[Speaker 1] It's like, where have you been? Where have you been? I've been practicing for years and years and years. I've been practicing for years and years and years. Why do you show up now? Why do you show up now? And Maitreya said, well, I've always been here. Maitreya said, I've always been here. You just didn't have enough compassion to see me. But you didn't have enough compassion to see me. So in that moment, when he had that ultimate love for the very disgusting worm, So in that moment, when he had that ultimate love for the very disgusting worm, and then Maitreya taught him this book. This holy teacher taught him the deepest, deepest mantras. This holy teacher taught him the deepest, deepest mantras. So where we are currently We're trying to understand We're trying to understand what makes for Holy speech And what you know It's still like if my prayer is speaking his teacher What what makes that those words special in other words? Not? Okay, my previous So we're trying to decide If I hear those special words in your mind, are they still so good work? I'm trying to define or decide if I hear those words in my mind Do they still qualify as sacred words or not? But I just want to say that we have One moment, do you want me to turn on the audio here too? Like that, is that good? Okay, of course Is So we're trying to decide what you know if i'm not enlightened being which I'm not And I say words that Maitreya said Are those sacred words It's it doesn't seem that important Very deep implications Because if you could hear sacred words in your mind that might come up when you're debating Having an angel devil debate in your own head Maybe you might be able to hear the sacred words that could possibly transform you and your world Sacred Cool, so that's where that's where we are So sit back relax Put your seatbelt on Get your coffees It's gonna be fun Yes Do we need a chair another chair up here for them For this event, could we get a fourth chair up here because we're going to bring that other tenet readers up on stage When that's today I think You ready yeah And what would it be similar to the question? We're going to put it next to the here Sure, yeah Okay Uh in the meantime Uh, if you have an extra empty chair Next to you. Can you raise your hand? Is that was that Raise your hand if you have an empty chance If you guys want to sit down there's many chairs Uh There's an empty chair up here for you Front row 50 dollars All right Uh, all right, i'm gonna ask tim to read the first chapter the first chapter the first sentence Is Here we go Yeah, good, uh, so we're debating What What is the speech of an enlightened being and what is not the speech of an enlightened being, okay It's like before you study the bible you have to decide which parts of the bible you think are from god And which parts are not from god We And we have the same problem with the ancient asian text You have to decide what part of those books is spoken by an enlightened being and which part is not spoken by In general, uh the all Database program john brady's program They saved 990 books from ancient india which was spoken by It's 100 000 pages In english it would be 1 million pages Uh and john brady's project has saved 3700 explanations from ancient india And that's 210 000 pages in tibetan Yes Which is one and a half million pages in english And we finished typing those it took about 30 years we finished it 10 years ago And And there are 300 000 tibetan explanations of those books And that's about 15 million pages Is We finished uh 35 years work to preserve those books input them And we're about one percent finished So we think seven more generations Foreign Because me and john lost all our hair we need to pass it on to the next gen He lost more hair than me Because he has to do their fundraising also And we pay about 100 people in poor countries to type the books Okay, so here we go. Uh, tim's gonna read khachid means So it means that there's we're starting a new debate and someone comes up with a new wrong idea His book is eight Volumes Okay Is His book is eight volumes Uh, it was written 500 years ago Uh, it's a great explanation of my chair It will take 50 years to transfer He has to live a long life Okay, and uh, there's only two copies in the world One copy was written by hand in refugee care We are using that one And the other one is in a library in europe You know And we've been negotiating with them for 20 years and still we didn't get it We just want a copy So anyway, okay, uh park button Um, yeah Yeah, and he gives an example that person is He's the hero of the heart sutra Heart sutras probably and the diamond color sutra. Those two are the most famous sutras Sutras definition is teaching given by a being who knows the whole universe enlightened being So the roughly the definition of a sutra is a spiritual book which was spoken by The two most famous are the heart sutra and the diamond And there are 1000 other sutras Uh, and the funny thing is in the heart sutra the buddha doesn't talk Which is He says only two words in the heart sutra And the rest of the sutra is a conversation between the two students But buddha is controlling them like a puppet But And so we call it a sutra And one of those talkers is shariputra So here it says let's think about shariputra's cue his mind his mind stream Inside of that mind stream is the teachings on emptiness by buddha So Buddha taught a hundred thousand verses emptiness Twenty five thousand twenty cinco mil twenty Twelve eight thousand And then the smallest smallest one is diamond color sutra But shariputra memorized the eight thousand verses So So if gibson memorized the 8 000 verses About emptiness Is that the speech of the buddha or not? In his mind yes or no If not We have to see okay, so he says take the 8 000 verses in the mind of shariputra Is it worth Of having given up all japa what's to be obstacles obstacles So the only person who gave up all obstacles is buddha Um Does does shariputra memorize those books yes Is what we memorize Belongs to a enlightened being or not What do you think he's not enlightened Is But do the words belong to me Okay, we have a debate Because it is buddha's speech Then the answer by our author Is Because those words were spoken by buddha originally Doesn't mean they are enlightened speech non-buddhist Okay, so there's a difference between a sutra in the buddha's mind and a suit My computer's a little bit slow, uh too much stuff Uh No here you don't use the trackpad You all do it. Oh, okay. Yeah. Uh, it is the speech of a buddha because Because this song was given up Yeah, uh, it is the speech of a of an enlightened being yeah, then he uses the word not not means speech Okay, and you're not supposed to use normal words with buddha Yeah, you can't talk about the speech of the buddha you're not supposed to say speech Yeah, you have to say Speech You can't say hey, it's just what buddha said You cannot use you cannot use regular words You can't say hey dude, this is what buddha said You have to say this is what my teacher said So he corrects himself he says first he says what he said then he says oh holy words Okay, uh now we usually have someone come up and read together Yeah Okay, roxanna is a graduate of our overseas study program And we have a program it's a free program to study, uh overseas And if you're interested to apply talk to roxanna How long did you spend She was there for five weeks And her tibetan Okay, so she's going to read the next part Loud and slow [Speaker 2] Foreign [Speaker 1] Okay, oh she's gonna make me do it now, yeah Okay Okay All right, so And then what's a town here So together Was it what was it referring to the town here what's the cell referring to Hello Just the base of your argument or your base of your argument Your first time your first original original. Okay, good And then It's necessary, correct, so It is necessarily the case And how would you put that Um, right in the speech of the buddha is This Good and then and then we say well, why would you say that roxanna? All right So Oh If something is something is So in the end Needs to needs to right it must be Which has Correct Okay If you that's what it was said, right by whom the other guy Right in the first person And what's not necessarily the case If it is the body of Lord buddha and it's not necessarily the case that it has been positive, correct, right? Okay Okay Yes, sounds good good job, it's really hard for him Stay stay Uh, is it true? That if something is the body of a buddha It's the body of a person who gave up all obstacles. Yes or no? I'll say it again Is it true? That if something is the body of the buddha It's the body of a person who gave up all obstacles Is Therefore Therefore If something is the speech of the buddha It must be speech in the body of a person who has removed all obstacles Correct Right Yeah, good you didn't You caught the trick. Okay It's a trick If something is the body Of buddha, is it the body of a person who removed all obstacles? Yes or no? They say yes, that's true Therefore If something is the speech of the buddha It must be speech in a person who was eliminating all obstacles, right? Then you have to say not necessarily Then I say well, what's your counter example? It's me, I memorized the Heart Sutra I memorized the Heart Sutra But it's not in the mind of a person who eliminated all obstacles By the way, if you want to memorize sutra It's a very good idea The shortest one, the second shortest one is the Heart Sutra You can do it in two and a half minutes Like that, you can do it in two minutes Well, I'm going to teach you something There's a sutra called Ah There's a sutra called Ah It's a real sutra, it's in the scriptures Buddha got up and said Ah Okay, now you guys can memorize You can say Ah Okay, you memorized it But is it in the mind of an enlightened being? Okay, here we go Next line All right Yeah Okay Okay Because it's kind of Because it is The thing we're talking about the subject Right, you can't agree to that because that is the subject we're talking about Which I don't know how to explain it Make her read one more, maybe she'll make it Okay, okay Yeah Yeah, yeah So can there be speech in Shariputra's mind, yes or no? Yeah, there can be, he can memorize the Heart Sutra, for example But there are other kinds of Buddha's speech And that is called speech which the Buddha allowed us to say For example Buddha said After I pass away And you write down my sutras And you write down my sutras By the way, they were not written during the Buddha's time. They memorized as he taught By the way, those names that were written during the Buddha's time, they were passed on to other people Human tape recorders Then he said, you know, later generations you're gonna get more and more stupid Then you'll have to write everything down When you write it down The person who wrote it down should identify themselves Like my name is Mike and this is what I heard Tim say So every sutra is written down, 990 sutras and tantras It starts with This is what I heard Those are not the Buddha's words Those are the words of a non-Buddha who is saying at the meeting they had, this is what I heard They probably had good microphones, which is why They had good microphones, so they didn't hear They said, evam maya shuddham Hey, this is what I heard Now, question Is that part of the sutra or not? We say it is part of the sutra Is it the speech of an enlightened being? We call it special exception Because Buddha allowed us to add that It's like a guarantee of quality, quality guarantee This is what I heard So that became part of the sutra It is a legal part of a sutra It's called Allowed addition Who allowed it? Buddha Okay So now we're talking about Is there any allowed? Buddha speech in the mind of Shariputra Now we're talking about Is there any allowed? Buddha speech in the mind of Shariputra Yeah, why? He memorized the Heart Sutra, for example The Heart Sutra begins with evam maya shuddham Hey, here's what I heard That's what I heard So is it sutra? Is it the speech of an enlightened being? No It's Shariputra's speech Is it sutra? Is it sutra? Yeah Shariputra memorized the sutra The whole sutra is the speech of an enlightened being But the first three words Are not the speech of an enlightened being But they are part of the sutra Therefore Is all the sutra in Shariputra's mind The speech of an enlightened being or not? Now you can give a better answer No The first three words Are sutra But they are not the speech of an enlightened being Therefore Technically There can be sutra which is not the speech of an enlightened being Because The enlightened being allowed us to add those three words Okay Now Uh Now Now some guy comes up and says, you know what? Those first three words are the speech of an enlightened being. I say I say those first three words are the speech of an enlightened being I say those first three words are the speech of an enlightened being And we say You chose Can you guys make the microphone work? or um You can't agree to that because that is the speech of someone who has not removed his Yeah, he has not removed the auroras to this Yeah, okay You cannot say the first three words of the sutra inside of Shariputra's mind are the speech of an enlightened being You cannot say the first three words of the sutra inside of Shariputra's mind are the speech of an enlightened being Because they are the words of a person who has not eliminated all his problems And two There's a word here which emphasizes that fact In this sentence There's a word one word Which emphasizes the fact That this is not the speech of an enlightened being For a hundred dollars What's that Um Explain why what should it be? This is a buddhist For another hundred dollars from me If it were Guys can we really leave the microphones on be nice. Um instead of knock What would it be? Screaming out loud Well, that's the definition but what's the example of Good choice It's just one syllable just one word one syllable Are we not in the frontier let's say again, no All right, okay, here's what is it Um, I'm gonna skip this part. Okay, let's go to the next page. Is that okay? I'm gonna skip these pieces. That's great All right, uh Thank you. Roxanne. [Speaker 2] I think we should hear Roxanne in the head I think we should hear Roxanne in the head [Speaker 1] Okay By the way, don't get scared from this class This is not a normal class This class is for a translator You're just listening to a class meant for them It doesn't work the microphone doesn't work It's too much All the other classes today and tomorrow will be normal This is a special class you are not supposed to understand In the monastery in the geji course we call it seed planting class Semillas And our teacher will throw us into a class Which we will take six or seven years later [Speaker 2] And we come out with a headache and nothing else [Speaker 1] And the teacher says good good the headache means you've got lots of seeds Oscar, can you come up and read? So Oscar your turn So don't avoid these translation classes So Oscar is going to read now Don't avoid these translation classes I'm lost Also kind of weird that they are going to read Where is Kachi? Oscar, can you read? Yes, you can Let's go again Let's do all the words Here we go I'm going to help you Translate Alright Some good comes and say Some do And some do comes along Un cuarte viene y dice That's a good translation Buena traducción In Papa Shabu There he likes being shabu Right El ser El ser realizado In the duty car In his mind He does the words of the Buddha From where? En su mente tiene las palabras de un Buda De donde? From the teachings On emptiness Specifically the gay The gay content The gay? Yeah, sorry The 8,000 verses Correct So in the 8,000 verses The teachings amounted to 8,000 verses In the mind So the teachings On emptiness Of the 8,000 verses In the mind of Shakyamuni Alright Let's go from that So Vamos a Entrar por atrás Vamos a empezar por atrás He has it Something said that to the Duke Duke Duke 60 In your mind Components Right So the The One of those Young I don't know So many letters Speech Speech En sus palabras Whatever I heard that Ah One of that This is Beautiful qualities Okay, so Real quick Okay In 5 minutes The class will finish La clase va a terminar We have a tradition For 15 minutes after the class finishes The translator, which is Tim He will lead a discussion This discussion is How in the How on earth Are you going to use this class In your real life? Is there anything in the class today You can use in your real life? And Tim will lead that discussion In 5 minutes So please start thinking about Your ideas Okay, and the other thing is here There's a mention of the 60 Amazing qualities Of a Buddha's speech They are really 64 We covered them in DCI level leadership No one ever taught them We found them, we taught them But Of all those 64 I think it is Qualities of The speech The best one And the highest one Is also found in the Yoga Sutra Say sarva Buddha Buddha Snyana Sarva Buddha Buddha Snyana I would give a hundred dollars If anyone can translate Sarva Buddha Not you This is what the Buddha said No By the way, it's one of It's the best of all the qualities Of the Buddha's speech Today You have to answer I'll give you a clue It also happened in Jerusalem After the crucifixion In the same river Yeah When the Buddha talks Each person hears their own language So, every person in the world And every language can understand Buddha And that's what happened In the days in Jerusalem After the crucifixion The disciples For an extra hundred dollars Ready? What language did the disciple Thomas learn and hear? A hundred dollars, raise your hand If you don't raise your hand There's no money What language did he specialize in? Peter did Greek He went and taught in Rome What did Thomas do? Wait, raise your hand I'm not paying money Who's choosing? Tim? Nice A hundred dollars And he went to India He taught there for the rest of his life He died in Madras, Chennai His church is still there That's the Eastern French Catholicism is the Western French Western Northern French Orthodox Right Okay Tim's going to lead a discussion How could you use what we talked about today? After 15 minutes of that Every Saturday We have what? Peacetree World News And there's this handsome guy from Mexico named Juan Caso And he tells us what's going on in the whole world in the world we live in So 15 minutes discussion 15 minutes news Can somebody take this microphone? Because it's the only one that's working so people can hear us Okay Alright How's it going? What came up in your mind that would make this relevant to your life right now? Right now I have been learning Buddhism in a self-made way and to me you go What's the name of the school? [Speaker 2] Shudra Dharma Pahangyan Okay, so Can you say the name? [Speaker 1] Shudra Dharma Pahangyan Some of the teachings I learned by reading this Well Balao you are not using the same instruction you don't understand these teachings It's difficult to understand why just by reading it blessings will come to you but now that we understand those are the words of an enlightened being I have a question for you. It's very nice that you are thinking like that. I would ask you to like, do you learn them as you have always learned them? Or any kind of special ability? Like any other ability that you need to be able to learn. It will only have to be from a kind or source. I think it can come from anyone. Can you say a little bit more about that? What do you think about that? Can you explain more about that? [Speaker 2] It can be any kind of author. I was saying that if you wanted to put a temple in your house, and you offered it to someone, then you weren't doing Bodhisattva, then you should put Buddha in your mind. If you wanted to take flowers to your mother's grave, then Buddha is speaking to you, or you are speaking to Buddha through a person, not a Bible. [Speaker 1] If you want to have a temple at home, you should try to see your mom as a Buddha, and take flowers to your mom, and that way the Buddha will be able to speak to you through your mom. I like that. Muy bonito. Who else has an idea? Lucia. Lucia, did you just go to Peru? [Speaker 2] It was wonderful. We will show the video with Juan. [Speaker 1] Vamos a enseñar el video de Perú, porque va a ir a Perú Lucia. [Speaker 2] I'm sorry, I didn't hear you. [Speaker 1] She was teaching there. [Speaker 2] I have a question or a debate. [Speaker 1] You can speak in Spanish or in Portuguese. Should I translate? So, it could be both ways. It could be that I hear the words of the Buda inside of my head, but also it could be that Buda manifesting inside of me, beyond that, to me. Voy a hacer una pregunta distinta. Así evitas el debate. ¿Cómo es posible que pueda escuchar palabras sagradas de un ser iluminado? Si yo no estoy iluminado. Si viene de mí. ¿Cómo puedo tener las semillas para crear un ser iluminado si yo no estoy iluminado? Todavía. As we happened to see yesterday, the person who's asking, how do I plant the seeds if I am not enlightened? That person is not there. But my seeds are there. No sé, Lucía, yo siento que sí estoy aquí. Y no estoy iluminado, pero sospecho mucho de ciertas personas a mi alrededor. ¿Cómo puede ser que mis semillas sean tan poderosas para crear perfección si yo no soy perfecto todavía? Because they are not coming from you in your current state. ¿Pero quién sembró las semillas antes de mi yo actual que está percibiendo las semillas? It could have been Tim or maybe any other customer. Yeah, different you. Pero si ese otro cuate que yo era antes no estaba iluminado, ¿también cómo pudo haber sembrado esas semillas para que yo vea algo iluminado? That's why they are seeds. If it was a ripening, then it would not be a seed anymore. Vamos a pausar esto e ir a la pregunta de atrás. ¿Otra forma de evitar el debate? Can you translate yourself in Spanish? Okay, I think now I understand. He's saying like maybe your future enlightened being planted the seed for you, but it's ripening for you from future to past instead of from present to future. So your future enlightened being planted the seed for you to see and enlighten something. I think this is a really good debate. And I think we should take it to the debate ground later. No, because there's something, I'm going to say there's something that we think is self-existent in this debate. And that's why we're not able to find the right answer. Because if it weren't possible, there has to be something that allows us to become something we've never been yet. To become a realized being, to become an Arya, we've never been an Arya before. So there is a possibility that I can change, but how does that happen? So I would suggest looking for the, what do you think is self-existent in this argument? Take that apart a little bit. All right, one more question in the back. Over there, no, to the right. Hi. Hola. When I repeat the Medicine Buddha Sutra, I imagine I am Medicine Buddha. And I'm sending all that to all beings in the universe. I understand that plants the seeds so I can achieve to become Medicine Buddha. And I also understand we are all one. I am Alejandra Silva. I am Geshe Michael. I am Sophie Arellano. [Speaker 2] I am Buddha. [Speaker 1] Is that my question? That's a cool question. Okay, this is a good question. You know, how are we all one, but how are we not all one? I mean, I'm not Alejandra. But there's an Alejandra there that's coming from my seeds. So in that way, somehow we're connected. And in some way, you're a being who has separate seeds, but you're coming from me too. And then thinking of yourself as your enlightened self, that's an incredibly powerful seed. And if I'm looking at all of you, who are you? Are you 200 people staring at us? Or are you 200 Buddhas looking like human beings who are trying to teach me something? I get to sit up here today. Oscar and Juan and Geshe Michael are sitting up here today. What if I'm suspicious of you, that you're helping me? Who's helping whom? I think that's a good place to think about it. And how are you helping others? As you or as imagining yourself as a Buddha helping others. We'll continue with this later. And now, the Peachtree World News. Geshe-la has something. Real quick. The day that the disciples of Jesus began to speak in all languages, it was 50 days after the Resurrection. So the holiday is called Pentecost, which is Greek for 50. And that ability is the highest of the 64 qualities of a Buddha's speech. Thank you, dear teacher. A round of applause, please, to our teacher's team, Geshe Michael, and our wonderful translator, Juan Jasso. Welcome, everybody. Thank you very much. This is a space, as Geshe Michael said, where we take a moment to share with you all of the different projects that are ongoing around the world. As you know, these translation classes happen every Monday and every Saturday. So if you want to see Geshe Michael live, teaching every week, this is the show that you have to see. And I would like to show you the first image. This is it. This project is called Xuanzang's Tower. It's an initiative to train translators working with the ancient wisdom texts. If you want to be part of these classes, for only $1,000 a month, no, it's a joke, it's free. Just follow the QR code and you will have access to both Monday and Saturday classes. To make this program possible, there's a whole initiative. John Brady searches for ancient texts in Asia. When they find them, they send them to a computation center in India. They digitalize them. They send them to Sedona. They're translated to English and then afterwards to many other languages. For example, Aldo and Alex Rivas and other people in Mexico translate them to Spanish. The content is amazing. To preserve this wisdom, we have a new project. It's called the Good Night Book Club. Did I say it right, Rob? No? Good Night Book Club. Good Night Book Club. For this, I would like to invite our regional coordinator, Olga. Please. And our wonderful and very loved creative director, Geshe Michael Roach. They are both going to tell us a little bit about what is this and why it's so amazing. A quick introduction. During the COVID time, I had to stay home. I couldn't travel. I got lazier and lazier. For the first time in my life, I started to watch television. It got worse and worse and worse. I watched longer and longer and worse and worse things. And then finally, we found this new idea, which is the Good Night Book Club. We noticed also that young people in the world are having a lot of trouble with the internet. In the United States last week, a young man shot President Obama with an ex-President Trump. He's a good young man. He's a normal young man, high school student. He just saw online many videos about shooting people. He doesn't have any political views. He's a normal kid. He's not crazy. He just saw on the internet how to make a gun, how to shoot somebody. So I think this is a dangerous thing. It's a good thing and it's a dangerous thing. And it's very good to be able to put it down and take a break. So personally, I decided with my wife's approval, like she told me to do it, at 10 p.m., I put away my phone and I put away my laptop. Then I read something inspiring, like I will read some sutra or something on paper and then I will sleep. It's the first time in my life I had eight hours good sleep. I was in Shenzhen, China two weeks ago. There's a huge Yves Saint Laurent advertisement. This eye makeup is so good you look like you had eight hours of sleep. I said, I don't need the eye makeup. I did have eight hours of sleep. And now every day I can get up early. Six o'clock I feel fresh and I can work. I work straight for five, six hours. My productivity doubled since I started to lock up my computer and my phone. Why I have to lock it up? Because after three days I will go and find the phone and I will open it again at midnight because I cannot control myself. So, we made a special bag. Can you see it here? We'll show you the video. Go. Video. Please. But with the music. Well, as you can see it has a watch lock and if you're like me you're going to need it. So, this project is in many regions of the world. This project is in many regions of the world and it has two main objectives. The first one is that we can focus and leave social media as well as electronics, diverse electronics, all electronics and that we're able to see how much more we can learn as much as we do that more. And it's not easy but that's why we're the book night club because we're helping each other to make it, to be able to do it. And the second objective is that everything that I've collected with this club helps us preserve all these teachings that we're so in love with and in love with. And I always like to think that if this was a big change in my life what can we do to make sure these teachings reach the new generations? So these teachings are able to reach the kids, both boys and girls so that they can have a little bit of hope. So please reach us out so that you can be part of the book night club. I would like to add something else. This is how it works in general. You will scan the QR code. If you subscribe to the book night club they will send you translated books either by Geshe Michael or by the new translators. You will be getting them at different points in time throughout the year and they will also send you your bag. Your bag for your electronics. A beach bag so when you go surfing to San Pancho you can take it with you and in addition to that we can show the next image. There is an initiative in which you can start receiving emails daily about the progress that Geshe Michael is making with his personal translation. Geshe Michael is translating an amazing book by Jetson Kappa. It's called Illumination of the True Thought. It's called Illumination of the True Thought. It's amazing. You can get daily emails. It's the next image. Where Geshe Michael will share with us how is his translation doing. It's a new idea that he just discovered from the book and in addition to that his personal life projects for example the new project about building a new meditation cabin or for example the next image when he told us about this man who found the diamond and he sent us as well an image of his house in Mexico and many other things. So it's an amazing idea because you will be even more connected to the teachings but you will also be helping us to make all of this content possible. At the beginning I resisted subscribing to the club they forced me to do it in front of a screen and now I'm very happy that I did it. So I want to motivate you to please subscribe to the Good Night Club. So we ask you to make a donation every month if you join this club you get a daily email from Grandpa almost every day and you get copies of the translated books by the translators and we just ask you to give something every day like what you can give anything can be one peso can be a million pesos but you should know I have to raise the money for the translators and I have to raise the money for the printing and it's $880,000 US per year call it one million and it's a lot of pressure on me there's 12 families of translators they keep having more and more kids right Word? Word start with no kids now he's got three kids and Grandpa has to feed them so even one dollar is okay per day or something I need help and so far in the whole world we are covering 25% of all of the salary so I personally really appreciate it it's less pressure for me and we can have fun and you won't believe how much your mind changes if you lock up your computer and your phone every night even you don't get this bag and this lock go buy one and buy a lock you won't be able to control yourself I'm talking from experience and lock up lock up your electronics and most important teach your children to lock it up otherwise I'm afraid what's going to happen in the world and if you don't want us to force you to subscribe to the club live you can do it voluntarily I'm joking it's going to be a pleasure to have you be part of the club classes in all Latin America and I would like to welcome Aldo and Paulina who are very very loved friends and I want to say that it's a great fortune not only be colleagues and work together but that they are my friends honestly I truly value that and I want to motivate everyone to develop friendships with the people from your community and not only have them to be a work relationship but that the friendship becomes actually something very valuable to you for them it has been something very impactful to tell us how are things been doing with Latin America they started this project like a year ago and I would like them to tell us a little bit how this came to be Thank you everyone for being here so last year we got together with Geshe Michael to ask him as local teachers from Guadalajara and from Mexico what else did we have to do what was our mission as a group now that we had this valuable teaching what was the best thing that we could do with them and he told us and he told us that there are 600 million of Spanish speakers and that we needed to reach all of them we needed to share these teachings with all of those persons and travel throughout Latin America create programs such as this one contact our friends from other countries such as Colombia Argentina Costa Rica so that we could start sharing these valuable teachings and that's what we did last year and we would like to share with you the video of last year's tour [Speaker 2] of Guadalajara [Speaker 1] we want to take advantage of this occasion to thank our local producer in Colombia who is today here with us.
