[Speaker 1]
We're going to go right into the second meditation. What's the second meditation? What's the picture?

There's the photo. What's the meditation? Yeah, all the little happinesses I ever had, they came from keeping those ten good deeds.

Don't kill.

[Speaker 2]
Don't steal.

[Speaker 1]
Don't mess around with other people's partners. Don't lie. Don't split up people.

Don't say mean things to people.

[Speaker 2]
Don't blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

[Speaker 1]
Don't be upset when other people get nice things. Jealous. Don't be happy when other people get trouble, even if you don't like them.

And then don't forget where your world is coming from. Okay, so every time you did those ten, I'm sorry, every time Joe did those ten, he sent into the future some small happiness for you. I live in Rimrock, Arizona.

There's a ... Guangzhou is the biggest city in the world. Mexico City is the second.

I think Rimrock is the third.

[Speaker 2]
I think we have 3,000 people.

[Speaker 1]
So, we have a post office. It's next to Cricket's. There's two ladies in there.

They worked there for a hundred years. And they're working in the post office. You give them, you write a letter.

[Speaker 2]
So, let's say you write a letter to yourself.

[Speaker 1]
Geshe Michael, you are stupid. Put it, wrap it, give it to them. They're like ...

Then they just throw it in a bag. Then it has to go about half a mile to my house. It will take about six days.

So, after six days, the postman also like that. Give me the letter which I wrote to myself. And I open it up.

Then it says, Geshe Michael, you are stupid. Then I get angry at who? At the postman.

You go home, your partner says you are stupid. You are just getting a letter that you wrote a few weeks ago. The partner is just the postman.

They are delivering your own karma to you. So, it's stupid to get mad at those two old ladies. They didn't do anything.

You sent the letter. And you sent all the happiness in your life. Things have happiness inside them.

[Speaker 2]
Like music.

[Speaker 1]
There's some happiness inside.

[Speaker 2]
Or when you touch your partner.

[Speaker 1]
Or when you eat something like churro.

[Speaker 2]
Usual. But who put the happiness in there? Was Joe.

And sometimes you eat a churro, you get sick.

[Speaker 1]
Sometimes you try to play music to calm yourself down and you get more nervous. That means there's not enough karma inside that thing. So, every happiness you have, every good thing that happens to you, Joe put it in the food, or Joe put it in the music.

[Speaker 2]
Ready? Okay, second meditation. What things make me happy?

[Speaker 1]
And what did Joe do to put that thing in the thing?

[Speaker 2]
Like coffee.

[Speaker 1]
Sometimes it makes you happy, sometimes it makes you nervous. Okay, here we go. You are very experienced.

I don't have to do all the breathing and everything. You can do it. What happiness did Joe send to me?

Back to your breath. And take a stretch.
