请所有的家人回到自己的位置上。 Okay, all of our family members, please go back to your seats. Okay, good.

Okay, we'll start.

[Speaker 1]
So, welcome to Gibson's class, and Gibson already finished two books. It's amazing. Yay!

And his first book, no his second book, we will study whole next year in the Lam Rim class, in the Steps on the Path class, okay? Now, Buddha in his lifetime, so I'm Christian. I grew up a Christian.

Jesus was killed when he was 29 or something like that. Then he, we don't have any of his teaching. We have 50 pages.

The whole Bible Jesus taught, Jesus's own talk is 50 pages, and that's all. We don't have more. But Buddha's talk, still we have 990 sutras, 990 talks.

Sutra means talk, okay? We have 990, and some of them are 2,000 pages long, okay? So, big, big difference.

Buddha taught for 50 years after he became enlightened, okay? Something like that. So, we have a lot of sutras, a lot of tantras, okay?

Then, because he taught so long, he taught emptiness many, many times to many different audiences, and he taught the emptiness a little bit different way. To many, to three big audiences he taught emptiness three different ways, okay? In the beginning of his life, first ten years teaching, he taught very basic kind of emptiness.

Then the second part of his life, by the way, the first part of his life became Abhidharma, and Vinaya. And then the second part of his life, he taught emptiness from shin ching, jin kang jing, boro bono mi dong, heavy, heavy emptiness. Very deep, okay?

Then, later in his life, his students came to him, hey, in the beginning you taught emptiness Abhidharma way, then later you teach all those shin ching, jin kang jing, boro bono mi dong, you taught emptiness different way. Which one is correct? Then he said, neither one.

I'll teach you a book in which he taught the third kind of emptiness. It's very, very famous, okay? And that book's name is What I Really Meant, okay?

What I Really Meant, okay? So, Dodegomara, this Sandini Mochana Sutra, very famous, okay? So, that book we are studying, Gibson is translating it, okay?

There's a famous book to explain what's the difference between those three kinds of emptiness, and which one is correct. But the more important topic, much more important topic, when the teacher says three different things, how do we know which one is correct? Okay?

Then that became a famous subject in Buddhism, that became a very, very famous subject, you know? If the teacher tell you three different things, how do you know which one's right? One example, one teacher had three students, he told them, okay today you go and rob a bank, I need some money.

Two of them go, yes, we always obey the teacher, we should go. Two of them went to rob a bank, one of them stayed. Then the one who stays say, I think you don't really want us to rob a bank.

Then he said, ah, at least I have one good student, okay? And like that, it's very, very famous. Two more examples, okay?

If you want more money, if you want to reach a second level in your income, in your company, then make a plan to give more money, okay? It's crazy talk, it's crazy talk. You never hear that in the business school, you know?

If you want more money, please give more money, you know? It's a crazy talk. If you get rid of more money, you will have more.

It's crazy talk, okay? That's a second famous example. Third famous example is, he said kill your father, kill your mother.

Buddha said kill your father, kill your mother. He did not mean you should kill your father, kill your mother. It's number one bad deed in the whole world, okay?

He meant sometimes you should meditate, you know, go to a separate room, meditate, tell the kids you are busy for one hour, and then go away from your family for one hour, two hours to meditate, then come back, then come back to your family. That means kill your father, kill your kids, okay? He didn't mean you should kill your kids, he mean you should go in the room, meditate one hour, then come back and see your family, okay?

Understand? So, how do you know what Buddha said is true, and what Buddha said is not true? How do you know?

How do you know what he really means? And then there's a very, very, very great teacher, Tsongkapa, he wrote down the rules. How you know when to obey your teacher, how you know when to say, no I'm sorry, I cannot rob a bank, okay?

How do you know? How do you know what's correct and what's not correct, okay? Buddha taught emptiness three ways.

Two of them are wrong, okay? How do you know? How do you decide?

And that's the whole book he's translating, and it's one of the greatest books ever written in this world, okay? I'm waiting for a great translator to translate this book, okay? I didn't give to anybody else, okay?

Alright, here we go, homework time. Okay, so the first one, let's learn about the name of the books we are going to translate. Who can give me the name that we are translating right now?

Official? Team? Yes, the Essence of Eloquence.

Can you give me the dates of the Tsongkapa? Okay, your Wi-Fi password, right? Okay, Essence of Eloquence, a classical commentary upon the art of distinguishing between the figurative from the literal, written by Je Tsongkapa, 1357 to 1419.

And we're at the very beginning of the text, and traditionally we are spending time to bowing down to the lineage of the master, and I think one of the function is to ask their blessing that we can understand the text, or we can really understand what is going on in Je Tsongkapa's text. So, okay, so, which two great innovator has speech like the sun itself, illuminating ultimate teaching, among all being in all three of the realm?

[Speaker 2]
Two innovator. Yes, check. Aya Nagatuna, yes, correct.

Yeah, Aya Nagatuna and Asanga.

[Speaker 1]
Okay, it's represented two lineage, right? Well-spread and emptiness. Okay, so those who want to become themselves master's teacher of the way with deep inside, let's realize the real nature revealed in the teaching of the Buddha.

What should they do? It's very short answer.

[Speaker 2]
No, it's about one of the, one of five senses.

[Speaker 1]
Yeah, length of your ear.

[Speaker 2]
Yeah.

[Speaker 1]
Okay, so, okay, we are going to learn some West Chinese word for the master. So, what is the name of the Cho Lam?

[Speaker 2]
Choki Lambo. Ding Naga, okay. Cool.

And how about Pakpa Ra?

[Speaker 1]
What? Ayateva. Yeah, cool.

[Speaker 2]
And how about Tawajapa? Chanjakirti. Cool.

Great. And okay, yeah.

[Speaker 1]
Each name has an interesting meaning, okay? Ding Naga. Ding means direction, and it came into English as dictator, or digital, you see, pointing.

So, ding means direction. Naga means dragon, but in the old days each direction was protected by a great elephant, and their name was Naga. So, Ding Naga means he's like more powerful than the four great elephants protect the directions.

Like that, okay? Second one is Ayateva, god of the Arya, and god of who saw emptiness directly, something like that. And he's the main student of Nagarjuna, okay?

He wrote a famous book called ... 400 verses. The third one, Chandrakirti.

Chandra means moon. Kirti means very famous, and it means ... how famous is the moon in this world?

I mean everybody knows the moon, you know, so it means this guy explained emptiness so good, he's so famous as the moon in the sky. Everybody knows the moon, okay? Got it?

Chandrakirti. The names have meaning. Okay, go.

So, let's go to the student translator, and should I read? Yes, please. Okay.

By the way, his accent is very good. Yay! Okay, I wish ...

oh yeah, all right. ... beings must wander around because they don't understand the ways of emptiness, of peace, and of the things that never start.

Okay, good. But you who care, use a million ways to ... of skillful means and reasoning ...

right. Good. To bring them into ...

Perfect, nice. Thank you. Good.

Yeah, the them is difficult, yeah. Cool. Good translation.

You said they have a slightly different translation than you have done up here. Yeah, so our author Tsongkapa, who wrote this book 600 years ago, he quotes a sutra, and there ... in West China, all the books are carved on the wood.

So, when they are printing a book, they print it from woodblock. But, in India, they don't have woodblock, because it rains all the time, and the wood is just spoiled. So, they have a copier.

They have a human copy machine. Okay, they have a guy, he just copies the book by hand. This also, in Europe, before printing, you make a copy of the book by hand, and those guys are uneducated.

They just get paid a few dollars, and they copy the whole book. They don't know how to read the book, they just copy the letters, you know. Therefore, in Sanskrit, there are many, many mistakes.

In Tibetan language, there are almost no mistakes, because they carve it. And some good guy checked the carving, okay? Alright, so anyway, we have a little bit different sutra here.

... Yeah, usually ... so, 600 years ago, they were still translating ...

they were still mixed nuts at that time. 600 years ago, they didn't finish translating the books from India. Shenzong also didn't finish, okay?

So, they have different translators translate the same book, and then some of them good, some of them not so good, you know. They have to choose the best one. So, sometimes Tsongkapa lived during that time, he will use a different translation, and it's good, it's even better, okay?

Usually. Okay, alright, anyway, there's an example. Let's read, who's gonna read now, Gibson?

Stanley. Wait, he just suffer up here. Okay, you want?

Come on handsome. Double suffering. Shinku lad shinku.

Wait, the first one. ... ...

... ... ko wa le mi dro wa shi ne tuk je chen kyi tum pe ta kyi su thang ri pe go du ma shi kyi te kun du chu wa pa la du ng dzu pa sun so okay okay so my attempt translation is what these lines are saying is that the true nature of all things is something which is extremely too difficult to perceive and that is one fail to precipice one can never be free from the cycle of suffering our compassionate teacher has seen this situation and thus undertake to bring beings on to grasp of this true nature using the great many skillful means and the great many types of reasoning to put put in or yeah get them to enter yeah okay good yeah good nice good good translation good translation he translate for homework okay good translation all right grandpa doesn't say that very often almost never actually all right who's

[Speaker 2]
on Galway soon rocky John wah-tang yep a turn number chip Allah Rakhle she

[Speaker 1]
yeah we'll make you suffer more hang on did you translate not yet okay good they cheer means therefore if you have number chippa yeah in the Sanskrit is Viveka if you have the ability to make fine distinctions okay nam chod and ember those guys you should beg make great effort you should work hard in the top many ways that you can use to call the chippa to understand Dini the suchness cheetah how it is okay how it is okay you have to you have to find those of you who are smart you should find ways to understand emptiness okay day young gala soon I'm cute on their name done and that requires Rakhle that depend that depends on this difficult chick to distinguish yeah how to divide how to how do you say half him into it Gucci trigger trigger so this is a verb chick you have to learn how to divide what what is teacher or what they speak at him yeah what did Buddha say that Buddha meant to say and what did Buddha say he didn't mean to say okay when he said kill your father and kill your mother he he don't mean it okay you will get big problem okay but he did say if you give away money you will get more much more he did say that we should follow that right even it sounds crazy some things sound crazy and they are crazy some things sound crazy and they're not crazy okay and you have to learn to divide them okay that's what this book is about how do you know when Buddha was talking real talk and how do you know Buddha was just making joke or trying to teach you something by saying something strange which gets a lot does a lot okay let's you want to read that and you help her

[Speaker 2]
Joe a gondrel some pattern met by your way to your tongue nice very nice

[Speaker 1]
they need number to divide these two yeah divide what did Buddha say Buddha meant it and what did Buddha say he didn't mean it rob a bang he didn't mean it okay how to divide those two that's a big big big subject of this book very very important okay if Buddha said the emptiness of your mind is that your mind changes is it correct no it's not correct but that's what he said in the first turning of the wheel we had it just now okay all right Jim didn't ever young me now can you just read a book can you just read Buddha Sutra and say okay this one he meant and this one he didn't mean can you can you learn what Buddha meant really meant and what Buddha didn't really mean just from reading sutra no why not then we don't need to have this book but also the whole problem come from the sutra see some sutras they kill your mother kill your father so you cannot you cannot you can not just do what the sutra says you have to understand it otherwise you get a big problem okay otherwise you get a big big problem okay if Buddha said one time in the sutra kill your father kill your mother then we have to be careful with every sutra and we have to think what did he really mean what did he really mean you cannot just accept what the sutra subway Kong Kong boy so so just you can't hold you so you're not there nobody's here I think I'll just go have dinner okay that's the shinjin right you cannot take it literally you have to understand it okay all right tell me doing a bit doing or it should be some key just by quoting the book new pamayana you couldn't do that you cannot Shen do not and I'll prove it to you I'll prove to you you cannot just use the sutra to understand the sutra I'll prove to you Shen do not other people do not makes an adverb out of it so if it were not that way if it were not that way then the shingta temple guys the green no beta guys yeah those two great geniuses of Buddhism a sangha and the garjuna are you sung or you know they wouldn't have to it would be doing mepper for them to read the book you would be pointless yeah make a book yeah which explains how to jipa trauma and how to spend what this Buddha really mean nice okay if if you can learn what the Buddha really meant just by reading the sutra then there wouldn't be 2,000 years of commenters good commenters okay we need them there's a reason for them okay like that okay all right and you want to do one more okay okay

[Speaker 2]
cool so not let drunk a key joke to me tumba Tuma Tuma some day cheer time

[Speaker 1]
yeah tongue a joke so how to joke tongue a how to learn how to establish how to establish what Buddha really meant and how to establish what Buddha didn't really mean just the rules for deciding when is Buddha talking real talk when is Buddha talking just metaphor kill your father kill you okay how do you divide how to divide them do muscle yes so many there's many systems in the sutra and they are meet him up they have a conflict they don't say the same thing there are many systems in the sutra for dividing the sutra which he meant which he didn't really mean there are many opinions spoken by who who spoke the sutra in in Sanskrit sutra means spoken by Buddha okay so in you when you say Jing Jing in Chinese can be old book just old book or something like that or it doesn't have to be by Buddha sutra means spoken by Buddha so even in the sutra sometimes he said one thing sometimes he said different thing and by the way I'll give $1,000 because I don't think we're gonna reach the end of this discussion okay ready and you have to raise your hand okay in the end in the end finally finally finally how do you decide what the Buddha meant and what the Buddha did not mean Gibson have to choose it's my money okay we need to love everybody it's good I mean it's a nice answer but it's not what I'm

[Speaker 2]
looking for okay she say if Buddha is explaining emptiness that is literal if Buddha is nice very empty that is not literal figurative that's a hundred

[Speaker 1]
dollar answer okay good answer that's the answer from the book but there's a deeper answer some copper goes to a deeper answer I'm not sure but let me

[Speaker 3]
try I think it when you reach automate meditation and automate emptiness you will figure out what is what does that really mean it sounds

[Speaker 1]
nice but it's not the answer I'm looking for I'll give one more try that's Stanley no no no no no I'm not paying him more money lady in the middle maybe you'll meet him then the gentleman on the side

[Speaker 2]
Adam she's on non-go to leave in the show to shoot don't you know you can the

[Speaker 1]
motivation is better for other people is literal when the motivation is selfish is bigotry not not what I'm looking for that guy last last chance I think I've saved $1,000 I like it fish on bomb wait you have to split the money if you get four ideas yeah okay

[Speaker 3]
okay I'm not quite sure because my answer is very simple I I think you have

[Speaker 1]
to prove it by yourself you have to prove it by yourself thousand dollars can I

[Speaker 2]
translate for them huh can I translate for them sure just in your city to

[Speaker 1]
tell me oh wait David took the money listen it makes sense listen it makes sense okay what we're talking about sometimes Buddha say what he really mean and sometimes Buddha say what he doesn't mean okay therefore you cannot use what Buddha said to divide but you don't know if he meant or not you cannot use the Buddha's own word to divide what did Buddha really mean what didn't Buddha didn't mean you cannot use it so what do you have to use you have to think yourself you have to think yourself and that's the biggest responsibility of a Buddhist and and I'll tell you honestly I grew up Christian and I like it I like Christian but this idea is fish on pump okay this idea is unbelievable okay if it makes sense follow it if it doesn't make sense wait you could be wrong okay could be exaggeration could be Buddha's telling a story something like that don't just do what the books say think about it think about it okay that's that's Buddhism I like it Kuma all right thank you who's next Rebecca oh no trouble how do you say

[Speaker 3]
our shock par name in a lot did say Sheila Tatar my cap Hanna chair truck

[Speaker 1]
truong a lie on the deal she's super Sam Kee can drew par me new page hero you cannot decide something shock him means you cannot decide okay what's correct just from moon just from the scripture yeah and and somebody said do you need be somebody say this is it this is it yeah you cannot you cannot just open the book and somebody say this is good to kill your mother and father you know this is good you cannot just say this is this and this is that you cannot just do it you have to think about it okay I like it didn't do new love they say now if it if it doesn't appear is it true in all the sutras that if Buddha said this is this and that is that is it true is it necessary true Buddha said this is this this is that is it necessary necessarily true no in general in all the sutras it's not necessary true sometimes Buddha make joke Buddha's tried to shock people Buddha tried to wake up people kill you can go ahead kill your mother kill your father it means meditate for one hour every day quietly without your kids okay it means that okay so in general Buddha said many things he didn't mean now follow me follow me on the question did he mean it or did he not mean it you also cannot follow the sutra I'll say it again in general in the sutra Buddha said many things he did not mean okay in general in the whole sutra you cannot just agree with anything Buddha said kill your father you cannot you have to think about it okay got it in general in all the sutra now on this one question how do you know what the Buddha really meant and how do you know what he didn't mean on this one question in all the sutras right you also cannot take the sutra for that got it in general you cannot make this division in everything the Buddha said and more specific you cannot use the Buddha to decide what did the Buddha mean and what did the Buddha not mean because maybe he didn't mean it when he said it this is how you divide I've said in all the thousand sutras Buddha said many things he don't doesn't mean you have to agree or else you have to kill your father and mother okay he said many things metaphor allegory just example okay then someone asked him question how do we decide what you mean and what you don't mean okay someone asked him question how do we decide what you mean and what you don't mean and he said if I tell you should you believe that no it's part of sutra now if he give an answer to that question maybe he means it and maybe he don't whole sutra cannot decide what he mean what he don't mean to the question what do you mean and what you don't mean be careful with the answer maybe he don't mean it got it okay relax that's a beautiful sentence that should be carved on the door here I think so if Buddha said crazy things in all the sutras then you have to be careful what he answered when somebody said what you mean and what you don't mean okay that's a very deep all right I think she should do one more okay go slow go nice okay tell tell tell tell tell tell tell tell tell tell okay I know that word commentary then la Papa Papa Shiki Jason wrong tranny tranny Kumbha so good hey okay you can sit here and hang out okay what's gong ba at the end the real true intent yeah what did Buddha really mean for example what's the gongba of kill your father kill your mother what's the gong go to meditate yeah go you sometime you have to go to the other room and then come back later okay that's gone gongba means real idea sandini sandini what what the Buddha really meant okay Sunday Sunday gongba so is the cell in Chuck's in searching looking for you have to now interesting you this the end of this part says you have to go and find what the Buddha really meant and it's the students responsibility in Buddhism okay I grew up Christian they say just believe just believe don't worry about it just what the book says just do it okay they and and and it was a beautiful church it was a good church now in Buddhism say no you have to think about it okay well even in the book even in the Bible even in the sutra what say there you cannot just do it you have to think about it okay and it has to make sense gongba so you have to look search try to find the real meaning okay and that's interesting it's not the teacher's job it's the students job mm-hmm okay but never correct your teacher okay now we go at the beginning ninja bar to make the distinguishing divine Chang a J this means divine like you are division okay so somebody has to decide Buddha meant this literally but Buddha was just joking or Buddha was just giving example this this thing they are different okay who makes that division who did makes that division well he says here you can get help from shing da chumble great innovator yeah there are two or three great great great teachers after Buddha who understand this subject especially Nagarjuna is one of them 2,000 years ago and the other one is Arya Sangha okay we call them big wagon maker big wagon maker okay why they talk like that because in the old days the only way to carry things is on your back in the old old times the only way to carry things is carry on your back or put on a horse's back okay then some smart lady probably invented the wheel okay and in English we say you know he's so smart she's so smart she could invent the wheel okay like it means we say don't don't invent the wheel again if somebody already had a good idea we say don't you don't have to invent the wheel again it was maybe the greatest invention in this world was the wheel otherwise you and me carry these chairs back to the other place you know on our back so we have to thank the people who invent the wheel and in Buddhism there are two writers two teachers so great we call them wheel inventor they didn't invent the wheel they just invent great book okay but these two they have idea about what when did Buddha mean what he said and when did Buddha making a joke or something okay right they understand how to make that division okay even them you cannot believe okay it in the end finally a Buddhist a follower of Buddha they have to decide themselves okay what is right what is wrong if you don't understand what's right and what's wrong you won't do what's right and what's wrong you will make a mistake okay got it it's a very unbelievable system okay I look at machine that chambodaki tongue-in-combat down they tell verb from children drop on its brain but do you make commentary on on how to figure out interpretation how to how these two great thinkers they gave us guidelines how to decide what Buddha really meant how to decide what Buddha did not mean okay they gave us some help who has to decide in the end you so you have to decide you're the one who goes to hell Nagarjuna doesn't go to hell okay you make mistake you make mistake and kill your father and tell your mother you will go to hell not Nagarjuna so Nagarjuna say you should believe this you should believe this okay Nagarjuna I respect your opinion I will study your opinion but finally I have to make decision you don't go to hell I go to hell okay okay got it very beautiful go but challenging day I'm needing a strong attention to terminal energy then they said some some some things Buddha said it will never if you interpret it you will hurt yourself yeah some things Buddha said if you interpret it to something else I'm sorry no what that means here no J means they will point out problems that problems were thinking like that no J means problems were thinking okay so they will say do you have a do you have a suggestion how to tell what the Buddha really meant did somebody say if Buddha talk very from the heart you can believe then if they talk a little bit angry you don't believe okay is that a good way to divide no it's not sometimes from the heart they give you a bad advice my teacher angry give good advice okay so you have to check if there's any problem with a person's opinion of what's to be interpreted got it okay Shendu Shendu Jamba means interpret as something else okay interpret to something else okay very beautiful Shendu Zhang same verb Jen and John right me rumor some things are Shendu

[Speaker 2]
not you're not appropriate to interpret it to the other meaning yeah some

[Speaker 1]
statement by Lord Buddha it would be wrong to interpret it Buddha said don't kill any living creature Buddha said don't kill any living creature then some people say yeah but he wasn't talking about beef in in McDonald's McDonald's came later so he probably didn't know about it you know it's okay to eat McDonald's okay come to G's and fish are quiet you know someone tell you Buddha didn't know about Kanji you know he didn't talk about it if he if he know about it he will say it's okay that person go to hell special trip to hell they become chicken in hell hmm didn't a colonel will cook them didn't even do chicken drink bad name but they're not publishing yeah so some things you should not interpret in those we must be able to find the logic which Shanghai just around a golden so good therefore you can fuck in when you try to decide what Buddha meant and what Buddha didn't mean you can use Rikpa reasoning logic logic okay I have logic you know my wife told me not to eat dessert but I'm in Kyoto and they have special dessert therefore I can eat to desert okay is it logic yes it's logic it's just bad all right so you have to follow a good logic when decide what did Buddha mean what Buddha didn't mean you have to follow good logic okay okay let my camera Papa okay who's gonna read next Rob okay by the way ten more minutes then you are free okay Nirvana okay so so don't worry just ten more yes ma ma wa ma wabu ma wabu same a key war poor me rung way cheer down cheer down yeah cheer down new boy day Kona me young how a t-way t-way droop droop pay Rick Bay droop J down then patch hero Jen then pay cheer roll yeah ultimate yeah after all talk after blah blah blah blah Tartu means we decide one thing we must use Rikpa reasoning you must logic logic there's good logic and there's bad logic there's Geshe Michael dessert logic that's not good logic okay so he said here team on me Mimala yeah your reasoning correct me okay without mistake okay not bad reasoning good reasoning okay Rick paniki only with that me is very important here only with that yeah to divide yeah divide what to divide what this Buddha really mean and what he doesn't really mean doesn't mean okay to make that division we need good logic okay not desert logic desert logic is not pure logic a little bit crooked logic okay Rick by Galway Dukta Kenana if you accept the Dukta the age if you accept a school okay if you accept the system yeah if you accept a system which is Galway with Rikpa which contradict with the logic nice if you accept a system which contradicts logic okay then the mama Paul means the teacher of that system okay the teacher who accepts a system which is not logical okay it's not a semi cable we start a person with valley perception yeah it's not a person of pramana okay pramana means it what's the English idiom semi cable we had it in ACI course number five I think semi cable semi cable means a person who cannot lie okay sima means pramana sima means correct perception cable means person but semi cable is an idiom and it means a person who cannot lie okay the purpose of logic we studied logic in the Geshe course for 25 years every autumn time this when the leaves turn red we have to study logic for three four months okay for 25 years okay and that's just to decide what is how to decide something is correct and how to decide something is is not correct okay correct logic is called pramana correct logic is called pramana okay and then a person who cannot lie it's called a pramana person got it okay they only use correct thinking they're called a person of pramana but that pramana doesn't mean logic it means they cannot lie you can believe whatever they say okay Timmy cable mirror not appropriate yeah if a person accepts illogical things they cannot be a person who cannot lie if a person accepts something illogical not logical they cannot be a person who never lies okay they will lie if they are not logical they will lie sometimes they will lie even by accident they will lie okay all right Sammy give a minute which you're done remember they're gonna need young the suchness of the things yeah even if you're talking about emptiness you must droop it you must establish with tape by with with a normal logic good logic good logic okay if you even emptiness you cannot believe what Buddha said okay you must understand it with the pen that's why that poor old man have to stand up around the world year after year and teach the same pen my pen even my pen got old okay got it okay drip chai tan temperature we got some time you want to pick on somebody else okay keep going Sindhu like Bartok Lana Yuka long war long bar water charge a good cheering it men chase soon so I love this word this a very strange expression but it's it's

[Speaker 2]
clear turn him Wombo Oh don't you Wombo the load of the thing the meaning this

[Speaker 1]
doing means idea so Wombo means King King King not one D okay then don't get one means king of all ideas the greatest of all ideas I'm the greatest okay this idea is one this idea is the greatest the greatest okay the greatest idea is what he just talked about how to divide what Buddha meant and didn't mean okay that's the greatest idea and he says designate because he saw it and then they use the honorific for pussy see sick like Chenry Chen is 60 Chen receive high high word for C you only use it for king or or like C means to see high person high person so Tibetan has normal language and Tibetan has a high language okay dandy one designee because they saw this idea and I found it in the sutra okay and it's not exactly dispelling but I I like okay so who they talking about who see yeah because the Buddha understood this best idea of all the ideas in the universe how to divide what he meant what he didn't mean because he understood it himself he said to kill and art all the monk I don't care if you're monks or nuns I don't care if you're Kappa you're a person wise people people normal world okay he loves both of them I love my monks and nuns and I love my CSP people okay he said it here okay he said monk nun or CSP Kenan key you have to check things like Sarah like a goal yeah when someone offer you a gold coin you have to second you have to chair you have to die and the file failing burn it burning melt it check don't you chupa cut it cut it Dharma file file file okay now there are three tasks of gold in ancient times now listen in the old days there's a big problem with money there's no credit card there's no paper money there's no coins if you want to buy a horse you have to give this many gold rock gold stone you know then the guy sell the horse he's like all right check inside of the gold maybe it's fake so there are three tests if someone try to give you a piece of gold for your horse to buy a horse number one you should melt it then you can see if it's fake inside okay gender Java okay then it's first one second one you should check you can cut it also with a clipper or you can file it okay now each one of those three tests of gold is very famous in Buddhism each one has a different meaning okay the burning has one meaning the cutting has a different meaning the filing has a third meaning there are three tests you use for truth okay there are three tests you use for truth now what's the great invention of Netflix episode 1 episode 2 episode 3 in Korea soap opera right at the end of the show someone almost ready to die then cut then come back next week understand what I'm saying okay there's three tests of gold you must learn them come back next class I want you to translate this
