[Говорящий 2] (0:00 - 2:45)
Ready? Let's meditate. Afternoon, a terrible time to meditate.

If you can meditate in the afternoon, you can meditate anytime. Bring in your tummy slightly. Lengthen your spine.

In China, they really like that thing about putting a string on the top of your head and pulling up. Feels good. Relax your eyelids.

The barometer of tension in your whole life is your eyelids. Release them. Watch the corners of your mouth.

Relax the corners of your mouth. You can rock up and back a little bit. Find the center balance.

Left to right also. Find the center balance of your torso. And slowly come to your breath.

Start to watch your breath. Please focus on the exhales. On the beginning of the exhale after the pause.

[Говорящий 1] (2:47 - 6:02)
And then on the length of the exhale and the duration of the stream of breath. And then focus on the border between the end of the breath and the pause. Especially that last thing.

You shouldn't have a breath go by that you don't focus upon the border between the end of the exhale and the pause. I'd like you to imagine the house or the room in which your heart teacher lives. If you don't have a heart teacher, then imagine one.

Imagine who you would like it to be like, your heart teacher. So try to imagine where they live, the room in which they live. In my case, it's not very fancy.

[Говорящий 2] (6:03 - 8:23)
It's a normal American tract house living room. Kind of old. But imagine them sitting there, and you're sitting with them.

So whoever you see as your heart teacher, you are sitting with them. And you're just sitting quietly together, enjoying each other's company. And we're going to do a jogong.

We've been doing che gongs and sha gongs. We've been doing sort of more cursive thought.

[Говорящий 1] (8:23 - 8:34)
We've been thinking a lot during our meditations, and this afternoon I'd like us to go into more of a single-pointed meditation on a single object, jogong.

[Говорящий 2] (8:37 - 9:00)
So if you have earplugs, get them ready. If you want earplugs, raise your hand. You have them in your room or something?

Next time.

[Говорящий 1] (9:01 - 11:10)
If you have them, pull them out. If you don't have them. These are fresh.

I have two pairs. You want? Anybody want?

They're unused. These have enough earwax to make candles. Then I like to get it skinny.

And then you put it in, but you don't push in, push up. And it does better. Oh, let me tell you what we're going to do before you put it in.

So then we're going to... once you get it in and you close your eyes again, for a long time, like 10-15 minutes, which is a long meditation to keep focused on, we're just going to ask the teacher to come up into the air. As they come up, they shrink.

Their size shrinks. Then they're going to come to the top of your head and turn the way that you're facing. Then they're just going to come down and land on your head very gently.

Then I want you to one-pointedly focus on the point of contact, which is a chakra. There's a chakra there. It's a sahasrara.

Sahasra means 1,000. Ara means spokes. Sahasrara is 1,000 spokes.

So you're going to focus on the warmth of your heart teacher's body on the tip of your head. And a little bit might leak down your spine. That's all.

And we're just going to do that. Just one focus on that. And then I'll try to talk loud when we come out.

So it'll be about 10-15 minutes from now. And if you're still deep in, we'll let you be and we'll have the class. So get your ears ready.

[Говорящий 2] (11:11 - 11:41)
We'll bring them for you tonight. When you're ready, just start. Just the warmth of their body.
