Oh, no, right on time. Ben? Yeah, sure. [Говорящий 2] Yeah. [Говорящий 1] Say something. I don't have a whole lot to say. I'm, you know, no more capable than you being charming. Look, there's even Nick. I'm here. No, I'm not in trouble of saying anything. Join the movement. I'm trying. During the trend. That's why I'm here. That's quite the classroom. Well, I got to put my hand on the wall. That's why it's. I'm excited to be here. Excited for another day of shrinks I'm sour. I'll stay co host, and I'm looking forward to a fun class let's see. We've got the numbers are growing of our attendance as we speak so I'm just stalling. So the masses of people show up. They're, they're just avoiding the homework. Well, good news. About that. I should just start. Let's get it going. You look really classy today by the way so I don't know if you got new glasses or something. Oh yeah. Actually prescription glasses. Oh, too much working on the computer. They're kind of good fellas. Awesome. All right. Awesome. Thank you very much, Nick and Ben. Today, we are going to do Master Shanti Davis in one of our teams classes. Wait, before we do that let's get our translators Can you please raise your hand just to make sure we keep a good pace of Sharon. To my screen. Oh, Alex. Okay, cool. So, Sorry, let me just. Okay, cool. So please give us a wave. If we start speaking too fast. That'll be we'll take that as or send it in the chat. I wanted to apologize because this was a semi late minute notice. And I didn't get to do homework or translation. So, good news for all of you who are stalling for the quiz. We have no quiz today. So, today is a team class. So I'll ask my fellow, my fellow translators, who know a lot more than me, Mr. Ben and Nick and Gibson to help out in this class. So, one quick question. Who remembers what happened last class, something pretty important. New chapter. Yes, new chapter. We reached chapter number three so super exciting. Let's get to it. Finish chapter two. Can you guys see my screen. Yes. Awesome. Okay, so we did get one. So, it was chapter three, five minutes ago. Yes. Let's see. 10 minutes maybe. All right. [Говорящий 2] So, we cover the name of the chapter. [Говорящий 1] I don't think we did. Oh, because this was the name of. Yeah, this is chapter three. So, the bodhisattvas way of life, third chapter something like that. You got a lot of it. Yes. Hello Simba means the third chapter, and junk food, definitely means body cheetah, and it's young shoes soon. Soon while bodhisattva. Anybody want to chime in on the young so soon. Is this the chapter on the benefits of bodhichitta. I kind of thought it was grass. Sorry, thoroughly grasped. Yeah, that's what I thought it means. Literally means but what does that mean. Is that code for benefits because I thought it was benefits until I saw that was ago is this how to get bodhichitta. My guess is we're going to find out. Oh, you're probably right. I think it's on the benefits. Chapter. Okay, cool. Certainly starts out with a positive note that much I know. I think youngsters someone here is how to thoroughly grasp it like how to really get bodhichitta. Right. And the benefits. Oh, oh my gosh. I never know. Oh, no. I never know how to write that word. In class last last class guess you Michael said this was the chapter on how to think like a bodhisattva. Oh, makes sense. I can help with this one because I already worked on it. This is as far as I got with sages. Helping with sages translation. And I couldn't make sense of it at first and then I got to the end and I was like, ah, year on what is a very famous thing in DCI, as guess you Michael would probably point out. Because it's kind of what he turned into the idea of coffee meditation. I know. Yeah, it's the Tibetan word for rejoicing. So, I don't know. Pretty easy right. Right. When you're rejoicing. No, no means tired and also means to rest. Right. So I don't know. I guess I was trying to find an artful way to put together but I also didn't put a lot of time into it and you're totally right. It's like they rest and they rest with virtue. So, in this case, I went down both if you look at the English it says, they find the respite of virtue. Also a gala. But I also through exhausted in there but I could have just been from not thinking. Okay, but still it's like they somehow to express maybe there's a more accurate way to express, probably that they're, they're going from do now. They're getting a Nelson from doing now from gay walk. Like, they're getting a no sorry gala, like somehow virtuous rest. Yeah, but then it seems to take them to Gala. I think it's may I think it's he's saying, may all beings in the lower realms through their virtue get a rest from suffering as well may they remain in bliss. I, I rejoice I hope that with happiness I hope this happens, I feel like it's that kind of prayer. The compound at least in, in Sanskrit above Dukkha Vishvam is super suggestive of those being together. So, yeah, arrest from thing. Yeah, it's exhaust I mean they probably are exhausted from suffering. I should think, but it says arrest. Yeah. So as far as what I put, they're finding the respite of virtue, which will ease their suffering because then there's a dare dare nay, which is I think another word for like rest, or like, No, the, the, the R is just a lot doing may they remain in bliss, all of them. Yeah, all those who have that suffering. Yeah. No, I mean I totally, I got that. Remaining in bliss is kind of like chill. Oh my gosh, I don't think it's chill at all. Bliss 24 seven. No chill. Really. No every long I see is always laughing they're not just chill. All right, so you don't think it's that he's rejoicing. Maybe it's not. I do. Oh, yeah, I, I rejoice. For the fact that all beings who are suffering in the lower realms are now get some kind of virtuous sleep or rest, and that, and they are are also stay in bliss, I, I rejoice for that like I pray for that I hope for that something like that. Yeah, they're staying in bliss and getting happy. They're gonna go away Jason. So basically just this this last part we're seeing bliss. Well maybe doctors not ease their suffering but it's rather these suffering beings will. Somehow we have to say these suffering beings will get blissful. Instead of saying he's they're suffering. Because it's Danielle Chen so it's really suffering beings not. Let's not they're suffering. Okay. Right, I do know Chen is probably a suffering being. Yes. And the doc the doc means all of them or something. Yeah, suffering beings. Yeah. You're suffering day. Those suffering beings will find bliss. Oh no, you don't have to delete all those lines. Well, yeah, maybe they're not exhausted things. You can send it to me at 52 say Jim. [Говорящий 2] Where, when there is a prosperity. I have to learn a so like a new story. [Говорящий 1] Virtuous rest. Oh, okay. Yeah. Thank you. Rest of virtue. I tried to rescue a virtue. Yeah. The rest of it's kind of a weird one. It is. Awesome. I'm going to have to bear for a few minutes you guys are going to hold it down. Okay. All right. Thanks Nick. So, let's see. Anyone else feels like reading. Let's see. Let's see. Oscar, do you want to go for it. Thank you. Thank you. Luchin Corway. Yeah. It's some some prayer I think still first line may all beings collect the Yeah, I think, I think it's still stating something that this person is praying for, like in the previous one it was rejoicing about something. And so now maybe also, you know, from that person's point of view in this. Yeah. Yeah, I don't disagree. So many reduce or collective collective virtue that causes enlightenment. Yeah, I don't know it might be that those last two lines seem to go together. Do people think that it, they're going to go, they're going to lead this verse, they might be separate the first four lines in the last two. Like not as separate versus but as the flow of ideas. Well, it's like, I was wondering why I guess four. Yeah, sorry what Nick. Well, there's three rejoicings here he rejoices for the first line. He then rejoices for the second line and he rejoices, I mean for the third line and rejoices for the fifth. Sorry, Jerry. Okay, so yeah we'll find a policy and then, yeah, I rejoice, blah blah blah blah blah, then I rejoice blah blah blah, like three times in a row. I rejoice about the virtue collected by all beings. That brings about their enlightenment or something like that. Oh, yeah, how are we going to make it two lines. Because he just says Taylor, he's like, you know that thing I just said. This is somehow gonna have to be two lines. Well the virtues that causes. Yay. Perfect. Perfect. All right. Looch parties something. Lucha means people just means those who have a body means. It's another way to say some chin. Uh huh. Yeah. Yeah. I rejoice for everyone who's tired. Definitely freed of the suffering of the cycle. Something like that. Some sort of something. Maybe I rejoice in the freedom. Uh huh. Everyone went from freedom attained by those. Those who are in the circle of pain or something. Bring beans who are certain to achieve freedom. Yeah. We should look at the Sanskrit. The Nepal looks like a Sanskrit modifier. Yeah. Yeah. Prefix. There's a discrepancy. Oh, right. Oh, man. He did give leave us some indications. He looked near Moksha. That's the Nepal. Yeah. They're going to attain enlightenment. Literally. I can't tell if it's supposed to be. What's going to happen. I mean, Or what did happen. Venerable Paul, you think it's what did happen? I. I do think so. so okay this is like a i don't know this this chapter seems to be starting off with all about the things to to rejoice about that that have already occurred or that are gonna occur when people practice this path yeah yeah i just don't know i don't know does it have to be passed i don't know kramer um no i don't see that it has to what i don't see that it has to be past tense no yeah i don't know i'm just trying to figure out it's just an uh an adverb right the name bar is the name bar is a prefix yeah yeah definitely free right yeah that seems right i mean moksha versus near moksha i don't have think has a very different meaning in the sanskrit it's it's not out of the question that it's even for sanskrit meter oh yeah so i don't know it could be will be or who are but i don't know i don't think we can tell oh yeah it's not passed anyway it could it could be but i don't know it i don't think it's definitive get it uh well but we can say that if they're in that freedom it's definitely past tense that they were in in the circle of suffering true true but it could be who who will gain that freedom is what i'm saying yeah that's all well i don't know it says um lu jian right still sentient being yeah it just means bodied semption could mean not enlightened but lu chen i don't know if that i mean buddhists have bodies are they called lu chen i mean that is jason carver uses this as a sentient being in three principal paths mm-hmm yeah it's a living being so i think it's pretty clearly saying living beings in sansara though right like because it's lu chen cordway i mean i know but are they did they get liberated or not yet that's the question right yeah yeah yeah i've only seen it ever used for suffering beings but it doesn't necessarily mean anything yeah let's do the next lines yay i support that we'll leave that there see what he says just leave it in the present tense people who achieve liberation uh i like your fudging i like it in the freedom attained by those who were in the circle oh so you're saying nick to put here who are uh oh i see uh achieve is good because it's that takes the tense out nick i like it yeah that's what i'm thinking but yes uh go with nick middle way i'm good at being vague what do you mean i refuse to answer that okay cool okay i guess you could say those who have taken on bodies in in the circle of pain i just think it means people though or it does yeah it does but it's just such a specific word for that's true it's true it's true you know um yeah i mean in the sanskrit true it's right shoddy num right yeah people with a shoddy people with a body corpse yeah corporeal or something corporeal embodied yeah yeah but yeah you can say things it's okay all right yeah the uh enlightenment and the people have a bodhisattva hood of protectors or people have achieved bodhisattva levels isn't that means like yes but um yeah i think so um but you see in the sanskrit right it's just bodhisattva and buddha oh they have any boomy here or something no that's probably the discrepancy that keshe michael's talking about uh-huh maybe yeah it may be or at least one of them um yeah gyosei sa sure seems like bodhisattva levels because the law like on those levels even yeah it does well it's still rejoicing at that i mean the law has been consistently pointing to the target of rejoicing what's the hung then even even in the even in this it's even in bodhisattvas like they're cool too it's it's the cha it's it's and yeah oscar was asking about on you more day what's that kramer do you know is it yeah it's this is for joyce but and that's why it's there twice that makes sense but not three times oh i'm in more depth well yeah um however there are these three lines here so it is three times in the um it's not three times in the sanskrit but again there's a discrepancy that's what i'm talking that's what i'm saying yeah exactly right yeah yeah this these last two lines are probably the discrepancy or one set of these lines yeah because we've been doing all only for the first time we get a six it's it's the first that's missing in the sanskrit okay because yeah for what yeah yeah there's no cause for enlightenment in the sanskrit yeah you're right cause yeah yeah so it it would be rejoicing in um the levels of bodhisattvas and the um buddhahood of protectors yes or you could say the protectors or something that i mean sounds more attractive to me um yeah the levels of protectors yeah oh no it's not and protectors it is the of the kiyopanam protectors okay can we say who protect those enlightenment who protect um no that's the key it's not it's not erotic it could be of those who protect yeah probably yeah i'm sure they could and the enlightenment of those who protect or of the protectors either yeah totally okay cool all right on the bodhisattva levels right well that's one of the discrepancies it says it in the right the west chinese but not in the and then what would that refer to right i mean what do level bodhisattvas refer to but realizations on the path to enlightenment so it's not as sort of boring it's just hey i rejoice in the third bodhisattva level but you know like i rejoice in that realization of or those realizations of these levels maybe well he's he's it seems that he's talking about all three right like our hearts arias and then buddhas right yeah and ta right at least in the sanskrit refers to like that state so that quality right like shunyata ta and ta are equivalent like empty is shunya shunyata ta is emptiness this is yeah well sure yeah that's that's sad though that's why it's different i'm joking but yes it does unfortunately i'm sure it's built from each other but those qualities um in in a protector yeah that makes sense or or protected in protectors yeah in fact um right because of the key which makes it uh belonging to maybe the twa is the saw then see that's possible it is it is it could be sought as in the state of yeah because we have no other sign of uh for jungtube so maybe the saw distributes to both jungtube and gilse but the gilse saw is the jungtube song yeah right so it could be the state of buddhahood or this right the states of buddhahood and bodhisattva would bodhisattvahood isn't a very attractive word um the state of being a buddha or a bodhisattva i like it i think that jives with what venerable upala was saying too yeah i think do you think so state um no instead of levels i think i rejoice in the yeah the bodhisattva state is not great right um or just maybe the states uh no i mean well grounds of of bodhisattvas of bodhisattvas the realizations of bodhisattvas i rejoice in the state of being uh and and then i think um uh unfortunately it's it's being you know they say he says enlightened first um of being uh enlightened um or else a child of the victors um uh yeah cool oh don't forget the we need those protectors oh yes i love the protectors yeah i rejoice in the protectors achievement of being so instead of state maybe what do you think i rejoice in the protector's achievement or something of well that's not in there but well i don't know how else you get there from that no well can't you just say enlightenment the protectors you can the protectors enlightenment and then um or then how are you going to say we're of the victor hood you can but but just but just uh somehow we've got to frame that child of the victor hood as um as being a quality yeah so just put it after the second one just put it yeah the enlightenment and the state of being a child of the great yeah totally yeah i would the protectors enlightened uh and this yeah of the children yeah great no no i'm super open so i'm not married to it i assure you i could certainly be more elegant yeah it's not wrong at least it's just quite ambush still oh i can work on it uh after which is in your copious free time yes as the boss likes to say all right uh okay who else wants to read um what do we have here tree do you want to read tree you mean you mean me yes please thank you yeah thank you all right thank you professor okay this line is the same exact as the two verses ago the last line that's what i was just thinking it's almost the same i mean it didn't the last one didn't say two kids no i'm talking about the fourth one um oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah up a little sage the one before that one yeah all right yeah yeah yeah people are getting happy yeah so we should we start with i rejoice for all yeah i rejoice for all beings works again it's good to make it work smart not hard my preference who's who's who's is the toolkit took it could mean um bodhi chitta by the way right yes right i think it does yes okay it's the honorific of some k i suppose yeah yes they're horrific of zay too so we're definitely talking about people who already did something right who threw their bodhi chityas deeds yeah they achieved happiness through being bodhi chityas i ask what it is that is being rejoiced in is it that all the beings who are being rejoiced in or is it the wish to attain enlightenment for the benefit of all beings no like godway jsu is like i rejoice in their happiness right no i think they're he's rejoicing in their ocean of virtue from their bodhi chitta deeds yeah that's what i think okay and it's it's rejoicing the gay way being uh happily instrumental yes happily you could say i rejoice with with happiness or through happiness yeah right with yeah with his with his instrumental uh with my fork and with my sword and magic helmet or my butterflies and puppy dog tails yes yeah i rejoice with happiness yeah yeah an ocean of good and enlightened and bodhi cheetah no well virtuous right gay what is that you're good oh right ocean of virtue yeah but we just say bodhisattva action since 2k is and they're it's sepe is that sepe took k so uh attitude of bodhi chitta now sepe is [Говорящий 2] deeds let's bring happiness to every living being the d no because they say [Говорящий 1] before the days that they right they will bring a happiness no the deeds of the bodhisattva were happy when he when he or she or they made the virtuous ocean what they their thursday was day when they made the gay of gatso through 2k um there's no uh particle but don't apology well that's why i said bodhi chitias earlier it's the ocean of virtue created by doing bodhisattva deeds yeah they made samchen tanche happy yeah those deeds that help sentient beings it sounds like it could be most poetic or something if you just did the whole thing backwards like i happily rejoice for those deeds that benefit sentient beings i hate an ocean of virtue uh that of bodhisattva ish deeds that bring happiness to all beings or something yeah i like it you gotta get you gotta get bodhi chitta in there now yeah bodhi chitta ish a better way to do that for sure i happily rejoice for deeds which benefit living beings uh you can make that two lines and then it like expound sorry it like expands upon those by saying you know an ocean of virtue of you know bodhi chitta ish deeds that bring the happiness ocean of virtue of ocean of needs inspired by the wish yeah something like that yeah it's not in there but it is the the deeds of bodhi chitta so i know it is an ocean of virtue though oh yeah yeah it is inspired doesn't have to be in there yeah something but something like that you know of the wish for enlightenment capital w uh synonyms for the wish none of them are in there so maybe i mean maybe these are i don't know like comma of genes infused by the wish sorry yeah it regardless it's the same thing inspired infused motivated yeah yeah urged capital w for wish yeah question do we do also the or no no no no no no no no no i mean ask me what i really think but wish you gotta do with like a christopher walk-in feel the wish cool which we and we gotta get all sentient beings in there the the happiness of all the bliss of all sentient beings yeah oh oh yeah the first line oh yeah at the end so assumption assumption don't change it oh yeah i've made in the first i wish yeah if there could be another line at the end or something of deeds inspired by the wish uh which bring all yeah there we go to happiness or something we'll be at the end yeah yeah which bring which bring all beings to bliss to bliss yeah i'm gonna pound on that bliss oh cool cool awesome i don't know if it's a silly thing but you might just say uh you might just get rid of the two because it's not i don't know it brings them bliss there's just no article there in the sanskrit or the sure it just brings all things bliss yeah it's it's kind of interesting how there's life i guess that's for meter yes and put a period at the end of your verse please or a question mark or an exclamation point or something yeah all three in quotes uh let's see who else can we have reading oh do you want to read it oh thank you [Говорящий 3] par du sold [Говорящий 1] bar do yeah it's the party that i don't know what's a part do you mean i don't know the only thing i know that part means is a loan word from chinese to mean bog like the pakwa it can mean lit and we do have dharma right before it yeah yeah bar the light so that's usually over the paw right it's usually with a paw it could be a misspelling or another form yeah oh and look look at the sanskrit this uh is the uh deep bum is that light let's hope so yoga pradipika what's the pradipa i mean lamp yeah that's yeah yeah yeah some kind of a dharma lamp to all the yeah lit by the dharma lamp yo this dharma is so lit is well that's that's what that's what the uh [Говорящий 2] sorry bodied so i request to lead the light of the dharma name of the dharma [Говорящий 1] yeah we're selling right we're selling something yeah okay yeah oh check it out it's it's could be so it's it's um it's joined palms i think par is palms oh that's telmo jar that's its soul i think telmo jar right yeah with my with my palms together i yeah yeah that's nice may the light of the dharma take away the darkness of suffering for all sentient beings it's angeli's name there by the way it's kind of cool he supplicates to the buddhas in all directions yeah that they may light the dharma so that there's no suffering darkness for all beings don't write buddhas without a buddha of all directions maybe uh isn't the mohav ignorance there instead of darkness mohad it could be delusional the lulu oh yeah mon mon yeah but what is the lamps take away delusions uh they do they take away darkness for sure the right kind of lamp what is it we have a bunch of lamps we had a whole bunch of lamps we were doing all at the same time about yeah i'd go with darkness for mine here yeah yeah man girl is right moha can literally be delusion but it can refer to darkness there's just a confusion yeah darkness or confusion well tom is confusion right yeah right so it's the yeah like confused by the dark the delusion caused by the dark dark confusion darkness of confusion yeah darkness of confusion of the darkness yeah although in this case it's the confusing i do think it's the confusion caused by darkness because that specifically is what lamps remove it could be just like dark ignorance though that's a pretty common phrase far more poetic say confusion caused by darkness i just mean dark as you know i know yeah i came up with this line uh is it just the light of the dharma uh turkey jenna may no may lighting the lamp of the dharma yeah yeah i like not the light it's the lighting of the land yeah line three staging may the lighting is the lamp of dharma yeah or maybe just like the lamp of the dharma yeah you're right lighting the lamp is done hmm and uh i would keep the between lighting and lamp but i would take the away from between may and uh may and may what may the lighting is a lamp but he's saying so so is he saying i beg that you light the lamp of the dharma oh yeah i beg yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah like do you say like the lamp of the dharma and take away oh yeah because he's like the lamp of dharma you don't uh don't listen to me yeah we don't need love before dharma then sage you're such a fat piper that you're able to put everything we say down before we do may you light the lamp of dharma taking away confusion caused by darkness yeah yeah yeah cool [Говорящий 2] awesome nice but where is the attention doing you [Говорящий 1] every it's everywhere everywhere gibson we're taking away confusion so this is what i would just take i would make it like the dark confusion of all beings of suffering beings yeah take yeah personally um oh so we don't make it five lines you mean take with it yeah i mean i don't know yeah what it's on to evolve and suffering doesn't mean cause code of onto does mean to to cause something or bring something about now oh yeah yeah um oh but isn't isn't the lamp doing the causing in this case well or the um the darkness can be causing the dukkha for sure or the the the confusion can be causing suffering would sanskrit construct that way though where that word quote of onto is not it before those two unfortunately i believe that sanskrit gives surprisingly little consideration to word order it's ambiguous isn't it like latin yeah that's it does that work with endings that other languages do with word order uh-huh so what's the cruel way there's no all there sat but there is i don't know you're right sanjem do know yeah of suffering beings yeah um it's not that the confusion is caused by the oh yeah i guess that sounds kind of no it's that's i think you're i think you're right nick i just wouldn't have the comma after caused that what that's what makes it a little confusing uh there you go that's the darkness i would say taking away i would say the confusion of suffering beings caused by the darkness of confusion because right now it kind of sounds the darkness of suffering caused confusion um you know what uh uh towards question for vantu the two in kordoba um it's imperative so it's a it's it that is the hey do this please yeah this is a soul like i beg you yeah right the darkness of confusion it's present tense imperative plural so may you may use may all your photos in all directions yeah yeah use in the most honorific way possible what is a use yo what happened to our lovely um you know darkness of yeah what happened to our dark dark confusion dark confusion our lovely dark confusion oh nothing don't worry about that you just spelled it with the letters oh it's gone already see we took away that comma and boom the suffering of being caused by dark confusion no uh where are we the darkness i think you do want to say or take away the suffering of being yeah you can say the dark dark confusion or dark ignorance or something um just be you may want to just have it near the lamp because that there is a metaphor being applied here that a lamp is removing darkness and he used a word for darkness that also means confusion yeah and it's not uh the suffering of beings that are just they're suffering we're taking it away from suffering of being although mohad is uh uh that d is from a t which is ablative so um yeah is in the sanskrit it's literally from or you see the suffering is because of okay ignorance caused by dark confusion can we make it totally parallel may you light the lamp of dharma taking away the confused darkness of suffering beings i like it yeah i think it's i said it like 15 minutes ago i know uh the confused darkness yeah i'm i'm frequently the the recipient of that kind of behavior word that's i'm very familiar with i understand we've been at this for years i've been miss america dark confusion i know it's silly we don't like dark confusion instead or something dark i like dark confusion i like dark before confusion i i'm a little uncomfortable that it sounds like the darkness doesn't know what to do pretty much doesn't know what to do that's true problem that's true who do i make and get rid of those commas please uh yeah yeah that final comma wait less i mean uh just suffering beings you know the suffering and no more sanskrit fun uh-oh uh-oh i think that's what he's still can we talk some more about the black line peach tree noon or something i don't know that's some dark confusion there three more minutes till you still have stage you still has to get lead us through a discussion of the that's right dark confusion or eliminating it read it real quick we got three minutes [Говорящий 2] yay word [Говорящий 1] i just assumed that he would do four lines right we can yeah it's a nice working hypothesis well we got the soul there at the end that kind of makes sense and it's not like we ever encounter verses that are sick like six lines yeah oh wait i've never have i i've supplicated for countless eons uh yeah um sick braid but don't we don't we match up that soul with like the first line usually souls yeah i beseech the gila yeah don't erase it but push it down yeah just push it down i i yeah no i beseech you i think stay for account i like that oh maybe like that oh yeah okay i with joined palms i beseech uh [Говорящий 2] the victor to lose victor who's decided to go on to go beyond yeah yeah yeah [Говорящий 1] we decide but yeah at least the victor decide either oh capital v for victors and not all of them we haven't there's not all of them yeah it's just probably the victor or could be victors yeah it could be it's ambiguous um yeah um who's gone beyond grief yeah you can even just say gone beyond grief yeah and they say why like young and they say young and they shit why shit are you feeling about that she literally means to accept but it could be to take a position to so he's or she's or they's they're now gotten there what are they they taught about going beyond grief no i don't think so i think they've reached it the she means they they are now in that state well okay i think that form can also be imperative oh if only we had sanskrit yeah i know it's too bad what what forms about or the shape okay yeah um shake i'd be imperative of well isn't he telling the victors to reach nirvana i mean i it's a little weird somehow it's it's modifying them going to be on grief like it but it is a solar it so what tends to have a um a taste of a request right yeah so what no it means request yeah i'd like to see the soul on match with an imperative yeah it's weird um you know shit would be like i don't know deliver me beyond grief or something i don't know i don't think so because the gel was are beyond grief i i make a request to those who have gone beyond grief yeah they've it seems pretty clear as the victors okay okay cool i think the shape and the shape of the past tense whatever it is i have seen though um been this verse translated that way and meaning it i mean if you take going to nirvana as like completely leaving the scene no more hanging around and helping samsaric beings like pari nirvana kind of thing well no no no like not well maybe kind of like a lower track belief that you just kind of take off yeah that you just disappear so instead of like going off into that bliss and not being concerned at all with the welfare of others please you know if you're thinking about going there please please i beg to the victors who would consider going leaving in nirvana so the vectors uh intent on passing beyond grief or something yeah yeah yeah yeah exactly okay i like that and then then it says i'm asking you please don't please don't go don't don't leave me yeah no that one's still good staging the last last line says please stay you know stay for countless eons it's not that you've supplicated for countless eons oh shook i so i mean you're probably right but you could also mean that's what you've been doing true yeah oh too bad that says me good uh what there's nothing to be good isn't that kind of like because girl means to giggle and i think it would be lovely if we had a buddha hanging around giggling for for countless eons girl can mean need too right or is that just with an s [Говорящий 2] i checked one of the dictionaries say leave leave us don't leave us me good [Говорящий 1] yeah i was assuming that that's what it meant and don't means to blind those who are blind uh don't you know don't become oh yeah drone d don't find blind people people who can't see oh i thought dong was a as a tense of dong to rise up or stand up or something but that might be without an s i just checked the dictionary which i'm sure you did okay cool yeah that seems like so this drill may not be drill wah but actually like wandering blind in in um whatever you said the me good was don't leave but it's saying don't leave uh blind i think it must be dro d must be these people these because the d there don't don't is the imperative of dong to stand up i just double checked oh cool i'm not saying it's not the only thing it can be but it is that it's good to know uh it makes sense if it's blind b it certainly makes sense that like drone d dong is like these blind people i think it would say drone dong d oscar thinks dong power is blinded by ignorance hmm right right not just not literally blind people what don't give us blinded vagueness it doesn't say ignorance there oh it doesn't say by anything either i think it says these blind beings but i know what you mean word uh tibetan can be as ambiguous with the replacement it can what is that d g o d again leave don't leave right me good that good that goes like place like kippa but forth yeah like so don't don't in the dictionary and it says like where you i think you said paula to make me laugh or smile but i have a feeling that's not what it means here well no because it's me good yeah don't do it don't laugh at the line wouldn't make sense to to not laugh at us because i think [Говорящий 2] shit with the a is smile like when you see the montessori he smiled but here is [Говорящий 1] yeah you know means to come in or accept not to leave us in blindness i think that's pretty good how it is yeah except i would personally i'd probably put i ask you to stay for countless not leave us in blindness oh i mean that's just my personal does not doesn't change the meaning at all just think you can mess with that later because we're already seven minutes in overtime awesome just nervous thank you sagey thank you nick thank you all tim it's awesome so excited to hear from gipsy michael what these verses means see how we did he's doing good by the way i heard from rob uh who's with him okay he had his uh you know medical operations yeah and he's doing cool awesome the joy of our own um participation in this lovely endeavor bring all happiness and joy and health to our precious teacher yeah that too awesome yay you have uh seven minutes to find the deeper meaning cool well today is uh yeah like we said the start of the third one of the third chapter mainly uh wishes so anyone has any real life applications narcan well one of the cool things that we said here is uh kind of like coffee meditation right to the the the the intention part of the coffee meditation i guess the sending that the dedication for me i don't know like when i think about this book in general and this chapter and kind of the stuff we were discussing to me i just get like this feeling of how wonderful it is and how much i feel like it can change your life to like remember to have those moments every day to set your motivation in general and it's like for me it's often just think about like i think when i got into all this stuff in the first place i was often wondering like what's the purpose of being alive you know and then when i started learning all this stuff especially logic i was like oh you can like really take things to extremes i'm like well what's the absolute most most powerful and best and greatest thing you could possibly wish for if anything you want is the purpose of being alive or you know like i was like well i guess at the end of the day what i'm what i come to is like peace and happiness for every single being that exists and ever will and i can't like i can't think of any extreme like better vision than that you know just total bliss and happiness for every being ever so and it's like how cool is that to like set that as your motivation for the day you know even if you're like putting together ikea furniture or something which is what i've been doing with this last week uh you know i'm doing this so that it will bring every i'm building the furniture to enlightenment or something for the whole world hmm we'll be over next tuesday [Говорящий 3] and it's really fun to rejoice in enlightenment gosh right what's scripture say we get 10 percent and we're just you know verse after verse rejoicing in enlightenment of different [Говорящий 1] segments of the population you know as you guys were saying that i was remembering that this one of the things we said is this chapter is how to think like a bodhisattva so uh when thinking about you know it's a good way to contrast our normal way of thinking at least mine for sure i wish i was thinking like this instead of all the stuff that goes through my mind all day except if i could only think a little bit more like that thinking of liberation of yeah of all beings and my life would be much much better that's why it's good to come to mix nuts everybody yeah yay i mean we tend to to focus a lot on wisdom but i think also with cheetah right it's important to bring that up in our practice you kind of need [Говорящий 3] you kind of need those two wings right yep yep yep yeah yeah to have that motivation during the day to stop you know like that's what our six times books can help us do right is just just stop and remember what the heck i'm doing and why i'm doing it and master johnny david is the master of of supplication and dedication i mean he's just his heart is just so open and warm and embracing of everybody it's i'm always so inspired by it [Говорящий 1] yeah yeah cool anyone else it's nice that he's asking for help it's uh reassuring here is this great master um with a great capacity and these are these examples of bodhisattva thinking going into the world and rejoicing for other people and uh we put a lot on ourselves but i'm i'm underqualified frankly to be of much use to you uh friends but um but we're here together and when you see pain in the world if you don't feel that you have the capacity to solve it yourself that's okay you can beg for help you can beg for that capacity and i'm sure we could do this in big ways or in little ways um we can ask each other for help in all sorts of little ways don't be shy to ask each other for help we all have our own little weird specialties and uh and we can support one another and um ask for it ask for help it doesn't gotta be you you can't do everything unless you can in which case please help me uh but on the off chance that you can't um ask your friends for help you know it's uh even shanti deva is begging for help and you wouldn't think he'd need it he's a bodhisattva can't he just do it himself he can fly he's not trying he can fly for pete's sake right and and here he is he's not saying i'll take care of it which is it's a beautiful prayer i'm not saying don't think that you think that it's a beautiful prayer i'll take care of it but he doesn't happen to be doing that at the moment he's saying please help for maybe maybe he hadn't yet developed the capacity for flight because he hadn't yet taught the entire book he didn't get to that chapter yet right yeah which chapter does he start flying well i mean here he had already jumped that super high throne so he was he jumped up there yeah but i see that as a hop compared to flying out of the temple and disappearing into the sky true still pretty supernatural already yeah yeah dedicated the merit of the leap and that was what dedicated his wings and and and still displaying humility so if he's displaying great humility in begging for help and i can barely step over a fallen chair not to mention jumping atop a high throne then i can ask for help oh thanks ben i love that you know what i what i was thinking a parallel thought of what you were saying is at the same time is such a hopeful thing to remember we can't ask for help yeah like i remember geshe-la talking in one of the retreats that it's so cool to see yourself as a your future buddha and ask them specifically for help i found that very comforting like you who are there please help me you know exactly what i need we uh we better let hasso take it over help us hey thank you all for today thank you take it away mr hasso thank you thank you ben word nick gibson thanks hey jay hey juan thank you guys as well [Говорящий 2] how's it going it's funny because i was about to ask you guys help but now ben asked me help so but maybe we can help each other in the meantime hopefully or something like that so the way that i can help right here right now or one of the big prices for your videos we're gonna be giving some cool rewards presents and stuff like that so just encouraging you to participate in these games number one about sports number two the fruits and the bodhisattva levels and with this i'm gonna welcome our friend of today erle he's gonna be sharing with us a very interesting talk about some upcoming content on the jata yoga pradipika is erle around sure i'm a hustle thank you can we very welcome please [Говорящий 1] thanks man can we get the first verse uh i've been talking a lot about the upcoming course with geshe michael and we've never really looked at a verse so haso said let's look at a verse today i said that sounds like a great idea so let's look at a verse gibson can you read for us thanks great um please take awesome thanks buddy uh i'll read it we can do the translation there is a practice which has been recommended for those who have yet been able to perceive emptiness and this is the practice of sacred sounds not opashanam taught by the protector garaksha garaksha nathena so this will be one of the main practices of the hatha yoga pradipika in chapter four it's called so it translates it as sacred sounds in the verse not opashanam nada as sound and upasanam as practice so i hear he's quoting garaksha and if you're in the yoga world and you quote garaksha it's like quoting jetsun kappa and garaksha is the cow herder it means the the person who keeps the cows together and it's a name that says he's the guy that can keep the prana of the left channel and the right channel in the center channel and so he's saying hey look for those that and the sanskrit's kind of funny it's it's like those who are totally blind like those people that just can't see emptiness at all here's the practice they need like here's the coolest practice and it's the practice of sacred sounds let's look at the next one bank creamer you want to do the sanskrit three cool thank you the first of all the great teachers shri adi nathena shri adi natha he described all sorts of practices to bring on that final state of seeing emptiness directly a million different lines and he says here the author of the text in my opinion the one practice of the disillusion which the the best practice for that is again not a yoga and so what's cool is the text we're studying it's a hatha yoga text meaning it's things we do it's practices it's uh it's not just philosophy that doesn't lead us with a practical thing we can do and so we can follow a sound and that external sound is a very famous meditation to to follow that external sound and to get an understanding of a subtle sound or subtle impermanence and that's just the first level of nara yoga so if we listen to that external sound it can lead us to the internal sounds of the subtle body or even the experience of sound not like a sound we hear but an experience of sound like a like eshe michael often quotes the text like a sonic boom like a jet that that breaks the sound barrier so it's an experience more than something we hear and these subtle sounds are associated with the with the final withdrawal of the winds in the center channel that lead us to the ultimate state that ultimate realization of seeing emptiness directly so those are the last two verses geshe michael ever taught on this section of the text and it's just the the verses that lead us into this this really cool section and he just translated the verses for his presentation this time so he's never taught them so we'll we'll get to learn the following verses on what the author is saying is the coolest practice for the for kind of like the dummies who haven't seen emptiness directly yet this is the coolest practice to do and this is the practice that leads us to to touching the diamond world so i'll leave it with i'll leave us with that uh haso thanks for the time tim sorry to steal a minute from you or whoever's next but um there's the dates november 24 november 14 to 25 [Говорящий 2] thanks haso very welcome and thank you so much just hearing this also makes me excited about the content we're gonna be studying and learning in just a few weeks from now so i just strongly recommend anyone who's interested in these topics don't miss this chance and hopefully see you there thank you all for taking the time for sharing with us and next we are going to our next translation class with as far as i understand dr su gang and see you saturday if everything goes well hello again hi hi haso
