So please sit up straight. Relax your mouth, the corners of your mouth. Relax your eyelids.

Please relax your shoulders. Pull in your stomach a little bit. Relax your hands, fingers.

Smile a little bit. Please start to watch your breath. Please pretend you are lying on your back in the grass.

The day is warm. The sunlight feels good on your body. You are watching the sky.

Just a blue sky. No clouds. You cannot see trees or buildings.

Just relax here and try to be peaceful. We'll stay here for a few minutes. And please be aware of the space that your body is filling.

It's not air. When you sit down, the air in that place has to move out of that place. But that's not the same as place.

Think about the place in the empty space that your body is sitting inside of. That space doesn't have to move when you sit down. That space is always there.

Whether you are in the room or not. So as you lie on the grass, feel the space that your body is inside. Now feel your body.

Try to be aware it is coming from seeds in your mind. The body which came from your mother, but was not caused by your seeds. That body doesn't exist.

Focus on your body, which came from your mother, but did not come from your mind. That body is not there. That body was never there.

If you are still young and strong, this is coming from seeds in your mind. Those seeds will finish. So let the old body grow.

The one which is sustained by healthy food and exercise. Go deeper. Try to question what gives the healthy food power.

Why does exercise change my body? It's only helping other people. So let the old body drop away, which is not coming from your own seeds in your mind.

And stay in that space, the deepest space, space number four. And we'll stay there for a few minutes. Slowly please come back to the sky.

Watch the sky. Then watch your breath going into the sky. Please slowly open your eyes.

Take a stretch. Any questions about the meditation?

[Говорящий 2] (23:48 - 24:10)
Everything we experience are changing things. Our experiences, everything we experience, it's all changing. So it comes from mind.

It's projection. Space is not a changing thing. Is it a projection of mind?

[Говорящий 1] (24:11 - 44:57)
Yeah, it's a good question. So there's a famous other question. If we answer that one, I think we can answer yours.

If all the places are coming from seeds in my mind, and if you're going to be a Buddhist, you have to think like that. All the people in this room are coming from your mind. This beautiful place is coming from your mind.

All the good things coming from you. And all the bad things also. Then if your life is getting better, you get to go to a retreat in Guadalajara and you meet so many beautiful people.

Then you have to congratulate yourself. Good job Geshe Michael. So every time you meet a nice person, you have to think, oh my practice is getting better.

And every time you have a problem, you have to think, oh I need to fix that with my own behavior, with my seeds. Then slowly your life gets better and better. But then somebody had a question.

If everybody's coming from my seeds, then the world is very lonely. Then I'm the only person in the world. Everybody is just pictures in my mind.

Then they feel very uncomfortable. It's like I'm alone. I'm completely alone.

Then somebody asked this question to Master Dharmakirti. About 13 centuries ago. And in reply he wrote a book called Shengyu Jupa.

It's one of the seven famous books of logic. Sema De Dun, Sema De Dun. And then he said, it's true other people are coming from you, and they are growing from seeds in your mind.

But they are, now here's the part okay, but they are growing as outside people. They are growing as independent people with their own minds. So the book title is Shengyu Jupa, means proving that other people exist outside of me.

But he didn't call the book, it's not proving other people exist. It's actually called proving other minds exist. So, not only do I project Daniel, Daniel is coming from my mind.

Number one. Number two. He's coming from my mind as an outside person.

Number three. He's coming from my mind as an outside person with his own mind. Then what's number four?

He's coming from me as an outside person with his own mind who's making me for him. Okay, so everything's okay. You can go to Starbucks with your friend, and they are not you.

They are not you. They are a separate person with their own mind, their own seeds, and their own life. Why, but her question is not that.

Her question is, and it's a very good question, some of the things which we see are changing. For example, when I lay on the grass and I look at the sky, you can see clouds coming and going. You can see color changes as the sun goes down.

So that blue sky is changing. First kind of space is changing. I should do Chinese way.

First kind of space is changing. Second kind of space, is it changing or not? The black sky and the stars.

Is it changing or not? It's always changing. They're always moving.

That's another story. In ancient times they believed some part of the space is not moving. And it took many centuries and many controversies to prove that everything is moving.

So the second space is also changing. What about the third one? I put the pen in this space, in this place, akupado, and then I take it out of the space.

Did that space change? We say no. I'm not talking about the air.

The air is a positive thing. You push the pen into this place and other air has to go out. If you push the pen into that space, the air has to move.

And you remove the pen and the air will come back. That's not empty space. Empty space is place.

Location. Occupied? Not occupied.

But it doesn't change. If you destroy this temple and you destroy the whole planet, that space will stay there. So that space is unchanging.

Then the fourth space, most difficult, there's a place where Geshe Michael is sitting. That space allows me to be here. What is that space?

It's the truth that nothing is not coming from my mind. Two negatives. The truth that there is no Geshe Michael here who is not coming from his mind.

Gives Geshe Michael, who is coming from his mind, a place to stay. That one you just have to cook. If you make good karma, one day you're like, oh, I get it.

You just have to cook, reflect, and if you sow good seeds and good karma, one day you're going to understand it. There's a word called KUN ZHI. Say KUN ZHI.

KUN ZHI. KUN means everything. ZHI means place to stay.

Like this floor, it's KUN ZHI for all the people sitting on it. The big machine comes and make a flat place here. Then they make a floor.

Then that's a KUN ZHI for all the 180 bottoms. Gives them place to stay. Emptiness is the same.

It's a deeper KUN ZHI. It gives you a place to stay. It gives you a place to be.

Now, difference between space number three and space number four. Space number three gives you a place to be located. Space number four gives you possibility to exist.

Do you feel the difference? Empty space gives Geshe Michael a place to sit. KUN ZHI, emptiness, KUN ZHI, emptiness, gives me a place to be.

But that's also not her question. Her question is very deep. Seeds are opening in the mind, 65 per second.

They are creating all these things. Everything I see is created by ... you like you have a fuente, fountain?

You can see the shape of the fountain, but actually it's changing every second. The water is moving, all of the water is moving all the time. So I look at Daniel.

My mind is making 65 Daniels per second. He looks like he's sitting there, but he's a fountain sustained by my seeds opening very fast. So Nancy's question, when I'm sitting on the grass, laying on the grass, and you tell me to think about the space which allows me to exist, which is emptiness, we all know emptiness doesn't change.

But we also know everything comes from seeds. So it seems contradiction. When I look at that space in my mind, I see an emptiness, but actually that's like a fountain.

Many images coming one after the other. That's changing. So how do we solve this problem?

She said the perception changes, but not the emptiness. Good, yeah. The karma, which is the seed, to be able to see emptiness, of course that changes all the time.

But the emptiness, because some people forget what they saw, or some people never could understand, and later they can understand. But how can we use the book proving other people exist in this case? I learned this from the Batman movie.

Joker's always going. It helps you think, okay? A good translation.

How can we use that other book? By proving another person that it exists, and it comes from your mind. And it's all about changing in that space, and it exists.

And it's all about changing in that space, and when that thing observes you back, looks back at you, your mind sees yourself being able to occupy that space, because that space is part of your mind. So everything works very well. When you focus on yourself existing in a space, that's also coming from your mind.

And when you think about the space that you are in, that space is also coming from seeds in your mind. But you perceive them as unchanging. I perceive Daniel as an outside person.

Is he coming from my mind? Yes. For me, does he only exist as coming from my seeds?

Yes. But does he exist as outside person? Yes.

Does he exist as outside person with his own mind? Independent mind? Yes.

And does he exist as such a good external independent mind that he can also watch me? Yes. When you are meditating about space number four, and you are focusing on the philosophical space that allows you to exist, you create that space as unchanging.

Now you have to, now that's all the information I have, you have to cook on it. But it's a very, very good question. Think about Dharmakirti.

I project Daniel as a separate person. And my changing mind and my changing seeds create a place for me to exist which is not changing. Okay, one more small...

By the way, it's a very important question. Doesn't that mean we are all one mind? Okay, his question is doesn't that mean we are all one mind?

Why? Okay. Well, there's a reason for my life and a seed of so-called my seed of so-called has to come in.

[Говорящий 2] (45:00 - 45:09)
Being an independent person with his own mind, and eventually exponentially it has to come from one source.

[Говорящий 1] (45:10 - 47:07)
If everything is so perfect and my seeds allow me to project Daniel coming from one mind and everything is inside one mind exponentially, everything works as one mind. So, Mark's saying, I agree other people come from me. And I agree that they come from me as having their own mind.

But doesn't that mean there's like one mind which is growing all the other ones? And what I, my answer is that for you, for you, that's true. Then for Daniel, they're all growing from one mind but the first mind was his.

And that's why in Buddhism you can go to heaven by changing your seeds. Because then all the people will change as you change. As you become a Buddha or an angel, then they must become.

So that's good. Okay, good. We'll go back to the book.

Very good questions. They say if you have good students in the class, you don't have to talk much. Let them ask questions.

All the book will come in the questions. Okay.
