or to damage, misfortune, trouble.

[Говорящий 1]
Oh, really? OK.

[Говорящий 2]
I think so, yeah.

[Говорящий 1]
Which makes sense in this context, because. Misfortune of some kind. You know, specifically, I see it in some of the ACI translations as being leaks away.

There you go. Leaking away is even nicer than going away, which I put.

[Говорящий 2]
That's also together with gure, with that and gure.

[Говорящий 1]
Gungur, I like leaking away better.

[Говорящий 2]
Oh, I wish I had the Sanskrit. Right, but that's OK. Kshana, I want to say.

[Говорящий 1]
Oh, I bet. I think Venerable Chunzong is posting that in the chat. She's putting the Sanskrit in the chat.

[Говорящий 2]
Oh, look at that, Chunzong, you're so clever.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah. Is she just translating it back into Sanskrit on the fly?

[Говорящий 2]
No, she would never, because in the Mixed Nuts tradition, we don't reconstitute the Sanskrit. We get the original sources. Chunzong, do you have a 2.39 for us?

[Говорящий 1]
I think so, hold on.

[Говорящий 2]
Bless your heart. Thank you. Wow, look at that.

That's what a team class should look like. It's cutting and pasting, right? But whatever.

Whatever.

[Говорящий 1]
Oh, beautiful. So, Xing is and, right? Yeah.

Yeah, I think so. Tsendi, talk to, sorry, Gungur Xing. This life's always going away.

Yeah, I just considered it a placeholder in this case, but yeah. I think it's and, like two different qualities, and it's. Yeah.

Yeah, and we can't add any on. Yeah. Yeah, good.

I think. Oh, yeah, there's, I put, I divided this into two, because I was confused. There's a numpa and a gu, and they kind of mean opposite things here.

Now, gu can mean in addition, can't it? I understood that gu means go away, but I, again, this is the same conversation we had two seconds ago. That's g-o-d, this is g-u-d, right?

I know, I know, but I guess they're, I'm guessing they're related. And what I've, I looked it up too, because I thought, I wasn't sure, and I thought it was more like, I thought it was related to like set forth, like cuppa, but it's, when I looked it up in the dictionary, it says it's decline, deteriorate, weaken, worsen, degenerate. I guess it has it as like set aside.

Set aside, okay. Yeah. Well, in this case, set aside still has that similar connotation as opposed to adding on.

Okay. So I, this is what I've thought. I mean, I didn't, maybe nympa gu together is a phrase that just means adding on, but I distributed the me to both nympa and gu and said, we cannot add any, and whatever goes away will not come back.

That's what I thought the ong was about. Yeah, there's no more coming aside. Yeah.

Like gu and ne, like whatever degenerated ain't coming, ain't coming back. We just had guppa in my book and it was like in addition to, or to set aside, so. Oh, yeah.

So maybe it just means like no more that you're hoping for will ever come. I think so. No more will ever come, because nympa means in addition to.

Exactly. Also, so maybe nympa gu together also just means that as frequently. Seiji, you know, you can, you could also leave it with both just because, oh, you are.

It doesn't matter. I mean, just to ask Keshi and Michael, basically. We need Jeru's help.

Come here, boy. All right, cool. And then doc ta, and I think I'm, I think I'm messing something up here.

Doc ta chi war chi min gyur. It's like, it looks like it's saying, like, how could the view of self not die? But I know it doesn't say that.

Like doc, doc tab usually means the view that holds to itself, right? Yeah. It seems like it's saying that, yeah, that will lead to some kind of death or something.

The view of. It says not die, chi war chi min gyur. Um, no.

How could the view of self not kill you or something? Yeah, right, right. Like that.

Yeah, that's what I, that's what I translated as basically. Uh. Not kill, you know, or not pass away.

Well, it just, it just says, yeah, cool, cool, cool. It doesn't say kill, but that's kind of the feeling though. Like, how wouldn't it?

Yeah. How wouldn't it make you die or something like that? Yeah.

So I don't know. Uh, I mean, this is like, it just kind of seemed weird to me that he threw the word view in there after all this, like, he's not talking about viewpoints or anything. He's just talking about, you know, I'm stupid.

I don't, or like, you know, I'm doing all these bad deeds and then the Lord of death is coming and how could I not die? Right. How could anyone who sees himself in this way, not die?

Yeah, maybe so. I think it's good for. For the dies that they talk.

Someone like me. Doctize someone like me? Oh, you think it's doctor?

[Говорящий 2]
Could be. Yeah.

[Говорящий 1]
Like there's supposed to be a rah?

[Говорящий 2]
Yeah.

[Говорящий 1]
Maybe.

[Говорящий 2]
It's not possible.

[Говорящий 1]
Be worth checking the scan. It could be belief in itself, not necessarily view of self. Yeah.

How could I believing or how could, I don't know, kind of need to say I, or how could someone you have to refer to the person who's, how could they not die? Because it would be weird to say, how can this belief in itself not die? Because.

Yeah. Because we're not talking about that. You can say, I don't know, it might be worth looking at the scan to see if it's doctor.

Say, gee, if you want to, do you have this? I mean, we don't need to do it now, but you do have the scan for this? Don't think so.

Okay. Well, it shouldn't be too hard to come by from the 10 year. Yeah.

I'm going to make a note of to send you the scan. Yeah. I'm just probably in the folder, but.

All right. Cool. Is that it?

Oh, wait, what did we, did we see the Sanskrit for 39?

[Говорящий 2]
It is in, I think it's in the chat, but I think it's I think it's Chinzen's 39. Aisha put one in, but I think it doesn't, that doesn't line up with our verse. Exactly.

Oh, I think.

[Говорящий 1]
Chinzen's is right. Cause it says. Exactly.

Yeah.

[Говорящий 2]
Exactly. Right. Yeah.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah. Here we go. Kim, Kim is the Chi, right?

[Говорящий 2]
Yeah.

[Говорящий 1]
What's this NV though? That's, is that a mistake?

[Говорящий 2]
No. NV is, it's N U. It's a Sundy that happens when, when U is followed by a vowel.

It probably should be Navaham though, Ben.

[Говорящий 1]
Navaham.

[Говорящий 2]
Nu can, Navaham. Nu can be also like a particle of like, like surprise or like, like indeed. It's definitely missing a vowel though.

It needs, then it would be Navaham, right? Oh, right. I'm just saying, I think that the, the, the V is the, is that right?

Is the Sundy. Yeah. Right.

It would need something. You can't have an NV, right?

[Говорящий 1]
Right. That's what it would be.

[Говорящий 2]
You need Sundy, yeah.

[Говорящий 1]
But I guess, does it have something to do with Ta, like view? Or does it maybe have something to do with Tar, like, like? Yeah.

[Говорящий 2]
That's a good question.

[Говорящий 1]
I don't know. I don't know. Nuv or Nav.

[Говорящий 2]
I'd like to see, Aisha, in that critical edition, what's the very next verse if you have it? My guess is that that should line up and I'd love to see if it's the same.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah.

[Говорящий 2]
I'm good. It's close. You just gave the verse that came before it.

So my guess is that it should be Regals 2.40. Yeah.

[Говорящий 1]
Numbers are probably preceding the verses. That's what I was about to say.

[Говорящий 2]
So you can have the PDF at hand. Okay. And that's the verse because that's exactly the verse that appears in Regals.

Okay.

[Говорящий 1]
Just put the one that comes after 2.39. Yes. You would be so kind. That should be it.

Oh, no, the NV is real. It means lost?

[Говорящий 2]
No, this is from Geshe-les Notes.

[Говорящий 1]
Oh, okay.

[Говорящий 2]
Just FYI. Cool.

[Говорящий 1]
Ratri. Okay. Not name.

Yeah, okay. Here we go. Here we go.

Yeah, same thing. I wonder if nav means like or if it means da. Let's look it up.

And I don't know if Lokesh Chandra will have something that weird. That's weird. I just looked up new.

[Говорящий 2]
It means then or now.

[Говорящий 1]
It means now.

[Говорящий 2]
But I guess Geshe-les saying it's not new, it is NV somehow. Never seen that.

[Говорящий 1]
That is weird. No, I don't think we're going to be able to find something. So I found new.

What do you see for a definition? There is like. The fifth definition is like, like or as.

Oh, that's got to be it then. An argument in favor of Dak-tar.

[Говорящий 2]
I think that's it. I think that's right. And it should, right?

I mean, a U before an A would become what, Dr. Kasica? I wouldn't answer me either.

[Говорящий 1]
No, that's helpful though, because.

[Говорящий 3]
I'm muted. No, I think you're right. It would be NUV and then A.

[Говорящий 2]
I think it would just be NV. I think the U becomes a V. I don't think it's NUV.

I think the U. It was not. Is it not or new?

New. It's NU. And so NU before an A should become NVA.

All right. Then I guess. I've never seen.

Yeah, cool. Good. We're learning.

What do we call it? What kind of Sanskrit are we learning? Organic.

Oh, this is highly organic. You can tell by the stench. Yeah, it smells kind of bad.

Yes, it smells like real time learning.

[Говорящий 1]
Well, Seiji, if that's correct, that the NU means like, then that means that you could probably put one of those curly brackets and put a percent LTAR after LTA. And then you can look super smart to Geshe Michael and tell him that, you know, we looked up the Sanskrit. And that we're guessing it's LTAR.

Or it could be some idiom that makes LTA like LTAR. Oh, yeah, that's also true. I've never seen it, but that doesn't mean much.

Well, I always suspected TAR came from LTA, like seems like, like Paracet or something. Yeah, it makes sense. Yeah, it looks like.

Yeah.

[Говорящий 2]
Cool.

[Говорящий 1]
Cool. So that means it might you potentially it doesn't it could just say, how could I not? How could someone like me or something not pass away?

Cool. Great. Then you can get rid of you can get rid of holding this view if it's not if TAR doesn't mean.

[Говорящий 2]
Sorry, go ahead. I checked like three Chinese translations. Doctor, they all they all translate into my life or human life.

[Говорящий 1]
And I checked the original, you know, Western Chinese language attached those. No. Okay.

Okay. All right. Thanks for checking.

That's awesome. That is awesome. Yeah.

[Говорящий 3]
Yes.

[Говорящий 1]
Those old translation says someone like either way. Oh, yeah, there we go. That's, that's usually a good.

Although sometimes there are definitely cases of him switching. Yeah, like changing when he's translating now. It is.

There are. Yeah. Next.

All right. Yeah. I don't I.

Well, we'll get there. Doc. I think that part's pretty easy.

Doc. Mel not in bed, I think. Yeah.

On my mattress. Yeah. Like lying in my bed.

I just said when I'm. Oh, yeah. While I think in this case, it's just like while lying in bed.

Yeah. Whilst sitting. The knock could be on while sitting on my mattress.

Could be. Even surrounded by Nien She. Like.

Is the shape from Geshe. So like a friend. Nien She is a friend.

Kun. You buy all. All of them.

Yeah. Buy all of them. Gee.

Talk or I think even surrounded by right. Yeah. Or as they circle me.

Talk to her. And circled by. Okay.

This is like if you're dying. No, as I lie upon my deathbed. This is.

That's why I said even while I'm lying in my bed. Yeah. Oh, yeah.

Yeah. Even while I'm on my bed. All my friends and relatives.

I think the Nien is relatives and She is friends. Yeah. That makes sense.

[Говорящий 3]
I remember.

[Говорящий 1]
I remember looking it up and seeing that actually. Your friends and relatives. Yeah.

Even as they surround me. The life leaks out of my body. So Che.

Yeah. Yeah. The feeling of the life leaking out of my body.

Is that what that chain is doing there? It means leaking. Because I thought this was like an explain kind of Che.

But I thought maybe it was like Che with an owl can be used is used both for a tense of cut and a tense of explain. Right. Okay.

Okay. Yeah. So I went with losing like cut.

Meaning. But it's just like.

[Говорящий 2]
I mean, it's, you know, it's Cheda like Bhakra Chetika in the Sanskrit.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah. Yeah. So so Che means kill.

Yeah. This is the. I think this is the more the less active form.

Che pa pong sum me pa. Yeah. Something like that.

Good. Che pa pong sum me pa. And this yee is that short?

That's short for like YED. That's an alternate way to put YED. You're right.

YED makes yeet. Oh, like I feel in my mind. Like just to emphasize feeling.

Or is it just an extra beat for a genitive yee? I thought it was that. Okay.

So Che pa yeet sarwat. It just sounds like it. I think you're right.

Feel my life sucking away, being cut off. So Che pa yeet sarwat. And I also think the dak is there just to.

Because it's not like. I don't know. What do you guys think?

It's like sometimes it's a dualizer. But what would you be dualizing here? Feelings.

It's not dualizing. It's pluralizing. I think it's just feelings.

Oh, okay. The feelings. Yeah.

I have the feelings of death coming upon me while I lie alone and experience it. Dak neet chikpa nyong mor gyur. Yeah.

I experience it by myself. Even though people are all around me. I'm all alone dying.

Yeah. Sage, obviously you can. Yeah, I'll reward them.

Poeticize it. You know, for example, here. Would you be able to take.

In order to make it more to the beat. Do you think you could. I could change, for example, even if I am surrounded.

Yeah. For sure. It's really.

In this case, it's not an if, though. It's more like as I am surrounded. Yeah, I was supposed to say.

Even as I'm surrounded. The kyong, right? Yeah.

Good. Cool. Awesome.

All right. And geese can be like, as like the.

[Говорящий 2]
I mean, for whatever reason. It's. Adi, maybe the in the Sanskrit.

It's et cetera. Or something, right? Marma chedadi.

And I don't know how the doc would do that. I don't feel like it should. But I think it's feelings.

[Говорящий 1]
Honestly, they they use talk. Talk is supposed to be a dualizer, but they use it as a pluralizer all the time.

[Говорящий 2]
Yeah. Yeah. They didn't know.

Technically, I believe is a feminine nominative singular of data.

[Говорящий 1]
Oh, I thought they did not was just feeling. The second, the third heap or whatever, it's just an ending on the.

[Говорящий 2]
And yeah, yeah.

[Говорящий 1]
We didn't know.

[Говорящий 2]
Yeah, yeah, maybe, maybe it's a little. Yeah, cool.

[Говорящий 1]
Sanskrit so cool. So organic.

[Говорящий 2]
It's so organic.

[Говорящий 1]
Cool. I, I think there's something for the knee after that knee that would make it stronger than just I. Yeah, like all by myself or something.

I alone all by myself. Just me, me, myself. That knee cheek is pretty, pretty strong.

Yeah.

[Говорящий 2]
All right. Oh, oh, look. Look out.

Here comes Shinje.

[Говорящий 1]
Okay. Shinje Ponya Shambhala. Niki, you've been shit.

Pen, pen, pen, pen. That's a sonam. She can get the young ducky.

Matento Matento. Matento. Yeah, so the Lord of Death comes to take me away.

Yeah, well, I think it's, it's the Lord of Death's Ponyas, his, his messengers, his.

[Говорящий 2]
Oh, you're right.

[Говорящий 1]
They've already arrived, they've already arrived.

[Говорящий 2]
So what are you? What are you going to do? What are your buddies going to do for you?

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah, how can they help you? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Your relatives.

What are your relatives going to do? And what? Yeah.

What are your friends going to do? Yeah, yeah. I've been in this situation.

I mean, with the IRS. Wait, the Lord of Death comes when the Lord. Like the Lord of Death's messengers.

Yeah, yeah.

[Говорящий 2]
His minions.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah, minions. Lackey, Lackey's. The Lord will come.

Yeah. Simba's like already or something.

[Говорящий 2]
Yeah, have arrived.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah, that's cool too.

[Говорящий 2]
But it is technically have come.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah, yeah.

[Говорящий 2]
Past tense.

[Говорящий 1]
Have come, I think is probably the best. How can your relatives help you? How can your friends help you?

Oh, this is cool. Cool. Yeah.

At that time, only the good deeds you've done alone can help you or something. Yeah. Oh, what do you think, Seiji?

They'd say sonam cheek. Sonam cheek. It's like.

Only your sonam. Oh, no. It's your virtue.

[Говорящий 2]
Can you grab that next verse for us again?

[Говорящий 1]
Well, they'd say so, Seiji means at that time. As we're. At that time, only your good, your virtues can help you.

Yeah, I think so. Protect you even. Yes.

Oh, yes. It could be. It could be take refuge too, Nick.

Yeah. Oh, we can only take refuge in our good deeds. At that time, if you.

Well, it's still at that time, only your good deeds or something. Oh, the sin is not already. It's to grasp.

They've got me. Look, you're. Oh, yeah.

That's nice. Yeah. Yeah.

I've been. Good hitasya. Beautiful.

Yeah. Very nice. Good hitasya.

The lackings have me. Yeah. You in their grasp.

They're grasping me. Yeah, wonderful. Also, instead of have come, it's like have me or something.

Yeah, they grasp. They have you in their grasp. You guys see.

[Говорящий 2]
Down here is sevyatam, like seva, like service.

[Говорящий 1]
Right.

[Говорящий 2]
Like what can serve me?

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah. Deyang, daki, mat, nothing can serve me, right? Yeah.

What can I depend on? That's the ten here, right? You're saying ten is seva?

Well, it's matam. Yeah, I'm sorry. Yeah, it is.

Na sevatam. Na is the matam. Na sevatam.

I think what it says is at that time, only my good deeds can protect me. Nothing else. There's nothing else I can depend on?

Yeah. Nothing else can help me and nothing else I can depend on. I agree.

Virtue can protect me. Yeah, but you have to say at that time to catch the date. Say only.

That's pretty cool. If somebody else's virtue can help protect me, I think I need only our virtue can protect me. I would say my only mixed virtue can protect me now.

Yeah, good luck with that. I know, that doesn't sound like a good deal. But by the way, quick question.

I know in the previous book, we used to talk about we put us in our... What do you guys think about this book? Should we put you and I or...

You know what I mean? He keeps personalizing it. Like I'm the one who didn't do these things and I'm the one...

He keeps saying Doc over and over. Yeah, Doc is quite clearly me. I've seen that in the past.

Geshe Michael tends to change that for us and our... You know? Yeah, he does change it.

Your personal preference, Eiji. Then I think Geshe-la will change it to his personal preference. What did you say, Venerable Upala?

He does change it within a text. And me and us and yeah. So I just have to let it go.

I mean, I think you could write it all from the point of view of me. And just be ready for it to change. I kind of personally think that ours sounds better for me.

Because it sounds a little bit more inclusive. But anyway, we'll leave it up to him. Yeah, I think about King Pakyong from Master Shantideva too.

But our does sound, I think, might be more helpful for the audience in some way. Yep, awesome. Yay, all right, next.

Hold on. You skipped the last line. Do you remember what it means?

Oops. Nope. Uh, ma ten can't protect.

Or no, sorry, can't rely upon. Nothing else? Yeah, there's nothing else I can, we can rely on.

In the Sanskrit, like, nothing else can serve me. No one can serve us. Nothing like, yeah, I think so.

Awesome. All right, cool. Yeah, very.

[Говорящий 2]
All right.

[Говорящий 1]
Gungpo Bakme Dakini, Jipan Dinjama Tselne, Mitak Tsendi Chetak Tu, Dikpan Mangpo Nyenpar Chup. Nyewar. Nyewar.

Nyewar, yep. Gungpo, savior, protector? Mm-hmm, yeah.

Careless, Gungpo Bakme. I've been careless with my protector? Or I've been a careless protector, probably.

Probably, yeah. We'll see. Well, when he's saying bad about something, bad about himself, then I might phrase it with the I.

Yeah, right. Protector. Yeah, we'll see.

I've been a careless protector. I have not sought out things like this fear to, like, protect people from. What do you think?

Yeah, I'm wondering. That's what it literally says. Yeah, from not having searched for things similar to this fear.

We have to read the rest of the verse. Mitak Tsendi, this impermanent life, it's going to be cut, I guess. No, this Tse means appropriate to or for that particular thing.

For the purpose of? For the purpose of, you know, specific to that thing. I have accomplished.

I have thoroughly accomplished many bad deeds. Throughout the, yeah. In order, probably something to the effect of in order to make this impermanent life feel good or something.

It doesn't say that, though. It just says for this impermanent life. So that would become the second line, right?

For this impermanent life? Well, the end of the verse starts by saying, I have thoroughly accomplished many bad deeds for the sake of or this impermanent life or something during this impermanent life. I haven't.

I'm just reading it line by line backwards. But that's not going to be 100% right. So you don't have to translate it this fast.

I'm confused. I think I got it. What do you think?

I think you were doing it right. I have accomplished many horrible things for the purposes of this life. Like, I've done horrible things in this life.

Yeah. By not searching out, by not looking for the fear, I have been a horrible protector instead of, you know, something like that. I think that's basically it.

That's where I'm getting confused, though. Jigpa Dee Dharmatana. Like, by not...

By not protecting others is what I think it's getting at. Yeah. Oh.

Yeah. Because he's supposed to be a protector, but he was careless. So he didn't look for fear to help people.

He didn't. And then, therefore, he instead tried to accomplish things for this impermanent life. And by doing that, he accomplished many bad.

So maybe Jigpa, in this case, has, like, scared people. Yeah. I think the fear is a problem.

Having sought out those in fear. Anybody else? Thoughts?

Yeah, that actually looks pretty good. I kind of like the way that it flows, even though we did it completely opposite. Like, what do you think, Adam?

I just noticed that I haven't sought out. Oh, yeah. Nice.

Okay, cool. Did we get the Sanskrit on that one?

[Говорящий 2]
Yes.

[Говорящий 1]
Let's see. Thanks for doing that, Venerable Chodron.

[Говорящий 2]
Yeah, it's wonderful.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah, Nitya, impermanent, right? Jiva. Life.

I don't know that ending. Idam. This one.

Bahyam. What's Bahyam? Kam.

I don't know.

[Говорящий 2]
Fear. Oh, yeah.

[Говорящий 1]
Oh, yeah, you're right.

[Говорящий 2]
Yeah.

[Говорящий 1]
So, ajanata is search out, maybe? I don't know.

[Говорящий 2]
From knowing, not knowing. Sorry, Christina. Janata is people.

I'm not sure what that alpha privative is doing there.

[Говорящий 1]
Oh, but that's kind of cool. That's a jikpa, right? Oh, janata means people.

Yeah, probably it's jikpa. People in Bahyamajanata would probably be like cheetahs. Scared people?

Yeah, scared people. Yeah, I haven't protected scared people. You were right, Nick, jikpa, like it's a jikpa, like scared people.

Yeah, those in fear. Let's see what else. Pramatena.

What's that maya? To create? To make?

[Говорящий 2]
No, that's, it's not by me, or if it's a noun, it's illusion, or.

[Говорящий 1]
Right, I don't think it's illusion here. I think it's by me. By me makes sense.

And nata is protector, right? Like nata. Yeah, good.

I don't know bahu. I don't, bahu means arm. Means what?

Your arm. That doesn't really make sense. It could be an idiom.

I used to know papam. Papam is jikpa. Oh, yeah, yeah.

[Говорящий 2]
Could it be, can it mean much or many? Like bahuvrihi, right? Much.

[Говорящий 1]
It does, yeah. It does. Yeah, many bad deeds.

I accomplished.

[Говорящий 2]
I acquired, yeah. Mm-hmm.

[Говорящий 1]
Something interesting that if nata means gumpo, this is a rare, if that's true, this is a rare occurrence of the word in the Sanskrit occurring in the second line when it's in the first of the Tibetan. But is it possible that idam is gumpo? I think.

It means like this. Yeah. I mean, no.

The jikpa d, idam bahyam. Okay.

[Говорящий 2]
Definitely, definitely nata.

[Говорящий 1]
Okay, okay. Yeah, nata is protected, natarajra. Oh, yeah, yeah.

Cool. Well, that's interesting because Geshe Michael said that that's really rare, that you'd see that, but I guess that did happen. But yeah, the Tibetan word order is backwards, so.

Yeah, totally. So it makes sense that this one just got all mixed up.

[Говорящий 2]
Cool. All right, cool.

[Говорящий 1]
All right, so next one. We have four minutes officially. So, okay.

Okay. It's an exclamation of fear. An exclamation.

Oh. Dre. What?

I don't think they, not Dr. Dre. I don't think they say Dre. I think Dre is the exclamation.

Okay. What's, so what's chepesar? Is that like a new?

A new division of a person or something? Well, kebo yenlak, someone's arm? Someone's appendage?

Yeah, totally. Yeah, chepa, cut off. Cut off.

This, the sar. I think sar is a place where they are going to cut their body and limbs. Yeah, at the place where your limb has been removed.

The place on the body or the place that they're doing the cutting? I bet you it's on the body, but let's see. What's the Sanskrit?

It should be bhumi or something, right? That's the cut, but oh. Oh, artham.

Yeah, artham, like place or something.

[Говорящий 2]
Execution ground. Execution ground, that's nice. Yeah, the place where you bring someone to be drawn and quartered.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah, so it's the place of the cutting, not the place on the body. Okay. That's cool.

Okay, the place where they cut people up. Not fun. You can hear the screams from far away.

Maybe it doesn't say here, but I'm just wondering how the joy fits in here. Yeah, the screams, yeah. But what's the tripa?

They are led there and also they scream? I wonder. Is he already in hell?

Is that what happened? Maybe. Let's read the last two lines and see.

Well, the ponies were taking him away already. Oh, right. Yeah, that's, yeah.

He got taken and now he's like, I was a bad protector. I did horrible things. So now I'm getting cut up and maybe one of the hells or something.

Let's see. Okay. Hotcom is probably a hint.

Hotcom means thirsty. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Something like that.

Dry mouth. Yeah. But what this D should have an alo on it.

What is this D ring? Yeah. It's not.

I wonder if it's just a mistake. Maybe it's an old way to say today, like daring. Maybe.

D ring. Oh, no, that's. I have a feeling.

DDD, I just looked it up in the dictionary. This is completely different. But DDD means like a noise or a sound or a ringing or a buzz.

I don't know. I'm just looking at weird meanings because we also have that Drey up above. Yeah, that's in the great dictionary.

It means screams of fear. Yeah, I see. I don't know.

It's after time, but we certainly can tell that this old verse.

[Говорящий 3]
Chiba means the line on the line to the execution ground. And you are afraid.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah, that's what we're saying. I'm led far off to the execution ground. Also, there's I'm screaming.

And I'm thirsty. I'm thirsty and my eyes are. Sorry.

Yeah, this is what Chinese say.

[Говорящий 3]
Your mouth is dry and your eye coming bigger and bigger.

[Говорящий 1]
Oh. Here it says something like. It doesn't say bigger, right?

It says like they're wearing out or something. They're. Something like they have no more power or something being worse.

Yeah, getting worse. Yeah. Yeah, exactly.

Getting worse. Yeah. And before me, others appear.

What is that? Right. Probably.

[Говорящий 3]
And the previous karma appeared to me in front of me.

[Говорящий 1]
Karma? Yeah. Yeah, it's karma.

Do we have the Sanskrit for this one? Yeah, that would be really helpful. I know.

Yeah, I'm just going to say karma. Yeah, that'll be a word that we all know.

[Говорящий 2]
No, it doesn't.

[Говорящий 1]
Oh, are you looking at it already?

[Говорящий 2]
It's in the chat. I've provided it currently for us. Oh, I see.

[Говорящий 1]
I don't see a link. Is the ngale evakshate?

[Говорящий 2]
What's jagat? That usually means world, like loka. Really?

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah. Oh, but and that has a connotation of nang, right? Yeah, nang, like appearance, right?

I mean, I know that there's a relationship there, but also durshta could have to do with that. Oh, no, that's meek. That's meek in the previous.

[Говорящий 2]
Oh, yeah. Eva, and I think it's Eva and ikshate, which is like to see.

[Говорящий 1]
Oh, yeah.

[Говорящий 2]
Right, the A and the I come together to make an E.

[Говорящий 1]
Oh. Once upon a time.

[Говорящий 2]
Eva is like, indeed, or very much so. It's probably the so.

[Говорящий 1]
Oh. And anya is other, right, shen? Yeah, for sure.

So do we think the durshtir is the nang or the? Meek. Durshtir has got to be the meek.

Meek. Oh, yeah, right, right, right, meek. Right, anyone, what about the tsa, anything that means root in here?

Anything like that? I don't see anything. Maybe that, oh, no, dina, pipasito.

Yeah, what's dina, Dr. Kasica?

[Говорящий 3]
Um. Let me see.

[Говорящий 1]
I don't know.

[Говорящий 2]
It's like a wretch, or.

[Говорящий 1]
Oh, really?

[Говорящий 2]
Oh, yeah.

[Говорящий 1]
It could also mean day.

[Говорящий 2]
Wouldn't go with our nen too well.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah, it means he's falling apart. My mouth is dry, my eyes are in pain, everything. Yeah.

Yeah, but what, so no verdict on the le, karma. Yeah, well, because that's interesting. The Chinese just goes right to karma.

But to all of us, we would think that from in front of me, right? Yeah, right before my eyes, all this appears or something. Yeah.

Other other things like this appear. But shendugur in Tibetan, doesn't that, that could be variable too. Um.

Right, to change shengur. Uh.

[Говорящий 2]
Oh, right, nang is the other seeing, right? So we do have two vision words, right? We've got.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah.

[Говорящий 2]
Right.

[Говорящий 1]
Exactly.

[Говорящий 3]
Yeah, and dina can also mean very bad or, you know, very.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah. Evil.

[Говорящий 2]
Very bad thirst. Do you think he's in hell right now? Sounds like it.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah.

[Говорящий 2]
Yeah, I mean, Gilse suggested even charnel grounds, perhaps, right? That's where you go to cut up a body once you're dead.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah, right. There wouldn't be screams there. Everyone's dead.

But no, but I looked up, Dre could also. Well, I guess you still wouldn't be fear because you'd be dead. Yeah, it's like screams of fear, like something of fear.

It could just be fear. Yeah, be afraid, Drengur. I'm, I'm led to and also afraid or something.

Yeah, afraid, frightened, alarmed. Yeah, and if he was dead, he wouldn't be thirsty. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

So. Dude's not dead yet. Just a theory.

I don't know. Yeah, interesting. I have a feeling the lei is not supposed to be karma.

That's my. Who translated the Chinese Gibson? Is it modern or is it old?

I don't know who changed it. I just watched the doodle past the Chinese version here. Yeah.

All right. We don't want to be openly criticizing Xuan Song on Xuan Song's tower.

[Говорящий 2]
That's why I'm checking. I'm like, wait, who did it?

[Говорящий 1]
Clearly not Master Xuan Song himself.

[Говорящий 2]
All right.

[Говорящий 1]
Well, do you want to do like, well, we're almost out of time. Do you want to have five minutes of discussion before the Peachtree World News? All right.

Yeah, let's do it. Okay. Oh, let's see.

Well, this is all the continuing the last class theme of. Out of our ignorance, our liking, disliking, we do these negative deeds that eventually take us to. Health.

Yeah, this is. Well, today was pretty grim. After all that, what happens after you die?

Just like what I like is he continues the theme of you're going to forget your family and friends, but even as you're dying, they cannot help you. Only seeds help you. And then you'll be taken to hell, cut up in pieces.

Because we didn't protect the people that needed protecting. Well, how to make it. On the flip side, yeah, if you do lots of nice things to help people.

To protect you under many circumstances. Today, I went surfing and it was fine. I mean, it wasn't very good, but there was a strong rip current and a lifeguard actually came over to me and was like, hey, just so you know, there's a really strong.

Like you might want to just go over there. And I was like, thank you. That's kind of nice to know that people are watching your back.

I mean. So maybe is there a way to plant seeds that when you die? You are protected.

I think that the answer is live your entire life very ethically. I mean, more specifically, I think also, I know in Guadalajara we have a lot of friends that do palliative care. So I think definitely trying to support those kind of projects at some point in our life is a good idea.

And generally, I mean, I think he's doubling down on death meditation, toothbrush meditation, as we call it in DCA. And now with the negative aspects of what happens if you don't do it and if you don't. Yeah.

If you keep hurting people, anyone else in the chat has any or in the call has any ideas they would like to contribute?

[Говорящий 3]
It brings to me that.

[Говорящий 2]
We are alone outside. I speak again. It brings to me that we actually we are alone outside.

It's just illusion. So this reminds me that we don't need to attest liking and disliking to people, our friends, enemies, liking, disliking. No attestment, because actually the fact we are alone outside is just illusion.

[Говорящий 1]
Yeah, yeah. OK, awesome. Thank you.

Anyone else?

[Говорящий 3]
Hmm.

[Говорящий 1]
I think it can help, but I don't think it will be effective unless we have the seeds to back it up. Right? Deja, can you repeat the question briefly for the people who weren't in the English channel?

Oh, yes. So the question asked was, as we're dying, some traditions say you just say a little mantra to Amitabha so that it would take you to his heaven. So taking this, what we saw today, would that be effective?

So my answer was, well, I would say it could help, but only if we have spent a lifetime of helping people, if we have the seeds to back that up. I don't think words by themselves can do good. I mean, that can have that big effect.

Unless. Yeah. So maybe it would be as effective as asking.

Well, you know, it's funny because you mentioned that. But what I've heard is that one of the best things to do as you're dying is to actually think of your teacher. In terms of what seeds, well, I think, and I'll invite my co-mix nuts to jump in, but in my opinion, it's all about trying to spend as much time as possible protecting life.

Kind of like what Nick just said, if you have any small opportunities to that because of your actions, someone will not die or someone will have a longer life. And more particularly for death. Again, I think for me, palliative care, which means when people help other people, like doctors usually, help people have a peaceful passing.

I think that's a very good seed to have that. And classically, Luo Zhong is the right, well, I think we've all heard that story of this super Luo Zhong master that wanted to go to hell to help people, and because of this motivation, he actually instead went to paradise. So I think this, yes, studying mix nuts basically and practicing.

Now, I think that's a great answer. I was thinking of that story. I think that's Geshe Chikawa, maybe.

And I think that, yeah, I mean, just to add to what you just said to reinforce, it seems to me that the more time of your life that you can spend thinking about wishing to help other people be free of pain, the better. And it seems like one of the underpinnings of this whole philosophy is the more that our mind is habituated, whatever our mind is most habituated to, like the deepest habits is what the mind is going to resort to at the moment of death. But that's one way that I interpret it anyway.

Yeah, it all has to be done with wisdom, you know? So the more we're in these classes, I think the more powerful the seed comes. And we all know that Geshe Michael, I think, I'm definitely not speaking for him, but just my understanding of the sentiment is that this is kind of acting as a translator, attending these classes is kind of like the highest way that we can serve him too.

And just making sure that we carry on the lineage. So there's almost this aspect of like just sitting in these classes. I think like Seiji was saying, it's like just being here and studying the mixed nuts is itself karma.

[Говорящий 2]
And it might very well be one of the highest forms of karma that we could be offering to the world, because it's, I mean, from our motivation, we're all trying to become Buddhas, right? And so every second that we kind of engage in to trying to reach that final goal with correct motivation and wisdom, you know, is really an ultimate.

[Говорящий 1]
We say like, OK, well, maybe we should be doing palliative care, or maybe we should be doing some sort of like, but we are serving everybody right now.

[Говорящий 2]
And we are protecting everybody. We're protecting the world. So yeah, I think I was just kind of reiterating a couple of things that I've already heard you guys say.

[Говорящий 1]
Cool. Awesome. And actually, you know what, Adam, what you just said, we just came back from Shenzhen, we did advanced level one.

And in that one, Geshe Michael talks about doing conventional methods, making sure that you have the seeds behind it. And the cool thing is, he says, also mix in the understanding of emptiness. So yeah, come here, like do good deeds, plant the seeds and understand what we're talking about.

It's the cocktail. Yeah, the cocktail. Speaking of cocktails, it's time for Juan Hasso to present the Peachtree World News.

And then we'll come back and we'll have another class with Adam, where we're going to study logic. So take a refreshment break, get your thinking cap on, make your mind ready for some tough stuff. All right, Hasso, take it away.

Nice to see you. Nice to see you too. Thank you very much.

So yeah, use this time to refresh if you need, go to the bathroom or stay here with us. We're going to share a little bit of what's coming up. And today, especially, we are sharing with you something of what happened during the PREMA YSI event, right?

Like a few days ago, we talked about the Team Lowern Hub event, mostly steps on the path happening in Kyoto. We already showed a short video about it. Then during this trip to Japan in Kyoto, after Team Lowern Hub event, we had the YSI event.

And this is the one we want to show you today. But first, let's go just for a little bit of general news happening. And just letting you know, we're going to share the screen with you.

And let's start. Today is the first day of DSEU happening in Japan. So as Seiji just mentioned, first, our friends, Geshe-la, they had a trip to China.

They have wonderful, mostly DCI events. Apparently, the event was a complete success. DCI advanced level number one, about turning problems into opportunities.

It was very, very great. And then they came, they arrived to Japan just last night, masterpieces, turning problems into masterpieces. So that was the event, the DCI event.

And then last night they arrived to Japan. They are getting ready to have sessions, DSEU sessions. Starting from today, they are going to run until the 21st and the 22nd.

The plan is to fly back to the US. Okay, so, but soon, before the end of this month, there is going to be a few things happening. It's the next picture, please.

And that's going to be the special session and class that Erli is going to be leading, representing YSI. And it's called the Inner Kingdom. You still have time to sign up if you're interested in this.

Geshe-la gave a few talks during his three-year retreat. He even, sorry, not he, but you know the stories like some of the students take notes and then they make books about it. So I think it was our dear friend Jigme who was taking notes.

And then there's like a series of books based on this wonderful teaching Erli is going to be going through. So there is also other recordings, amazing. And Erli is going to be going through some of these teachings during these events.

I think it's going to be very, very cool. You can register following the QR code. Teachings that Geshe-la was sharing during his three-year retreat.

Okay, next picture, please. Just for you to know, I'm talking about this YSI event today. Benji and Erli are every week sharing some cool classes about different topics, mostly like pranayamas or breath work, meditation, asana movement.

Can you show the next one, please? Yeah, both Erli and Benji are doing these classes. Just for you to know, if you feel like you want to learn more in general, how to enhance your practice in pranayama, meditation, asana or the theory behind these techniques, you can definitely join these classes and spend some time with them.

Ask your questions, get more information. A lot of the retreat that just happened in Japan was based on this content. Four topics mostly happened during this event.

And it was meditation. They went very deep into it. It was how to breathe correctly with special techniques, pranayama.

How to do asana, of course. Philosophy of these three. But also they focus very interestingly on how to develop a good heart.

And we're going to show you a video very, very soon just to finish these events. Also, next picture. Just to remind you that Innovation Retreat is coming very, very soon.

And their first sessions are going to be mid-July, a little before mid-July. But then you can see in August, they are planning something in Sedona. Then in September, Diamond Mountain.

Next one, please. Just to keep reminding you that at the end of July, there is going to be a very cool retreat happening on the Angel Debates the Devil. But before that, you can catch up and get to be updated into the topics that Geshe-la is going to be talking about during this retreat.

With this pre-series that actually they are Geshe Michael recorded classes on this topic. And also some commentaries or Q&As from different teachers. We already have one with Nicola Shaw.

Another one with Gielse. And this next one, July the 6th, is going to be with Tim Lowenhaupt. So you're going to be watching a class with Geshe-la.

And then here's some commentaries by Tim Lowenhaupt. And if you want to register for the actual retreat, is the next picture, please. Again, at the end of July.

There is like about a month and two weeks for that. About that. So it's coming up very, very soon.

And finally, just to mention, yes, that the Hatha Yoga Pradipika is going to be happening in Sedona in November 14. You have time. You can start planning your trip if you want to come to the college, to Sedona.

Wonderful, wonderful classes. You can also watch online, but it's fun being live there in the building. Finally, just to rejoice about like, oh, well, yeah, you can also sign up for this pre-retreat because in October, Geshe-la is going to be teaching in Diamond Mountain, retreat in Diamond Mountain about Master Nagarjuna and some practices on how to develop good health.

So if you're interested, you have the time. You can go one week in advance, get some context of what's going on. Get your mind and your spirit, your body into the correct mood to go into retreat.

It's a pre-retreat one week before Geshe-la's teachings to settle your mind, your being into retreat. It's going to be led by Gyalse mostly. And then the next one, please.

Next picture. Diamond Mountain in October, mid-October with Geshe Michael. So one after the other.

OK, so lastly, what I wanted to say is that I hear very good news regards with the retreat is happening in Barcelona. There is a retreat happening in Barcelona that Serrani and David are running. I thought the picture was around, but if it's not there, we'll show you later.

Just to share that I hear there is more than 100 people that have registered already. And I think that was wonderful. So more than 100 people are going to this retreat.

You can still join. Probably it's still at the end of October. If you're interested, you can follow the QR code and check it out.

So it's wonderful. Congratulations. 100 people for this retreat already registered.

And there is more months to come for maybe more people to join. Just rejoicing about that. OK, so without saying much because of timing, let's just show you.

OK, we're going to show you because the time we have very little time. The video is long. So this time I just want to share with you maybe the first three minutes of the video.

Whenever it's time, we're going to have to cut it down. And maybe next time or soon we can show you the full video. But let's at least show a little bit of the video.

Maybe three minutes, something like that. OK, let's go for it. Thank you so much.

And next we go with Adam. Maybe the sound. Well, I don't hear anything.

I think that's not. Well, you know what? Maybe we should leave the video for next time because it's almost.

It's almost 5.30 in Arizona time. And it's time for Adam to start a class. The video is long.

So really, you're not going to be able to appreciate it much. And also, I don't know where the sound, the music was not playing. So maybe it's just better to leave it for next time and just go with Adam.

If you're all OK, we can do that. Pretty much it's actually now it's time.

[Говорящий 2]
So it was shorter.

[Говорящий 1]
Thank you so much. Hope you're enjoying. But we want to show you what happened with YSI, what happened with Heart Sutra and more soon.

See you. Thank you so much, Juan, for the update.
