[Speaker 1]
Third meditation. New one. Joe sent us beauty.

Two kinds of beauty. Joe sent whatever beauty you have in your face. I have blue eyes.

I like them. But I didn't do anything to get them. Joe sent them to me.

Okay, then we feel, what do you call? Vanity? Pride.

Oh, I have blue eyes.

[Speaker 2]
I have nice teeth.

[Speaker 1]
Oh, my ear has good shape. You didn't do anything. Joe gave you that.

You were born with that. But still you feel, oh, I'm so great. But it's a gift to you from Joe.

Are you consuming it, or are you serving with it?

[Speaker 2]
Are you just using it? Up? Burning it?

Up?

[Speaker 1]
Or are you using it to make more karma?

[Speaker 2]
You seem happy with it.

[Speaker 1]
I like that.

[Speaker 2]
You're either a consumer, or you're a server. If Joe gave you healthy body, and some beauty, then use it. Help people.

Don't just play with it.

[Speaker 1]
Get more boyfriends. Like that, okay? You have a choice.

What you do with what Joe gave you, you have a choice. If you decide to use it to get more boyfriends, you're a consumer, and you will lose it, and you'll get older. You will lose all those things.

If you serve with them, they will get more beautiful. A few old people are more beautiful than young. That's because they were serving people.

Like yoga. Joe gave you good body to do yoga. I can do this, or I can do this.

That's because Joe gave that body to you. If you serve with it, you can do yoga for many years. Dharmamitra is how old?

Seventy?

[Speaker 2]
Seventy-six.

[Speaker 1]
He's still doing what do you call it? No, it's called Niralambana shushasana. Niralambana shushasana.

With no hand, he's doing headstand. Okay, anyway, it's because he's so nice to people, and he serves people. Okay, so we're ...

so that's inside beauty. Then there's outside beauty. Who made this unbelievably beautiful place?

Who made the sky blue? Okay, who made the beauty you hear in the birds, or the ocean? Okay, so the beauty you hear, the beauty you see, Joe sent it to you.

Okay, the sky was blue when you were born, the day you were born. You didn't do anything.

[Speaker 2]
But it can go black if you're a consumer.

[Speaker 1]
If you just use that karma, then one day you will lose the blue sky, and it will be darkness.

[Speaker 2]
Most people go that way.

[Speaker 1]
So, we're going to do a meditation. It's a very pleasant five minutes. What kind of beauty did Joe give you in your body?

Everybody has fingers. We are not all handsome like Stanley, but Joe gave me fingers. They're very useful.

All of us can be happy about our fingers. Alright, and think about the beauty you have, and the beauty in your world. Even just the sky.

The sky, this world's sky is super beautiful. And many people don't have it. Okay, we are lucky.

[Speaker 2]
Joe did a good job.

[Speaker 1]
What created the beauty of your face, the strength of your yoga body? Who could make the sky blue? What did Joe do to make those things?

[Speaker 2]
Joe didn't get upset. Okay, in the traffic, in Mexico City, Joe was like, okay, you know, and when people say, you are stupid, he's like, you are stupid.

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, okay. You know, and the dinner wasn't ready on time. Joe's like, great, I can do a five minute meditation.

Maybe four or five of them. He's just so chill, chill.

[Speaker 2]
He's so chill.

[Speaker 1]
Okay, that karma created everything beautiful about you. So are you going to be as chill as Joe was? If you're more chill than Joe, the sky where you live will do amazing things.

I'll show you a picture outside their house.

[Speaker 2]
Let me send it to you right now.

[Speaker 1]
So if you're a server of beauty, no, sorry, of not getting upset, then the blue sky will get more amazing. And you will keep seeing unbelievable things happening in the sky. And if you're a consumer, that's outside of Scott Urich's house.

[Speaker 2]
Like last week, whole sky, beautiful pink color, yeah, so if you're, if you do better than Joe, more patient than Joe, then everything becomes more beautiful.

[Speaker 1]
But if you're not, then bad weather, and your face will get old. Okay?

[Speaker 2]
So we're going to do a meditation about beauty.

[Speaker 1]
The beauty in your body and the beauty around you. Think about where did it come from. Nothing comes from nothing.

What's that song? Nothing comes from nothing. Nothing ever could.

Sound the music. That's before your time. John Brady knows about it.

Nothing comes from nothing. Nothing ever could. She's talking, she's singing about her boyfriend.

And she says, she looks at how handsome he is, and she says, I must have done something good.

[Speaker 2]
I'll play it for you.

[Speaker 1]
That's true. She's thinking correct. That's Buddhist thinking.

I have some beauty. My sky is blue. I must have done something good.

Okay, you ready? So this meditation is very pleasant. All the beauty in your life.

Your partner, Ria's face. Your baby. Papi's baby.

All of those sent to you by not getting upset. Okay, here we go. Come back to your breath.

After a five minute meditation, always do three quiet breaths. And then you can come out and stretch. I like this app.

Automatically it shows you the faces of everyone who was meditating during that time in the world. It's like 500 people. We're meditating during that five minutes.

Very cool.
