[Speaker 1]
So, we spent ten days talking about the places you can go after you die, because the world is coming from seeds in your mind. So, I guess we better start with the pen. Okay, you heard this before, I don't care.

We're going to do it one more time.

[Speaker 2]
We did it in Hong Kong recently, and because so many people heard it before, I taught how to teach it, which is more fun.

[Speaker 1]
Okay, so I'm going to teach you how to teach it.

[Speaker 2]
If you teach it correctly, then the people listening to you cannot go to a bad place after they die.

[Speaker 1]
Why is that? We're going to talk about it for two hours. But if you teach it correctly, the person listening to you doesn't have to go to a bad place after they die.

It's not ... in fact, it's not possible. Okay, so it's important to understand it, and it's important to be able to teach it.

So, those of you who heard it many times, I'll show you how to teach it. And just think if you can help somebody from going to a bad place after they die, that's probably the best thing you can do in this life.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
So, when you teach it, here's how to teach it.

[Speaker 2]
First you tell the audience ...

[Speaker 1]
in Tibet, when we teach emptiness, we often use a pen, and we teach it by asking questions. Then when I teach it, the next thing I say is, do you know what Scott? What's the next thing I always say just after that?

I mean, be careful. Think carefully. Yeah, British Airways, okay?

So, most countries were taken over by the British in the past. So first, I always make fun of British Airways. And I say, I'm going to ask you questions.

You're going to give me answers. Please don't be like British Airways, okay? I taught the pen to nine vice presidents at British Airways.

[Speaker 2]
They were having a strike for four years.

[Speaker 1]
Then they tried many normal business management trainings to help them.

[Speaker 2]
And it didn't work. So, they were desperate.

[Speaker 1]
So, they called the weirdest business trainers. Then we went there. Their headquarters is called Waterside.

It's at Heathrow Airport. Yeah.

[Speaker 2]
Then I ... I said, I'm going to teach you about the pen.

[Speaker 1]
I'll ask you questions. You please answer me. And I said, okay?

And they said, okay.

[Speaker 2]
Then I held up the pen. I said, what is this thing? And they all go like this.

[Speaker 1]
They're afraid to say anything. You know? So, please don't be like British Airways, okay?

You're from ... and then name whatever country you're in, okay?

[Speaker 2]
You're from ...

[Speaker 1]
Mexico. Mexico people are not shy. They will give you answer.

If you're in China, you say, Chinese people are not shy. They will give you a good answer. And ...

you have a rosary? Anybody have a rosary? Just ...

in the monastery, we just throw it.

[Speaker 2]
We just throw it. Too small.

[Speaker 1]
Then if you want to make a joke, you can say, why do ... why do Tibetan monks use this thing? Then some stupid person will say, they want to do prayers.

Whose is that? Synapse. Okay.

Then you say, no, no, no. It's not for prayers. It's for hitting students.

[Speaker 2]
You hit them on the head.

[Speaker 1]
They ... you get called red bead head. For two hours you have this on your head.

So, you can tell the British Airways vice presidents, if you don't give me a good answer, our first row gets the old Tibetan treatment. Okay, understand? In the monastery, it's like a wedding.

You throw the rosary.

[Speaker 2]
Who gets it, they have to stand up and debate first.

[Speaker 1]
Then nobody wants to get it. It hits them, they're like ...

[Speaker 2]
...

[Speaker 1]
Then what's the first thing you ask?

[Speaker 2]
Yeah, what's this thing?

[Speaker 1]
If the audience ... if only three people answer, you have to ask again. I'm sorry, I need an answer from the audience, not from three people here.

I don't know why the first row is answering. Okay, I can also hit people in the back, okay? What is this thing?

Yeah, good. It's a pen.

[Speaker 2]
Now, if a small dog comes up here, then if you're on a stage, you can sit down on the edge of the stage, and if the dog comes up on the stage, and you show this to the dog, it's good to make some noise, okay?

[Speaker 1]
Then what will the dog do with it? Front row, just be quiet. Yeah, they won't chew it.

Next question is what? No, too early, too early. Yeah, does the dog see this as a pen?

No, how do they see it?

[Speaker 2]
As a treat toy.

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, so who's correct, the human or the dog? Both. Then it's nice to explain why.

Okay, you can write with it.

[Speaker 2]
Human can use it. That's okay.

[Speaker 1]
No, no problemo.

[Speaker 2]
No problem. Then the dog can chew it. Can enjoy.

No problem. It's real for both of them. Okay, what's the next question?

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, good, good, good. Okay, if I leave this here, then you got to make this dramatic, okay? Don't just say, oh, what would happen if all the dogs and the people go out?

[Speaker 2]
No, you have to say it.

[Speaker 1]
Okay, so you have to ... people have to ... you have to tell them in a way they can draw a picture in their mind.

Okay, so suppose Daniel gets up and opens the door, and then all the people go out, and then all the dogs go out.

[Speaker 2]
Then you lower your voice. The room is empty.

[Speaker 1]
Nobody's in the room. Daniel closed the door from the outside. Whole room is empty.

No people. No dogs. At that time, then you have to say, which one is this?

Then you should repeat, is it a pen, or is it a chew toy?

[Speaker 2]
At that ...

[Speaker 1]
and it's important to say, at that time.

[Speaker 2]
Which one is it?

[Speaker 1]
Some ... okay, now listen. This is cool.

[Speaker 2]
We teach many many countries, okay?

[Speaker 1]
All over the world, in the third row there's always one intelligent lady. Okay, and then when you say, which one is it? At that time.

They will go ... okay? Then you have to ...

you have to draw attention to this person. Okay, you ready? Look at her.

[Speaker 2]
She has the correct answer. Okay? That's the correct answer.

It's like ... nothing.

[Speaker 1]
Then you have to jump on that.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
Okay, all of you guys heard about emptiness. The Buddhist people talk about emptiness. Then throw in three wrong ideas about emptiness.

Emptiness. Some people say, just black. Close your eyes.

[Speaker 2]
Everything black, black, black.

[Speaker 1]
This is emptiness. When I told that to my teacher, he said, you're a kukpa. I said, Lama, what's a kukpa mean?

It means you're stupid. Then he asked me, do you have a different idea? Yeah, okay?

[Speaker 2]
Try not to have any thoughts in your mind.

[Speaker 1]
That's emptiness. I told my Lama that. I read an American guy's book, he said emptiness means don't think about anything.

[Speaker 2]
If a thought comes in your mind, let it go.

[Speaker 1]
Don't attach to it. Then my teacher said, that's emptiness?

[Speaker 2]
I said, yeah. He said, shindukupa.

[Speaker 1]
Shindukupa means idiot. You're an idiot.

[Speaker 2]
Then I said, no, no, I heard a third thing in a book. Nothing matters. Okay?

If somebody hit you, don't be sad.

[Speaker 1]
Just like that.

[Speaker 2]
Somebody kiss you. Don't be happy.

[Speaker 1]
Nothing's good.

[Speaker 2]
Nothing's good.

[Speaker 1]
Nothing's bad. Don't worry if something feel good, or something feel bad.

[Speaker 2]
It's all illusion.

[Speaker 1]
Then my Lama said, shindunyine kukpa. It means super stupid. Okay?

Then you go back to the table. Okay, when the people went out, and all the dogs went out, and there was nobody in the room. This is not a pen.

This is not a chew toy. It's just empty. It's not anything.

Right then. Then it's important to get off the stage.

[Speaker 2]
Then you say, okay.

[Speaker 1]
Suppose one person comes back. Okay, they walk up to the table. What's up?

Okay, what's that? In that moment.

[Speaker 2]
Okay, watch.

[Speaker 1]
Cappuccino. What's that? Okay, in that moment, something happens in your mind.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
Up until that moment, it was nothing.

[Speaker 2]
It wasn't a pen, and it wasn't a chew toy.

[Speaker 1]
Then, you could say halfway to a step. You see it. You can show off your yoga.

Oh, look. Then at that moment, a seed opens in your mind.

[Speaker 2]
And out of that seed comes a small picture, made of light.

[Speaker 1]
Okay? It's made of light. It's only this big.

It's a picture of a pen. And it comes out of your mind, and it comes on top of that stick. Then make them answer the question.

Make the audience answer the question. In that moment, what does it become? For me.

Pen. Pen. Then pick up the pen.

Hold it with the microphone in your hand. Now, I'm teaching ... this is for real.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
Make sure it's sticking up. Don't ... don't do it this way.

Do it this way. So you turn to this way. Okay?

Then you use your hand. You see? Everybody put up your hand.

Okay?

[Speaker 2]
And show me.

[Speaker 1]
Is that pen come from the ... start with the wrong thing. Is the pen ...

then go like this. Is the pen coming from the pen? Or, is the pen coming from me?

[Speaker 2]
Which one? Show me. Then they should go like that.

[Speaker 1]
Some ... one or two stupid guys in the back, they will go ... Just ignore them.

Yeah, look. The guy in the back is going like that. That's correct.

It must be coming from me.

[Speaker 2]
Next question.

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, good. Why? Because if the dog came in before me, when they look at the same thing, then it goes ...

What does it become? Yeah, a chew toy.

[Speaker 2]
So, if it's coming from itself, the dog must see a pen.

[Speaker 1]
So, it's obvious. It's coming from the dog's mind.

[Speaker 2]
The chew toy. And the pen is coming from the human's mind.

[Speaker 1]
Then you say, right? This is an old, 2,000-year-old debating trick. Just kind of friendly, you say, right?

And everybody says, yeah, right, right.

[Speaker 2]
When they see right, they cannot go back. Okay? In debate, it's like a game of chess.

[Speaker 1]
You say, right? It's just coming from me, right? And they go, yeah, see?

Then you got them, for the rest of their life. Okay?

[Speaker 2]
Don't pens. Buildings.

[Speaker 1]
Lakes. Your husband. Your wife.

Everything coming from you. Okay? So, if you know how to plant those seeds, you can have anything you want.

You know, then you can tell them, oh, this guy, Michael Roach, he didn't know anything about business. Nothing. And he stayed, you know, just in a Buddhist monastery.

He doesn't know anything about business. But his Lama said, use these seeds to make a million dollars. Company.

Then he failed. He didn't make a million dollar company. He made a 250 million company per year.

[Speaker 2]
Okay? Largest jewelry company in the world.

[Speaker 1]
Bought by Warren Buffett in 2009. Then people are like, hmm, wait, maybe I can do that. Maybe I can do that.

Then you say, Scott, do you have a hundred dollars?

[Speaker 2]
So, if we understand how to plant a seed, you can have anything you want.

[Speaker 1]
You can have money. You can have beautiful partner.

[Speaker 2]
Good health.

[Speaker 1]
I started ballet when I was 50. Most ballet people retire at 25. Okay?

[Speaker 2]
So, if you know how to plant a seed, even inner peace, that's to catch all the hippies in the audience.

[Speaker 1]
Like, I don't want money.

[Speaker 2]
I don't want a nice wife. I don't need to do ballet. I just want inner peace.

Then you say, inner peace also coming from seeds.

[Speaker 1]
Then everybody in the audience, they like Spider-Man. They want to save the world. Okay?

[Speaker 2]
So, it's important to say, if you understand seeds, if you know how to plant a seed, then you can help the whole world. One person can change the whole world, if they understand seeds.

[Speaker 1]
Deep down everybody in the audience wants to save the world. Okay? So, don't underrate your audience.

Okay? It doesn't matter where you give a talk. It doesn't matter what country.

It doesn't matter business executives or yoga students.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
Deep down there are three desires.

[Speaker 2]
Number one, food. Number two, sex. Number three, save the whole world.

[Speaker 1]
The third one is stronger than the first two. So, if you understand how to plant a seed, then you can help the whole world. Okay?

So, let's go over here. Then you pick somebody in the audience, okay? And you say, do you want to help me with something?

What's your name please? Juan Bosco. Then you say, Juan, will you help me plant a seed?

Can you help me teach all these people how to plant a seed?

[Speaker 2]
Can you say, so far I didn't have anybody say no.

[Speaker 1]
Pick somebody who has a nice smile.

[Speaker 2]
Then you try to get their hand up high, okay, where everybody can see it.

[Speaker 1]
Then you say, we're going to talk about the four steps for planting a seed. You can pause until the crying baby is taken out of the room, or you can take duct tape with you to the talk. Okay.

Then you say, we're going to plant a seed. Okay? There's four steps.

Number one, tell me what you want. Then I want a thousand dollars next week. I want to change hundred dollars into a thousand dollars.

Okay? Then, that's step number one. Step number two, you must find another person who wants the same thing.

And you have to lay heavy on that. Heavy, heavy. Say it very emphasized.

Emphasize very much. You cannot plant a seed without another person.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
If you don't want to help somebody else, you cannot use this system. Forget it.

[Speaker 2]
Just go home now.

[Speaker 1]
You can be a little bit tough, okay?

[Speaker 2]
Leave right now.

[Speaker 1]
Okay?

[Speaker 2]
Ask for refund later. We will say no. If you don't want to help another person, you cannot use this system.

[Speaker 1]
That's like trying to play basketball without a floor. It's like trying to play basketball without a floor. Okay?

Karma has to bounce off the other person. So, step number two, choose another person who wants the same thing, or almost the same thing. Would you like to make some money?

Yes. He said, yeah, okay! Then I'm happy.

Okay? So, don't forget to talk about that. Don't forget to talk about that.

I'm so happy. I found another person to help. Now I can plant a seed.

Without him, I cannot plant a seed.

[Speaker 2]
Not possible. So, when you find someone who needs something, in this system, you are like ...

[Speaker 1]
I found someone who wants money! Okay, then be happy.

[Speaker 2]
Make sure they keep their arm up. And then say, you ready to plant a seed? Here we go!

Make very dramatic, okay? 100 US dollars. Now, close his hand.

Then let go. Let go. No, not you.

[Speaker 1]
Then, when I open my hand, this is how karma is planted.

[Speaker 2]
This is how a seed is planted.

[Speaker 1]
If someone explained to you, you can do it. Okay, watch. Ready?

[Speaker 2]
One, two, three. Then it's good to make a noise.

[Speaker 1]
Get the microphone close. Let's practice. Okay, ready?

One, two, three. Okay, then when my hand open, there's a picture, like a video. Okay?

My hand opening. That image comes through ...

[Speaker 2]
you can say, through the window of my eyes, and touches my mind. That image of my hand, it comes through the window of my mind ... sorry, through the window of my eyes, and it touches my mind.

[Speaker 1]
Okay? And then it makes an impression.

[Speaker 2]
Now, you have to do this correctly.

[Speaker 1]
Okay? Press it with a finger. It makes an impression on my mind.

[Speaker 2]
And that impression becomes a seed.

[Speaker 1]
After like two hours, okay? This is called ... if you want to know, this is called sanskara in Sanskrit.

If you have intelligent people there, like Mexico, you can go deeper.

[Speaker 2]
You make an impression on the conscious mind.

[Speaker 1]
Then do the pancake thing, or the tortilla. Up here is the conscious mind. Down here is the subconscious mind.

[Speaker 2]
And that impression becomes a seed down here.

[Speaker 1]
Okay? Then you planted the seed. Then you should be dramatic, like the guy who got the money, he's like trying to give it back to you, and you're like, no, no, you keep it.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
You can make a joke. No, I don't want it back. No, no.

You think I want a hundred dollars? I want a thousand. So, you keep it.

Then you go back to this thing. Okay? No, we're not finished yet.

Okay, ready? Don't forget, okay? You can change the whole world.

Then, I like to talk about my mother.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
My mother was the most generous person I ever met. She'd give anything to anybody who asked her. She had four kids, four sons.

Husband is not there.

[Speaker 2]
Husband went away.

[Speaker 1]
Okay? Then, four sons, and she's a school teacher. We don't have money.

And, one day we leave to go to school. So, five people leave together. Then, one day I asked my mom, Mom, we have to lock the door.

When you go to work and we go to school, we should lock the door.

[Speaker 2]
She's like, why?

[Speaker 1]
Because all the kids' mother and father lock the door. Yeah. My mother said, we can't lock the door.

[Speaker 2]
What if somebody's hungry? You know, they have to be able to come in, and open the refrigerator, take what they want.

[Speaker 1]
If we lock the door, they can't reach the refrigerator. And later, she even let homeless people sleep in our bed. You know, sometimes we have to sleep on the couch.

Even her bed also. One day she came out, she said, you remember that man who came last night?

[Speaker 2]
He didn't have a place to sleep. I gave him my bed. I slept on the couch.

That one cannot come back. Then we said, why mom?

[Speaker 1]
Then she lift up her pillow. There's a loaded pistol. She said, that one I think shouldn't come in.

So, if this idea is correct, if karma doubles every day, then when I give a hundred dollars, I can make a thousand dollars in one week.

[Speaker 2]
It will come to me.

[Speaker 1]
It will be delivered by the universe, and I cannot stop it.

[Speaker 2]
It doesn't matter where I go.

[Speaker 1]
I can suddenly go to another city. It doesn't matter where you go. Even if you die, it will be delivered.

[Speaker 2]
Why?

[Speaker 1]
You carry it here. You carry it in your mind. Even if you die, the next place you go, you will get a thousand dollars next week, okay?

[Speaker 2]
Nobody can stop it.

[Speaker 1]
Then the audience is feeling happy. This guy made a hundred dollars. You know, you should say, don't forget to take your wife to a dinner tonight.

Hardine Elninet? Hardine Elninet.

[Speaker 2]
Take her to the French restaurant here. Okay? Then everybody's feeling happy.

Then you say, but that's all not true. If all this stuff is true, my mother should be richer than Warren Buffett.

[Speaker 1]
She gave every day a lot. Then, obviously it doesn't work. If it worked, everybody would do it.

But there's a problem. We see many people who give away many things, they didn't get rich. My mom died poor.

Okay? Then you have to make everybody confused. You can drink some chai.

They're like, first the guy told us we could get rich, now he said we can't get rich. Then you say, my mom didn't know the secret method. Step number four.

Okay? The first three steps ... you have to teach it like this.

[Speaker 2]
The first three steps, they plant the seed.

[Speaker 1]
But the seed can stay there for a hundred years and it won't open. You have to put water on the seed. Then if you know the secret method to put water on the seeds, you will get a thousand dollars next week.

Or you can make a company which sells 300,000 diamonds every day. Then, if you want to make a ... if you're in China, you can say, my Shanghai students, they don't say water the seed, they call mama chicken on the egg.

[Speaker 2]
So, there's a ... there's a fourth step. If you know it, you can have anything you want.

[Speaker 1]
You can have a relationship for 50 years.

[Speaker 2]
48, okay?

[Speaker 1]
How? You need to put water on the seed. How do you put water on the seed?

Then you can say you have to do meditation. Okay, and then you can make a ... you can do a full lotus, okay?

No. Just kidding. He's a soccer player.

He's a soccer player. Soccer players have bad knees.

[Speaker 2]
Okay, show them you have to do a special meditation. Then they will like ...

[Speaker 1]
then they think you're going to do some meditation. Everybody will start to go like this, you know?

[Speaker 2]
Then you say, no, no, don't do that.

[Speaker 1]
Left leg first. Right leg second. Do this mudra.

Okay, then lay down on the couch or something. Just before you go to bed, you should think about the nice things you are doing for this other person.

[Speaker 2]
So, if I really want a thousand dollars next week, it's not enough to plant a seed.

[Speaker 1]
I must put water on the seed.

[Speaker 2]
So tonight, I must be happy about two things. Number one, he was really happy. I made him happy.

[Speaker 1]
That was a good thing. I did a good thing. Number two, I'm happy I'm trying a new way of making money.

It's so much less stressful than fighting other people for money. If this system is true, then competition to make money is wrong.

[Speaker 2]
The way to make money is to share money.

[Speaker 1]
Then you can use this, you know, give instead of taking.

[Speaker 2]
The idea of taking money by business competition is mistaken. You can make 250 million per year company by sharing.

[Speaker 1]
And then before you go to bed, you must put water on the seed.

[Speaker 2]
If you don't, nothing will happen. The seed will open three lifetimes from now.

[Speaker 1]
Okay? So if you want fast open seed, like fast food McDonald's, before you go to bed, you are not allowed to worry about your life.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
My husband doesn't like me. My boss calls me stupid. My kids always acting up.

You know, that's usual person's way to go to bed.

[Speaker 2]
Seed planter person, I did a cool thing today. You know, I'm trying to make a thousand bucks.

[Speaker 1]
I found some guy to take my hundred dollars.

[Speaker 2]
I'm so happy.

[Speaker 1]
I found someone to take my money. Now I'm going to make a thousand dollars next week.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
The more happy you are, the faster the seed will grow.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
We finish the pen.

[Speaker 2]
That's the pen.

[Speaker 1]
That's the long story pen. You can also do it in five minutes.

[Speaker 2]
Now, in this class, we're going on.

[Speaker 1]
If you understand what I just talked about for an hour, if you're very intelligent person, and I had people in Mexico, they come up to me and they say, I've been waiting my whole life to hear this. And I believe it. The whole world is coming from my mind.

[Speaker 2]
From my seeds.

[Speaker 1]
I understand now.

[Speaker 2]
But now I have a problem.

[Speaker 1]
I did a lot of bad things before. I have a lot of bad seeds. Is there some way to get rid of these seeds?

And that's the subject of today's talk. We just reached the subject of today's talk.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
Am I giving you a break? No. Okay?

You wanted two hours?

[Speaker 2]
You're going to get two hours. Okay, here we go.

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, it's very important that you learn to stop your bad seeds. Because they also double every day. And after you die, it's very dangerous.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
You could go to a bad place after you die. So it's not enough to plant good seeds.

[Speaker 2]
You have to learn how to stop the old bad seeds. And if you get good at it, understanding the pen, something will happen to you. Inside, you get a guarantee.

Something changes inside of you.

[Speaker 1]
It's called SO SO THAR MING GI SGOS PA. SO SO THAR MING GI SGOS PA It's a ...

[Speaker 2]
a special thing happens inside of you.

[Speaker 1]
It's called a SGOS PA. In Tibetan, it's called SGOS PA.

[Speaker 2]
SGOS PA in Tibet.

[Speaker 1]
CHOS NAM SAG CHAD ZAB PA MED, LAM MA RTOGS PA'I DU BYED NAM SAG CHAD GANG PHYIR, DE DAG LA GSOS NAM KUN DU RGYAS PA, RGYUR BSAM MED RNAMS KYI BRTAN MA NANG, DUS MA BYAS NAM SU MYONG STE, NANG KA DANG NI SGOS PA NI It's opening lines of the Abhidharmakosha.

[Speaker 2]
If you can reach a SGOS PA inside of you, then after you die, all of those bad seeds are ...

[Speaker 1]
they just fall asleep. You cannot go to a lower place.

[Speaker 2]
It's not possible. Then, yesterday we said, even if you don't believe in hell or Buddhist stuff, even if you don't believe, if you're smart, spend a few hours and learn how to stop those bad seeds. If there's no hell, you just lost two hours.

[Speaker 1]
If there is a hell, you saved yourself a million years of pain. So, a smart person, even if they don't believe in Buddhism or anything, in church, nothing, a smart person will listen for an hour or two, and learn how to shut down those seeds.

[Speaker 2]
Okay? So, here we go.

[Speaker 1]
We're going to the book on how to shut down those seeds. But first, we had to prove that everything was coming from seeds. So, here's Tsongkapa.

So, can you explain, Tsongkapa, what happens to you inside of you that stops the old bad seeds, and you don't have to worry about dying? You cannot go to a bad place.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
SUS PA THOB NAS NGAN DUR GRO MI SRID PA NI What is it that makes it impossible for a person to go down after they die? If they reach what we call the third level of the second path, third level of the second path. So, I'm not going to call it third level of the second path anymore, I'm just going to call it by its name.

In Sanskrit, kshanti, in Tibetan, SOS PA In English, mastery, mastery. You become a master. When you become a master, you can't go down anymore.

It's called master.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
What happens, they're asking Tsongkapa, what happens when you reach mastery? DER GCIG PA'I SA BA NYAN POR BYONG BA MA YIN The seeds that would take you to the lower realms are not stopped. They are not destroyed.

This is Tsongkapa. This is the greatest thinker in history. DER NI SA BA NYAN POR BYONG BA YIN LA KUN LAS SDUG BSNGAL NYAN DU PHUNG PO SANGS SOGS MTHONG SPANGS SU SHES DO So, at the level of mastery, you don't destroy those seeds.

So, what happens? They don't get enough water and fertilizer.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
It's like you put the bad seed in a drawer in your house. Like, I have thistle seeds in my house. Thistle is a kind of thorn.

And, birds really like them. And it's illegal to bring them into the United States, because they grow very fast and they are very sharp.

[Speaker 2]
But birds love them.

[Speaker 1]
So, they made a deal with the producers of the seeds in India. If you radiate the seeds first, you can bring them to the United States. It kills the seed.

Okay? It doesn't destroy the seed.

[Speaker 2]
The birds eat the seed.

[Speaker 1]
Okay? But it will never grow. It damages the seed.

[Speaker 2]
So Tsongkapa says, you cannot destroy those seeds. You can just damage them.

[Speaker 1]
If you damage them, they will never open.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
So, now I'm going to take you to a discussion of how it works. So, he's going to give ... This is Jamyang Shepit Dorje, which Adam and Nick just put in the library.

Thank you for that.

[Speaker 2]
Adam and Nick just put this in the library. Thank you for that.

[Speaker 1]
BER NA MED SOGS KYI SA BAR LA If you take a seed for corn, MA BYAS PA'AM there's three ways to hurt the seed. Number one, you can cut it or chip it.

[Speaker 2]
Or chip it is like smashing it.

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, like take a chip out of wood.

[Speaker 2]
That's the first choice.

[Speaker 1]
You know, damage the seed somehow.

[Speaker 2]
Choice number two, cover it with oil or grease and water cannot get into it. And it will never open.

[Speaker 1]
Third choice, radiate it or take it to a certain temperature. And something inside is destroyed. But the seed is still there.

Something is broken inside, and it will never grow. Like my seed for my birds. I feed the birds every day, and that seed was radiated in India, and it will never open.

But it still tastes good to them like churro. Then I'd like to congratulate ...

[Speaker 2]
I think his name is Alejandro.

[Speaker 1]
I'm talking about churro for ten days in Mexico. Only today someone gave me some churro. Okay, those are the three choices.

GSUM GANG RUNG BYANG NA DE BU BYIN MI THUB PA Then the seed will not be able to give a result. And in this case, that's what we want. We want the seed to never open.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
So, you cannot destroy those seeds. Can someone tell me why you cannot destroy a bad seed?

[Speaker 2]
Do you remember?

[Speaker 1]
Huh? Hmm. It's okay.

There would be no justice. There's a law. The highest law of the universe.

Higher than gravity. Higher than Isaac Newton or Einstein.

[Speaker 2]
There's a higher law.

[Speaker 1]
Similar to Newton's third law of mechanics. Everything you do, any energy you put out, there's an equal and opposite reaction. So, if you help people, if you give hundred dollars to somebody, a thousand dollars will come to you.

You cannot stop it. You cannot tell the universe, I don't want the money. I'm a yogi, you know?

[Speaker 2]
I don't need the money. It doesn't matter.

[Speaker 1]
It will come. You cannot skip it. I gave some money and I went to Dharmamitra's yoga class and some guy gave me a hundred thousand dollar check in the yoga class.

[Speaker 2]
I never met this guy.

[Speaker 1]
Okay? The universe will deliver the money.

[Speaker 2]
You can't stop it.

[Speaker 1]
And if you hurt somebody, you know, I don't know, steal from them, or hit them, or mess around with their partner, something bad will come. And nobody can stop it.

[Speaker 2]
Okay? It has to be like that.

[Speaker 1]
You have to get what you deserve. You know? And you should be happy.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
That's the highest law in the universe. Every good thing you do, something good will come back. It never changes.

Nobody can cancel it. Nobody can tell you no. I like to say it's stronger than ...

In Buddhism we say that's stronger than Buddha. That law is stronger than Buddha. Okay?

Buddha cannot stop it. Okay? If you help somebody, something good will come.

[Speaker 2]
If you hurt somebody, something bad will come.

[Speaker 1]
Okay? And if you can just destroy your old bad seeds like, you know, pop, pop, then there's no justice. And you should be worried about that.

Then the universe is crazy. Then there's no sense to the whole universe.

[Speaker 2]
Anything can happen. Be nice to people, get killed.

[Speaker 1]
Give a bribe to the government, get rich. Okay? If it's true, there's no justice.

Then you should be worried.

[Speaker 2]
But there is a justice. So you cannot just destroy the seed.

[Speaker 1]
But you can damage it.

[Speaker 2]
Okay? So let's go through the three ways. Number one.

[Speaker 1]
What was the first one? Like, chip the bad seed or break the bad seed.

[Speaker 2]
How do you do that?

[Speaker 1]
He says, ,DE MI DGE'I AAM LAS DE YANG, ,DE MI DGE'I GANG RUNG GI CHOM NAS MED PAR, You can damage an old bad seed by doing a nice thing to damage it.

[Speaker 2]
,DE MI DGE'I AAM LAS DE YANG, ,DE MI DGE'I GANG RUNG GI CHOM NAS, ,DE MI DGE'I GANG RUNG GI CHOM NAS, Okay?

[Speaker 1]
So like, if you lied to somebody many times, then you can try to tell the truth to anybody after that. And that will damage the old lie seed, okay? If you stole something, then give things to other people, and dedicate it.

[Speaker 2]
When you do your coffee meditation at night, dedicate it to this seed, and you will damage it. Number two. What's the second one?

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, put the oil on the seed. CHING GI BSLAB means, go to your ... go to your teacher, or go to a priest.

Your friend works the same. Go to your friend, and tell them what you did. Like, I stole money, and I'm sorry, and I want to tell somebody, and I want to tell the truth about myself.

And then we call GYIN LAB. GYIN LAB means ...

[Speaker 2]
there's a blessing by telling somebody, and it puts the oil on the seed. I did this bad thing, and I'm sorry about it.

[Speaker 1]
And it hurts the seed. That's the second choice. Third choice.

What's the third one? Yeah, like you burn this ... burn ...

not ... now, English there's a problem. We can say you burn the seed, but it doesn't mean you burn it up.

It means you ... in English we say you scorch it. You scorch it.

You ... you ... you put the heat on it, like ...

piece of cloth.

[Speaker 2]
Like a toast.

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, like toast, yeah. And ... the seed is still there, but it ...

it doesn't open anymore. It's broken. Something inside is broken.

Okay, those are the three. Now, how do you do this third one? You can do four powers.

Okay, I'm going to give you two choices. Number one, you can do four powers. Then we'll talk about the second one later.

Let's talk about the four powers. Okay, these are four steps for scorching an old ... an old bad seed.

Number one, just think about the pen. That's all. Just think about the pen.

Okay? Oh, that's coming from me.

[Speaker 2]
From a seed in my mind.

[Speaker 1]
Just think about it. Okay? Now you've heard about it for one hour, okay?

Just think about it. That's step number ... like if you had an abortion and you killed a child.

And I can talk about it because I did it also. Okay? When I was in college, my girlfriend got pregnant, and she had an abortion.

[Speaker 2]
So, I also have this bad karma.

[Speaker 1]
And I also want ... I studied the four powers many years ago because I want to scorch this seed, you know? So, number one, just think about the pen coming from me.

Number two, remember that seed is doubling power every 24 hours. That's why I can make a thousand dollars by next week. Understand this new economic theory.

He makes a hundred.

[Speaker 2]
I make ...

[Speaker 1]
a thousand.

[Speaker 2]
Good deal? Are you happy? He's okay.

[Speaker 1]
I'm also ... yeah, that's okay. Okay?

We're both happy. The world's economy should go this way.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
I give a hundred.

[Speaker 2]
He's happy. I get a thousand. I'm also happy.

No fighting, no competition, no stress, you know, no war.

[Speaker 1]
Okay? If you understand how to plant the seed, and put the water on it, and I ... you know, I do make the money back.

Scott's like, Geshe-la, you're running out of money. I'm like, no I'm not.

[Speaker 2]
No, it keeps coming back.

[Speaker 1]
He says, no, no, Geshe-la, you don't have to pay me back. I'm like, no, I want to pay you back. I make money this way.

I'm not stupid. Okay?

[Speaker 2]
This is how I support myself.

[Speaker 1]
Seriously. Okay. And it's ...

and it's less stressful. If you understand how to make money, it should be fun. It's a lot of fun.

Okay. Third ... third power is the most important ...

oh, so second power. Oh my god, this thing is doubling every day, I have to stop it right now!

[Speaker 2]
Right, Max? I got to stop it now!

[Speaker 1]
By tomorrow it will double. Instead of owing a hundred dollars, I will owe a thousand dollars. I got to stop this thing now.

[Speaker 2]
That's the ...

[Speaker 1]
that's the second power. Okay, I got to stop this thing now. It's not guilty, okay?

Not guilty. Tibetan and Sanskrit, they don't have the word kulpa. I'm a bad person.

I did abortion. Oh, everybody will hate me. You know, I'm going to hell.

I'm bad person. I can't do anything. Okay, that's not number two, okay?

[Speaker 2]
That's wrong. Okay?

[Speaker 1]
Forget the kulpa. Osiris is ... Osiris is making a movie, okay?

About a story my Lama told me. It's about guilt. So ...

I stayed with ... I lived with my Lama for 25 years. And ...

so one day we got a letter. It was from the local Catholic Church. And ...

it said the Pope asked all the churches to have interfaith talk. I think that was Pope John Paul. He was a really cool guy.

My Lama was in love with Pope John Paul. Then I said, Rinpoche, you want to go to the church and give a talk?

[Speaker 2]
He said, yeah, I can do.

[Speaker 1]
So we went to the big cathedral near our house. Very beautiful cathedral. And we met the priest at the door.

[Speaker 2]
And then we started to walk down the aisle towards the altar.

[Speaker 1]
And my Lama's looking like ... Mike! Mike!

What's those ... what's the windows? Oh, that's a Christian custom.

What's those pictures? Those are saints and angels. They make windows in the temple with saints and angels in colored glass?

[Speaker 2]
Yeah. Yeah.

[Speaker 1]
That's so beautiful! Write that down! We have to do that!

You know, I'm his secretary. Make colored windows in temple. Then he's like ...

he's looking at everything. Then he saw this little room on the side.

[Speaker 2]
You know?

[Speaker 1]
And a pretty good looking woman came in. Went into the room.

[Speaker 2]
From this side.

[Speaker 1]
Then the priest came in from this side. Then he grabbed the priest.

[Speaker 2]
What are they doing there?

[Speaker 1]
The woman went in, then the priest went in.

[Speaker 2]
What are they doing in that room?

[Speaker 1]
don't worry, don't worry. There's a wall. And there's a little window.

And she comes this side, he comes in this side. then she's supposed to tell the priest all the bad things which she did last week. And then the priest will tell her, you have to do Hail Mary.

One hundred Hail ... Hail Mary is a special prayer like MIG MED TSE BA'I DER CAN CHAD, same. Then I told Rinpoche, you know, he said the lady tells him the bad things she did and then the priest tell her to do 100 Hail Mary.

[Speaker 2]
Then Rinpoche is like, what's a Hail Mary? I said, Christian mantra.

[Speaker 1]
He said, oh, good idea! That's very good, you know. That confession room is a very good idea.

We need one. Put that on the list. Then he's like to the priest, and where's the other one?

[Speaker 2]
The priest said, what?

[Speaker 1]
He said, where's the other room? In Buddhist, we always have two rooms. No, no, we only have one.

He said, but you need the other one.

[Speaker 2]
Then the priest said, what's that? He said, woman comes in this side, priest comes in this side, both sit down.

[Speaker 1]
The woman tells the priest all the good things she did last week. Okay, in Buddhism, it's equal. You have to tell, you have to confess every mistake you made, but you must give equal time to the good things you did.

And Osiris is making a ... he just filmed a movie about it, I think. We're waiting for this movie.

Why are we talking about that? The third step is this room. You must tell somebody, you know, I made a mistake, and you must promise not to do it again.

Okay? So, if you got angry at your husband, for example, do you think it's a good idea to tell your lama, I will never get angry at my husband again in my whole life? Is it a good idea?

No. Why?

[Speaker 2]
You will make a new bad seed.

[Speaker 1]
You will break it. To stop the old bad seed, you will make a new bad seed.

[Speaker 2]
So we always set a time limit. If it's a big thing like abortion, you can say, I won't do it again in my life.

[Speaker 1]
If it's like getting irritated at your husband, you can say, I will stop it for five minutes. Okay? Then you control yourself for five minutes.

You can go for a walk or something.

[Speaker 2]
Okay, so set a time limit that you can keep.

[Speaker 1]
Okay, fourth way, a fourth step, fourth power. The third power is to promise not to do something. The fourth power is to promise to do something.

Okay, and it's to balance the karma. Okay, like in my case, after I found out about seeds, and I went to my lama, I said, you know, I made a big mistake, you know, when I was in college, and I had this abortion. So what should I do?

Then he showed me the first three steps, power. Then for the fourth one, he said, he gave me suggestion.

[Speaker 2]
You teach seeds to kids.

[Speaker 1]
Because you killed one kid. So, you balance the karma, and you teach seeds to some kids, you know. So, I started a school at a Buddhist temple.

We live in a Buddhist neighborhood. Everybody's Buddhist. They are Mongolian.

[Speaker 2]
So, I announced I have a school, you know, and I will teach the kids about seeds, on Wednesday.

[Speaker 1]
Nobody came. So, I bought like six cakes. Then I started a rumor, every kid who comes is going to get three big pieces of cake, you know.

Then, after about three weeks, I had about 30 kids, and I taught them for about 15 years, and cleaned the seed. Okay? So, you can do it.

[Speaker 2]
You know, just clean the seed. Okay? That's the third way.

Burn the seed. Or ...

[Speaker 1]
Okay? Or ...

[Speaker 2]
Understand emptiness.

[Speaker 1]
And I'm going to teach you two ... three ways, okay? One is about outside things.

Okay? Like a pen. Okay?

If you ... if someone teach you about the pen, which we did for one hour, and if you understand it correctly, and if you are doing five kinds of nice things, called the five powers also, but they're not the same five powers, it will destroy ... it will burn the seed.

Okay? Burn the bad seeds. Okay?

And you cannot go to a bad place after you die. Okay? So, just understand the pen.

But also, five other things, okay? I didn't tell you yet. It's like the small print in the contract.

And if you care, these are called the five powers. And if you care, they are part of the 37 components of enlightenment. And at each of the five paths, those of you who learned about it, certain practices are more important.

So, I'm going to give you ... and there's 37 total. Okay?

You want the ... I'll give you the whole number, hang on. Okay.

Yeah. At the first path, there's four. Okay?

At the ... At the first part of the second path, there's four parts of the second path, right? At the first part of the second path ...

[Speaker 2]
Oh, sorry, sorry. Excuse me, I made a mistake. It's four parts in the second ...

Four parts on the first path. Four parts on the first path. Sorry.

[Speaker 1]
Four practices on the first path. Okay. The second path has four parts.

Okay? At the first part, there's four practices. In the second part, there's four practices.

[Speaker 2]
In the third part, there's five.

[Speaker 1]
In the fourth part, there's five. Okay?

[Speaker 2]
At the third path, path of seeing, there's eight practices.

[Speaker 1]
At the path of ... at the fourth path, there's seven. If it adds up to 37, you have to get me a cappuccino for the fire offering.

Is it 37? Is it 37? Okay, you owe me a cappuccino.

[Speaker 2]
We don't have time to talk about all 37.

[Speaker 1]
Let's talk about the ones that relate to scorching the seeds that are going to take you down after you die. And so there's five of them. Right?

Am I right? Third part of second path, there's five. Five practices.

[Speaker 2]
Let's talk about them. Number one.

[Speaker 1]
It's called faith. Faith. Faith.

[Speaker 2]
Yes.

[Speaker 1]
I want to help the whole world. So, in Buddhism, faith means like a vision to help the whole world. And I don't care if you're the worst guy in the world.

You know, just shot 50 people or something. Still, deep down you want to help the whole world. You just don't know how.

So, first of the five practices at ... at this third ...

[Speaker 2]
mastery, mastery, mastery.

[Speaker 1]
Have a vision to help the whole world. Okay, number two. Tsundru, Adam.

Tsundru. Tsundru. Yeah, you got to work your ass off, okay?

You got to work hard.

[Speaker 2]
You got to work hard.

[Speaker 1]
Okay, the word ... the Buddhism word for work hard, it has two parts inside. One is work hard.

[Speaker 2]
The other is have fun.

[Speaker 1]
There's a great yoga teacher in New York named Dharmamitra. He said, no pain, no gain. No fun, no yoga.

I like it.

[Speaker 2]
Okay, so the second thing you need is passion.

[Speaker 1]
Damn, I'm going to ... Yeah, let's give away a hundred dollars. Okay, you got to have passion.

Not like, oh, I gave away a hundred dollars. Not like that. God damn, I gave a hundred bucks.

[Speaker 2]
Hot, hot, hot.

[Speaker 1]
You call it guapa. Guapo? Guapa.

Hot. Okay, like be happy. And work hard.

So, it has two parts. Super, super excited.

[Speaker 2]
And work like crazy.

[Speaker 1]
Like Scott and Orit, okay? They never stop. Okay?

It's kind of boring.

[Speaker 2]
You go to their house, you know?

[Speaker 1]
There's nothing happening, they're just working.

[Speaker 2]
Okay.

[Speaker 1]
But they say it's fun. Okay, so like that. Just hard work, okay?

Okay, number three. When things happen, remember the pen. Remember the pen.

Your husband yells at you. You lose some money.

[Speaker 2]
Your kids are bad. Just think about the pen.

[Speaker 1]
In Tibetan, the third one is called chenpa. Chenpa. What's it mean?

What's it mean? Remember. Remember.

[Speaker 2]
Anything good happens, anything bad happens, just remember.

[Speaker 1]
Okay, where things are coming from.

[Speaker 2]
Okay, number four.

[Speaker 1]
Is meditation. Okay. So you have to be meditating.

So I told you, if you understand the pen, you cannot go to lower realm.

[Speaker 2]
Now I'm adding a few things.

[Speaker 1]
You have to want to help the world. You have to have passion for this path.

[Speaker 2]
Okay.

[Speaker 1]
You have to remember the pen. And you have to meditate every day.

[Speaker 2]
Okay? You have to. Have to.

Okay? Five minutes, okay.

[Speaker 1]
Okay? Ten minutes. You have many meditations now.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
You got to be meditating every day. Last one is called wisdom. Okay?

And that's really understanding the pen. So we had remembering the pen, and we had passion, we had a vision, we had meditation about the pen, but you also have to study about the pen. You have to learn more.

Then a person who wants to not go to the lower realms, you can't stop studying. So you can't stop brushing your teeth. Okay?

It's not enough to go to the retreat once every six months or something. If you only brush your teeth every six months, you will have a problem.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
You will lose your friends. Okay? Same with the ...

This is the same, okay? You have to keep improving your understanding. Okay, I ...

If you ... If you use these five ... These are called five powers.

[Speaker 2]
If you use them, your understanding of the pen will get stronger and stronger, and that ...

[Speaker 1]
that burns the old seeds, and you cannot go down. After you reach that level, you cannot go down.

[Speaker 2]
If you want to go deeper, if you're interested, if you're interested, the direct perception of emptiness is enough goodness to destroy the bad seeds.

[Speaker 1]
But that's not messing around with justice. It's just ... It's so good that the bad gets killed.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
But ... but you're supposed to think like this. If I can see emptiness directly, I will blow up those seeds, you know?

But if I can understand the pen with those five powers, I don't have to ... those seeds will never open. For me, that's okay.

Okay? Okay. You have bad seeds in your mind that don't take up any space, and will never open.

Is that a problem? Eh, that's okay. I can live with that.

Okay? That's okay. Alright.

Now, just because ... we got about ten more minutes, and then my deal is ... is ...

my agreement is finished. So, they asked me to teach a special subject. This relates to going to ...

fourth part of second path. Okay? And it's a little bit difficult.

Yeah. So, you got the cake, and now you get the icing. Usually I have someone drive a car up to the door.

Okay. What about a cell phone? So, there's a ...

I don't think so. Yeah, I know. I'm going to do a car.

I'm American.

[Speaker 2]
So, I'm going to go deeper.

[Speaker 1]
Don't panic if you don't understand it.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
You already aren't going to go to the bad place. Okay? So, that's all my contract said.

But, if you want to go deeper, farther, and you want to ... okay, change into an angel, then there's something deeper to understand. Okay?

So, think about Chevrolet, Toyota, and ... what's another one? Volkswagen.

Chevrolet, Toyota, and Volkswagen.

[Speaker 2]
Three kinds of cars.

[Speaker 1]
Okay? So, there's a ... there's a thing in the world called cars.

All the cars there are. Okay? And, then there's little cars on the road.

And they are ... they are examples of that big car.

[Speaker 2]
So, when I say car, what do you say ...

[Speaker 1]
what's it in Chinese? I don't know. Chuh?

Chuh? Chuh?

[Speaker 2]
Chuh?

[Speaker 1]
Or auto?

[Speaker 2]
Auto.

[Speaker 1]
Chuh? Auto. Auto in Spanish.

[Speaker 2]
Auto.

[Speaker 1]
Chuh? Chuh?

[Speaker 2]
Chuh?

[Speaker 1]
Car.

[Speaker 2]
Auto.

[Speaker 1]
When I say ... car, the idea comes in your mind. Okay?

A picture comes in your mind. And it's ... has four circles, and it has some doors, you know, it's a shape like this, or if it's a bochito, it's like that.

Okay? But when you say car, a picture comes in your mind. Okay?

And then, somebody drives a car up to here. When we taught it in Germany, Scott got permission to drive a car across the hotel hotel grounds, and he put a big cut in the grounds, and anyway. Then, in English, that's a car.

I don't know if you can say it in Chinese, I don't know. One car. A car.

A car.

[Speaker 2]
A car.

[Speaker 1]
A car.

[Speaker 2]
Un auto.

[Speaker 1]
Un auto. Okay? That's a car.

[Speaker 2]
So, try to imagine the difference. Car. Car.

[Speaker 1]
Then, some picture comes in your mind.

[Speaker 2]
Every time you hear car, some picture comes in your mind.

[Speaker 1]
Then, someone drives a car here, and they say, a car.

[Speaker 2]
Okay? A car.

[Speaker 1]
Okay? Now, something important. That picture, you can call it quality.

A quality. Car-ness.

[Speaker 2]
Give me a second. Yeah, I struggled with this translation. Car-ness, coche-dad, automobilidad.

[Speaker 1]
Automobilidad. Like libertad.

[Speaker 2]
Car-ness doesn't exist in English, neither ... that word doesn't exist in English.

[Speaker 1]
No, it doesn't exist in English.

[Speaker 2]
Yeah.

[Speaker 1]
You can say the quality of being a car. Okay? That's a mental thing.

[Speaker 2]
So, quality. Quality. Then, if a car drives up here, it is ...

[Speaker 1]
it is characteristic of that quality. No, not a characteristic.

[Speaker 2]
It's ...

[Speaker 1]
it's typical of that quality.

[Speaker 2]
Okay? It has that quality. Car-ness.

It's one thing which has car-ness. Cocheidad. Okay?

[Speaker 1]
In English, you can say car. And in English, when you talk about the quality of the car, you put quotation marks.

[Speaker 2]
And ...

[Speaker 1]
And in ... and when Americans talk, we say car. We go like that.

Car. The word car. By the way, the word is ...

is the picture in your mind. Okay? The language you're talking doesn't matter.

The real essence of a word is a mental picture. It is not a sound. True.

Auto. Car. It doesn't matter.

Those are just different sounds. The real word is the picture in your mind.

[Speaker 2]
When I say car, and if you're an English speaker, you get a picture of a car here. Then when somebody drives up in a car, you say a car or the car or one car.

[Speaker 1]
And it has the quality of that picture. Okay? You alright?

Then what if I say they're the same thing? Okay? Just think about it.

Okay? That will keep you out of the hell. Very powerful.

Okay? Same thing. Not different.

[Speaker 2]
Okay?

[Speaker 1]
You got to think about it. Okay?

[Speaker 2]
The picture is coming out of a seed.

[Speaker 1]
Car. Picture in your mind. It's coming out of a seed.

Then the mind puts that on those parts. And it becomes a car.

[Speaker 2]
A car.

[Speaker 1]
Okay? What if they're the same thing? Okay?

That's all. Think about it. If you understand it, you will reach the fourth level fast.

[Speaker 2]
The fourth level.

[Speaker 1]
And I can't help you. I can talk about it for another hour, but it won't help you. Now it's your job.

Like, if you're a really serious person in this class, on the plane back to Guangzhou, everybody else is watching movies, you should be sitting there like car.

[Speaker 2]
Car.

[Speaker 1]
Okay? Try to understand. You have to do it.

[Speaker 2]
I can't do it for you.

[Speaker 1]
Okay?

[Speaker 2]
You have to do it. Apple.

[Speaker 1]
Apple. Manzana. What do you call it?

[Speaker 2]
Pinquo.

[Speaker 1]
Pinquo. You have to taste it yourself. I cannot describe the taste.

Okay? I can tell you apple's red, it's round, you know, but I cannot tell you the taste. So, there's your ...

if you ...

[Speaker 2]
if you care, if you want to stay out of the hells, try to understand the pin, and don't forget it when things get hard. Okay? When the husband gets angry, when the wife is cheating on you, okay?

When someone steals your money, okay?

[Speaker 1]
Don't ... don't throw away your Buddhism. Okay?

That's the time when you need it. Oh, that's coming from my seed. I have to be more careful.

I shouldn't lie. Okay? Like that.

Keep watching yourself.

[Speaker 2]
Watch your own seeds.

[Speaker 1]
Okay? And then you cannot go to a lower birth.

[Speaker 2]
If you want to go higher, you know, to become an angel, you must chew on the car.

[Speaker 1]
Okay?

[Speaker 2]
You have ...

[Speaker 1]
for the ... for ... for the next few weeks, okay?

Just think about car. And is ... is a car different from car?

Okay? And if you understand it finally, you will ... you will see emptiness directly.

[Speaker 2]
When you see it directly, it takes about twenty minutes.

[Speaker 1]
And at that moment, your body starts to change.

[Speaker 2]
And nobody can stop it.

[Speaker 1]
It's like putting water in cement powder? In cement powder? Powder.

Cement powder?

[Speaker 2]
Okay.

[Speaker 1]
You can't ... Once you put water in cement powder, you can't say, Please don't get hard. Please don't get hard.

It's too late.

[Speaker 2]
To see emptiness directly is like water. You are like cement powder.

[Speaker 1]
If the water touches the cement powder, at that moment, the body starts to change into angel's body and nobody can stop it. Death cannot stop it. Okay?
