[Speaker 1] Okay, because today is an important day, we're going to take commitment. The best meditation we can do is to collect some good seeds, clean out some bad seeds, and bring our teacher, our heart teacher, into our heart. So we'll do the, you know, usual preliminary meditation. People think, oh, that meditation is not too sexy. Geshe-la does that all the time. We want some new, crazy emptiness meditation. But really, that one's the most powerful. Okay, so please get ready. Clear your throat. Turn off your cell phone, and relax. Little smile, before you close your eyes. Eyelids are relaxed. Fingers are relaxed. Stomach is pulled in a little bit. Shoulders go back, and shoulders go down. Forehead is relaxed. And then try not to move. And slowly come to your breath. Long exhales. Then in your mind, please invite your heart teacher to come. They're sitting down in front of you. And you can feel the warmth from their body. And a beautiful smell, like a jasmine flower. [Speaker 2] And they're looking at you with great love. [Speaker 1] Then think about one thing, one quality that they have, that you would like to learn from them. Then make them an offering. I think a very nice offering is all the time and hard work you did to get here, and to listen to all these classes. It takes a lot of courage and strength. [Speaker 1] Then open your heart and confess to your teacher something negative you did in the last 24 hours. Maybe you were impatient with someone, or maybe you were a little pushy with someone. Then please tell your teacher something beautiful you did in the last 24 hours. Usually it means you took your time, that you wanted to do something for yourself, and you gave it to somebody else to serve them and make them happy. Then ask your teacher for teaching. If we just ask, they will teach. If we don't ask, it's difficult. [Speaker 2] If we just ask, they will teach. If we don't ask, it's difficult. [Speaker 1] Then ask them to stay in our life. Everybody needs someone to guide them in life. If it's someone very wise and someone who stays very close, then our life is a lot easier. [Speaker 2] Then think about all the good karma you've made in the last few days, and send it out to the people of this country. [Speaker 1] The people of your own country. And the people everywhere. [Speaker 2] Not just this world, but many worlds. [Speaker 1] Then please come back to your breath. Three long exhales. [Speaker 2] Then slowly you can open your eyes. [Speaker 1] Take a stretch. Nice, very quiet. [Speaker 2] Very quiet. Very good.
